IN2IT lipsticks loot!!

I wasn't suppose to these IN2IT lipsticks but they were on a great deal for RM9.90 from RM19.90.
To add on, they were in the most beautiful nude/orange shades. I just couldn't resist.

They come in a silver tube which I would say it is okay. It doesn't look too cheap nor tacky.
I can't expect much for a lipstick that is so affordable.

One thing I don't like about these silver packaging is they are fingerprint magnets!

The two shades i have gotten.

Choco is a pinky beige nude.

Ginger is a peachy nude.

These nudes look great on my skintone ,I haven't got my skintone match in MAC for a long time but I suppose it is NC15-20, it doesn't wash me out. If you are of my skintone, I recommend checking them out.

Travel Diary : Sandakan, Sabah Day One

Despite being Malaysian, I have never once stepped into the eastern side of my country, the Borneo region.

My relatives and family organised a 3 days 2 night trip to Sandakan to experience nature and also seafood.

Sandakan is a paradise for wild life lovers and seafood lovers.

First stop - Nam Chai Bak Kut Teh Restaurant.

The Sandakan Bak Kut Teh is different from the Bak Kut Teh we usually have in the Klang Valley. It is bland and with lots of pepper.
I personally do not really enjoy it. If you want to have a Bak Kut Teh fix, I recommend to get your fix in West Malaysia, where the Bak Kut Teh is more flavourful and fragrant.
It's not a bad try if you are up for something different.

The prawns are really fresh though.

Pork meat.

If you are really up for a try, get the seafood variation - prawn and fish. For pork, let's leave it to have our fix in West Malaysia.

Buah Terap are native to Borneo, Pahlawan and Mindanao Islands.
We only could get these fruits over here in East Malaysia and me, growing up in West Malaysia, I never seen them before in my life!

The flesh of buah terap.

Although closely related to cempadak and jackfruit. I find the taste to be very different from those two fruits. It is mild and sweet, almost a mix between soursop and mangosteen without the tangy kick and extra sweetness.

The actual journey starts with this.

Sepilok OrangUtan Rehabilitation Centre.

Too bad we couldn't catch the Sun Bear because it was closed due to bear escape issues.

It's such a pity.

The rehabilitation center is still a forest, it is not like a zoo. Nearing feeding time, you could see some hungry monkeys swinging their way to the feeding platforms.
Sometimes you could even catch them swinging from trees to trees.

A hungry Orang Utan having a great time at the feeding platform.

A cute baby Orang Utan clinging on his/her mama.

The crocodile farm.

There's nothing special . Could be skipped.

FOTD : Mocha & Meatballs

Yesterday was like any usual day. I didn't do anything interesting except chomping down Ikea meatballs and going to the gym.

Another simple FOTD.

For my base makeup, I am using the L'oreal Lumi Magique Foundation. I was shopping my stash and I have found my my love back for this foundation. It is medium coverage that gives a luminous and dewy look which I love. It makes the skin look healthy. It is not cakey and heavy which I don't like in foundations, heavy foundation feels like it is suffocating the skin.

You probably can't see my blush since I am washed out by the natural lighting but it is from a Korean brand called 'Tears'. It is a peachy shade.

Part of the makeup item I used for my look.

We have there an eyeshadow palette from LA Colors in Cafe Au Lait. Tears' blush in PK004. Majorlica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing Mascara. L'oreal Lumi Magique Foundation. Daiso's Winmax Lipstick in Mocha.

I adore this new lip colour. It's a nude but it is a beautiful nude and you know what, the lipstick is just RM5. Yes, it is the Daiso lipstick I posted on my previous haul post in Mocha.

It is not the most long lasting or moisturizing of lipsticks but, the colour is absolutely gorgeous. It translates into a peachy nude with brown undertones on my lips.

Daiso beauty finds - Winmax lipstick.

It has been a long time since i hop into Daiso and finding cheap thrills. It is always fun to be in Daiso, you can never know when you can find a gem.

I was walking along the aisle of cosmetics, as per usual and I came across these cute lipsticks.

There were three colours available at the rack, I do not know if there were more shades offered.

The packaging is what that totally got me. It is just so simple and beautiful. The gold printed design on the white packaging gives the lipstick an elegant look.
Very nice packaging for something that cost RM5.

The down side of the packaging is sometimes the lid closes too hard and it gets quite tough to open the lipstick. I feels like I am going to destroy that lipstick by pulling the lid too hard trying to get it open.

Salmon pink is a rosy pink with brown undertones and slight silver shimmers.

I destroyed the lipstick while trying to get it out from the box, it was a challenge to get it out from the box. I thought my nails were going to break.

Cherry Blossom is a medium warm pink.

I think this is the most beautiful colour among the three and the colour that will complement me the most.

Mocha is a beige with brown undertones, more like a tea colour.
It doesn't have a white cast, so it doesn't wash out.

They are all beautiful, wearable colours and for RM5, it can't go wrong.
Don't you love finding beautiful and cheap stuffs.

Bourjois in Watsons Malaysia!

I am late on the bandwagon but Bourjois has arrived on Malaysian shore.

Bourjois was launched in Malaysia in Sunway Pyramid, which is over the other end of the world for me as I live in Ampang and do not have a car but fret not, they are now in selected Watson's.

Taken from the Pavillion branch's Watsons.

