hello spring

Haven't been out for a small shopping trip for the longest time ever.
Since May Holiday is next Wednesday and I don't have any big and heavy subjects on Monday and Tuesday, took the chance to go out for a small shopping trip and also food trip, went out for Chinese food. Having Chinese food is one

Here's a FOTD
The makeup is really light. I used the Lush Colour Supplement in Light Yellow as my foundation topped of with a light powdering of Rimmel's Stay Matte.
For my eye makeup, I just tightlined my eye, applied mascara and highlighted my undereye.
For lips, it is the Maybelline PopStick in Tropical Pink, I really love this lipstick, it gives my lips a pink tint that last all day.

I went to Pull & Bear and this was love. Love at first sight.
Pink Trenchcoat which I always wanted. It isn't easy to find such a pink trench coat over here. Usually it is always black, dark blue, beige, brown.
When I saw this, I just knew I had to get it.

What is Spring without flower headband.
I just have to picked up new headbands to welcome spring. Both headband are really cute!

Now I am all ready to gear up for Spring .

Luminous code.

This time I am back with a product that I have been loving for quite awhile it has worked for me and I did a repurchase.

It is the L'oreal Youth Code Illuminator serum and because the serum worked on my face, I went ahead and got the moisturizer along.
The serum and moisturizer set.

The moisturizer comes in a bulky silver coasted glass packaging with a plastic white lid.
This is gonna be hefty to carry around for travels, it's too bulky and heavy.

The cream has pearlescents shimmers in it.
The cream is really light and easily absorbed into the skin, it doesn't leave any residue.
I haven't use it long enough to see any new changes to my skin. I will do an update review when I use it long enough.
The texture of the cream. As you can see it is light.

Now to the serum.
I have been using the serum for about 4 months and I am definitely seeing improvement on my skin. My skin is now much glowier and brighter. Making my skin look healthier.
On lightening darkspots, I won't say it does much on that area.

A nice look of every scar and pigmentation and spots on my skin.
That is the glow I am getting after the application of the serum.

This serum is really light and spreads easily. It doesn't leave any residue on the face. It didn't break me out in the course of using it.
It has a scent, I can't seem to get what it smells like but it is not an unpleasant scent. It shouldn't bother people who hates fragrance since it isn't very strong and it goes away really fast.
I recommend this product for those looking for a skin glow and even skintone.

Spring 15th haul

Spring has finally arrived here. I could finally pop a jumper and go out for a walk without being afraid I would freeze to death!

It's the 15th and If I am not mistaken I skipped my 15th haul last month. I was trying to save money on one of the month and I didn't pop in my local beauty store for a quick retail therapy.
Anyway, today, I am back with one!

Three Catrice Lipsticks and Maybelline Color Sensational Popsticks

I wonder is the popsticks discontinued because I picked mine up at the clearance rack. It wasn't at the shelves for the past few months and today when I went, they threw the whole stash at the clearance.

Well, since I am afraid they are going to be discontinued for good, I had to picked up my favourite colour, Tropical Pink as a backup because I really like this product.
A lot despise the popsticks due to the poor colour payoff but I love it, it gives me a nice glow of colour on my lips. I don't know if it is because my lips are pretty pale thus the colour really shows.

Maybelline Color Sensational Popstick in Tropical Pink.

Then I picked up three Catrice lipsticks.
I did some research before purchasing these lipsticks. These colours are close to current hot colours in the Asian beauty world (In Korea to be specific)
060 Oh Juicy!, 200 More is More and 140 Pinker-Bell

More is More is a medium pink colour with slight shimmers but shimmers don't really show up upon application. It is the everyday wearable pink colour.
This colour was on sale which is surprising because it doesn't seem to be a unpopular colour. I am glad it is on sale though.

Oh Juicy! is a bright straight-down orange. This screams spring colour!
Orange is really popular colour in Korea right now, a lot of brands are pushing out orange lip colours, blush etc. for their collections.
Orange compliments for Asian fair skintone. It brings out the complexion by giving an illusion of bright skin. This lip colour gives an impression of a fresh, glowy and bright look, a really great look for spring.

Pinker-Bell is a hot fuchsia pink colour. This colour is the bomb in Korea right now. If you have been watching Kdrama (actually I haven't but I got my source from going through Kdrama recaps), there's a lot of actresses spotting a hot pink lips.
This is another colour that compliments Asian fair skintone. Like a bright orange, it brings out the complexion, giving an illusion of a bright skin. Instead of giving of a fresh look impression, hot pink gives off a chic and feminine feel to the look.
It is definitely a must-have colour.

I wanted to get the L'oreal Nude BB to try but from the swatches even the lightest colour was 2 tone darker than my skin colour, and I don't have the most porcelain of skin colour, so I have to pass it off.
There was also L'oreal Mat Magique which I actually thought of getting it but the texture didn't wow me, it is too powdery for my liking and it looks like the type that would set in fine lines or dry patches.

Other things that I am eyeing is the Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipsticks. There are kinda pricey in my opinion but I tested them out in the store and I really love the texture and colour. I will be saving up to get them.

That's all for my haul this Spring.

Hello April

Hello April and Spring but it is not exactly spring over here, but well, it rained, finally. So you could call it Spring's Awakening.

We had Sushi time and also Korean food time.

A whole lot of sushi. Just heaven!

Baked mussels, these are delish!

tteokbokki.

FOTD:

My eye makeup this time is an achievement, I really like the orange eyeshadow.
Orange makes me look fresh.
The eyeshadows used are ArtDeco Mono Eyeshadow in 372 and Elianto Eyeshadow in Cadmium Orange.
And as usual Maybelline Color Tattoo in Infinite White to highlight my bottom eyelid.

For Base makeup, I used the Missha M Vita BB cream together my Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer, I have gotten so attached to the volumer to give my skin a nice glow since it's still cold and dry over here. Topped it with MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural and ELF blush in Innocence.
Besides that I highlighted my face with ELF Radiance Enhancer in Spotlight.

Lips are Etude House Dear Darling Tint in #1.
