End of March~ + FOTD

The uploading speed of my internet has been really wonky thus it is really difficult to upload pictures on the blog.

So last week I went to Dionis, a fusion restaurant near my hostel to celebrate my roomie's early birthday bash.

Chicken Briyani Rice which I ordered

I really like the atmosphere of the restaurant, it is really peaceful and quiet.
The environment is dim but doesn't scream dark!

The desserts.
So nicely decorated and tempting. I just got a little sugar rush by looking at this picture.

A random picture in the restaurant.

Look of the day.

I used the VOV Liquid Foundation, I only used it about 2 to 3 times, I couldn't say anything bad about it yet but at the same time, it doesn't really have the 'wow,you-must-have-it' factor.
It has a great coverage though thus about half a pump is enough for my face since I don't like caking up foundation. Topped it up with Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer and Rimmel Stay Matte powder.

Lips is a peach-orange colour by Innovation in 76. I wore this lipstick a lot during my UK trip.

Travel Diary : Day 2 in UK : SeaFresh

Day 2 journey in UK ended in a Fish n Chips restaurant near Marble Arch - Seafresh
We asked our tour guide to recommend us a Fish n Chips restaurant and the lovely bus driver recommended us to try out this restaurant.

This is my fish and chips and it was around 13 Pounds.
The portion was really big!
But I am kinda meh on this Fish n' Chips because it was too oily for my taste.

The free ice-cream that came along with the set.

Outside Victoria's tube station
Wicked at Apollo Victoria.
Didn't manage to catch a show there because of the ticket price. I didn't save up enough money.

Gmarket haul #2

I hate Russian EMS. It arrived in Russia on the 18th of February and guess what? I only received my parcel on the 3rd of March!
I usually order my Gmarket to Malaysia which is sent to me the next day my parcel arrives my country from South Korea.

Since I paid a lot of for the shipping, I would say this is lousy service.

Kinda bumped because now I have extra toners since I bought one from The Body Shop because I needed one desperately.

The parcel. Such a huge box for little tiny items.

I ordered a birthday present for my friend too but I won't show it here.

For myself I just ordered very little items.
They are skincare samples from this seller(Link Here). I like getting from this seller eventhough the price is slightly higher because the seller has a variety of items to choose from and the delivery is usually really fast!

I got 3 samples of the items I wanna use/try.

History of Whoo Seol Whitening Skin Balancer

Sulwashoo Snowise Balancing Water

History of Whoo Whitening Intensive and extra freebies!

The bottles of the sample.

The History of Whoo toner comes in a milky-white colour and its consistency is watery.
The fragrance reminds me of calamine solution.

Sulwashoo's Snowise Balancing Water has a more gel-like consistency but still watery. It does have a more herbal scent. Korean skincare are 90% of the time scented, so for those who don't like scents, it might irk you off.

History of Whoo Whitening Intensive.

The cream inside. The cream has a really weird powdery texture and it has a slight herbal scent, hardly noticeable.

Freebies!

The Body Shop : Seaweed Toner (first impression)

I ran out of my Naruko toner and sadly enough, you could not get Naruko over here (I really heart that Naruko toner to death!). And the mail man hasn't send my Gmarket order over, I ordered some toners from there.

Since no toner in the drugstore caught my eye because most of them contain alcohol, I am not a fan of alcohol since it dries the skin out, my bad experience with the L'oreal Pure Zone toner.
So, I went to The Body Shop since I checked on their toner and it is alcohol free.

After checking so many reviews, I picked up the Seaweed range toner.

First Impression,
It does have a really strong fragrance, It is not choking for me but I think it is for most.
The texture is not exactly watery, maybe because of the glycerin. I can feel the texture of the glycerin as I apply this toner which is not a bad thing since glycerin locks the moisture in the face.
It cleanses the skin, purifies it. So far,it didn't break me out.
I haven't see any faults on this toner yet.

I have to use it longer to see its full potential.  I will write a longer review when I am almost done with this bottle.

Travel Diary :Day 2 in UK - Oxford

The next stop is the historical prestigious city of Oxford.

Martyrs' Momument

The Graduation hall

The Harry Potter mark inspiration.

The hall they use to film the hospital scene in Harry Potter.

The inspiration for Nearly Headless Nick

The library

Then we head down the streets of Oxford to buy Oxford shirt and jumpers!

The shop I bought my goodies from.

When you go Oxford, you need an Oxford shirt.
I chose a simple grey one. It is  £4.99.

A pink Oxford jumper. I have a pink jumper already but I couldn't resist a light peachy-pink jumper.
It is  £14.99 (If I am not mistaken)