The prices are super affordable , they range from RM20-RM60 which is roughly the same or cheaper than the prices in Europe and the UK.

The selection is still limited, the bronzing powder, bronzing primer, velvet rouge and cream blushes have yet to arrive Malaysian shores.
Hopefully we will get to see them soon.

My picks from Bourjois are their Healthy Mix Foundation, Round pot blushes, Rouge Edition lipsticks and the CC cream.

I couldn't resist the temptation of not getting anything at Bourjois as I was swatching and playing around with the testers.
In the end, I picked up a blush.

I love Bourjois' blushes. They are very comparable to the Chanel blushes for a fraction of the price.

Most beauty junkie should know by now, that Bourjois owns Chanel.

Rose de Jaspe is a vivid pink with warm undertones packed with gold shimmers.

Bottom left : Rose de Jaspe right: Lilas D'pr
Rose de Jaspe is quite similar to Lilas D'or (which is known as a NARS orgasm dupe) but compared to Lilas D'or, Rose de Jaspe is pinkier. Lilas D'or is more peachy coral. Both are packed with shimmers.

When opened, the blush comes with a lovely note about the history of the blush from Bourjois and a useless brush. The brush is too soft and flimsy for application. I always throw them away.

American cosmetics haul

Getting NYX in Malaysia is no tough job, it's all in Sephora but ordering from the US is much cheaper than retail price and there's a wider selection and do not need to bother about items I want being out of stock.
It's annoying that most NYX lip products in Sephora is always out of stock.

From left : NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp, Istanbul, NYX Butter Gloss in Peaches and Cream, Vanilla Creampie, Tiramisu, Maple Blondie, in box : Merengue, Creme Brulee, Apple Strudel.

I love NYX products, I really do. I have a truckload of their lip products in my makeup collection. Their lip products are the best bargains in the market. I used to get their lipsticks when they were USD1.75 each but now the prices has gone up.

I heard many raves about the butter lipglosses and I am just itching to try them out. So, when I got the chance to place an order on them, I went a little crazy and got 7 colours.

This was an impulse buy. It was on sale and I thought why not try it since I love Milani products and I never tried their foundation before.

Travel with me : Putrajaya

It is not really a travel post. It was just me running errands in Putrajaya at the same acting touristy and snapping pictures of the some iconic buildings in Putrajaya.

Putra Mosque.

Stopping by here to get myself to the information counter because I can't seem to find Wisma Putra at that time. Took us awhile to get to the 'hilltop' to get my documents legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Perdana Putra. The office complex of the Prime Minister.

Lip polish loot!

Guardian (A local drugstore) was having a buy 1 get 1 free offer on the Maybelline Lip Polish till yesterday. I thought it was a good chance to get the lip polishes. In the US, they are the 'Color Elixirs' , the name switches at different continents so are the shades, there, they come in 20 shades or so but over here, we only carry about 10 shades.

I have been wanting to try them for some time but they did not release it in the Europe, so I had till I get back to Asia.

I picked up two shades. Glam 9 and Pop 5.

Glam 9 is a warm tone pink with peachy undertones with fine gold shimmer. The shimmers is really pretty, it adds dimension to the colour.

Pop 5 is a hot pink. Girlish and cute colour. It is the type of colour that screams my name.

The packaging is chic. Where they fill in the product is shaped like a lipstick bullet. I find that really cute.
I haven't tried the lipsticks yet since I just got them yesterday but I will work with them soon. A review will be up soon with one of my FOTD post.

Autumn clothing haul

Clothes in Moscow can be very expensive. So last autumn, I made a haul online so I could get cute and fashionable autumn clothing and bring them back this autumn.

I picked up about 5 autumn wears and 2 dresses. They didn't cost me too much. I spent around USD100 or maybe less for all of them.

The first item I picked up is a cream coloured knitted top with lace at the bottom. I find the lace gave the sweater a cute, sweet, girlish look.

A pink sweater with a peplum.

This has got to be my favourite in the bunch! The jewel detailing at the collar just added something to the top, it made it look more expensive than it is.
The jewel detailing doesn't look off or tacky on the collar.

This top is very edgy with the zipper detailing and flowy fabric coming out of it. My mum likes this one the most.

Dress with geometric patterns. I find quirky and cute.

A cute beige dress.

There are more clothing hauls to come soon. Stay tune.
I got my clothings all from Qoo10.com.my .

Topshop makeup adventures

Topshop is having a buy one and 2nd 50% off in Malaysia. If you are interested in Topshop's makeup, it is worth taking a look at their makeup items and maybe grab up some things.

I have been lemming after some Topshop makeup after hearing about them from Becca Rose who is one of my favourite youtuber. She always uses the Topshop Glowstick and it really looks extremely gorgeous on her and I just need to get one for myself too. I am a highlighter lover too. I just love to have the glow and shine on me.

It is a beautiful champagne colour that goes well with most skintone. It is very highlight-y and I love it.

Topshop has one of the most chic packaging I've ever known. I really love their packaging and their lipstick packaging is really cute!

The shade I got is 'Brighton Rock'. I would describe it as a warm fuchsia tone. It's bright but it is not loud, it is still suitable for daily wear.
Topshop lipsticks are creamy and smooth. It doesn't dry out the lips too much. The pigmentation is fabulous.
If you love pinks, I would recommend checking this lovely bright pink out.
