Colour my world : Innisfree mini buy

I can't believe it I still have 2 days before I am heading back to Moscow. I do not like this feeling.
I wish that time could stop right now and I would be at home forever.

Anyway, I am going to do a small mini loot post.

I got these because they were a 'hit' item in Korea, they sold out as soon as they are introduced on the shelf.
They Korean blogosphere where raving about it, on how creamy and greatly pigmented it is.
It is the Innisfree Creamy Tint Lipstick.

Eventhough It is labeled as a lipstick, this product works 3 ways.
It can be used as a lipstick, liptint and also blusher.

The packaging is eco-friendly, it is made out of waste paper and printed with soy ink.

The colour I got is 1 Flower Buds Pink and 3 Dreamy Orange.
They is a total selection of 15 colours. 5 of which is newly released.

The packaging is really simple with a colour coded cap at the bottom.

#1 Flower Buds Pink is a deep rose colour.

#3 Dreamy Orange is a bright orange.

I really love all the colours offered by this line. I really want to get all of them if I could.

They are slightly more expensive compared to other roadshop brands at 12,000Won for 3.5g of product but it is worth the price because, a little goes a long way. It is so pigmented!

Eating out : China Town

China Town/ Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur or we Chinese call it ' 茨厂街'
I haven't step into this street for a very long time.

It is a famous tourist landmark in my country.

During my secondary school years, I often come down to this street to eat before heading for tuition classes which is located in this street.
My school is really near the streets too, it takes about 15 minutes walk to the street.

This time my parents took me to the street for breakfast.

Sweet Potato balls.
I love these sweet potato balls, I used to religiously buy them everytime I go to Chinatown. They just taste so good. The outside is crispy to the bite and inside is chewy.

This is the famous Rice Congee shop in China Town.
They have shop branches around with a cleaner and more cozy environment but this one still retains in its original form, in a attap shop by the roadside.

This shop has been standing in this spot for more than 60 years.

Century egg pork ball porridge.

I really love century egg in my porridge.
The porridge taste really homely. I do enjoy the porridge a lot.

Muar Chi.

Muar Chi are glutinous rice balls in crushed peanuts and sugar.

Get Ready with Me #1

It was my first time going for a concert yesterday. I was so excited.
Concert experience later.

I am going to do a FOTD.

For the base, I used Nature Republic Ice Jelly Primer in Melon to smoothen out my skin and brighten it.
Then I applied Missha Complexion Coordinating BB Cream in Beige.

I am gonna say I like this CC-BB Cream eventhough it is the first time using it. It brightens my face to the level I like and It really makes my face look flawless. It has a good coverage for a CC cream, the coverage is light to medium but the coverage isn't enough for pimples, blemishes or heavy pigmentation.

I find the coverage excellent for my current skin condition.

The cream stayed all the day through the concert, through sweat and humidity, I had it from 2pm till 12am.

I layered all of the base with my favourite MAC mineralized skin finish natural. I gotta say that this is still my favourite setting powder.
Also highlighted my face with Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer to give that dewy glow.

Blush is Essence Oz the great and powerful collection Cream Blusher and Catrice Lip and Cheek Colour in Neo Geisha mixed together.

Lip colour is Catrice Pinkerbell and Majolica Majorca Honey Pump Gloss in PK130.

The eyeshadows are from RMK. RMK Jelly x Powder Eye Duo in Natural Coral Beige.

Tea Time : Etude House, Innisfree haul

There is a moment where swirled cream foundation pact is the IN thing in Korea.
Thanks to the Japanese brand SKII for releasing the cream-in foundation with skincare benefits, the cosmetics companies in Korea went all hu-ha and started to release their own version of the foundations. Some version with skincare benefits, some with sunscreen and some with highlighter.

I can't afford the SKII cream-in foundation at the moment, It's over RM200 and close to RM300, so I opted trying out the Korean brands' versions.

Etude House Collagen Moistfull BB Cream, Innisfree Mineral Melting Foundation, Etude House Baby Glow Balm, Etude House Look At My Eyes Cafe Eyeshadow in Potato Latte and Cafe Mocha.

I got two of the cream foundation, the rest are more like extra buys.

Etude House Collagen Moistfull BB Cream.

I quite like the Moistfull line from Etude House. The products from that line is quite good for the price.
So I thought that I should just pick up this product to try it out and to make my shipping all worthwhile.

Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer Baby Glow Balm.

I have been wanting this BB balm since they added on the Nymph Aura line because it looks pretty interesting.

It comes with a plastic seal and a puff.

The BB balm with swirls of the volumer.

To achieve the highly favoured Korean actress-glow.

Innisfree Mineral Melting Foundation

I got this after hearing about it from Sunnydahye from Youtube. She loves this foundation and I thought, it has gotta be good if she likes it so much.
This foundation has been reformulated a few times, the one that I got is the 'Glow' version.

This foundation also comes with a plastic seal to prevent the cream inside from drying up. There's also a puff for application.

The cream foundation comes with pink swirls of highlighter.

Look at My Eyes Cafe Eyeshadows in Cafe Mocha and Potato Latte.

I have always been eyeing on these eyeshadows but never got to getting them because of the highly jacked up price tag they have in my local Etude House.
So since the online shop carries them, for quite a reasonable price, I got these two colours.

Potato Latte, a grayish purple is said to be a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Heather. As most Kdrama fans know, Bobbi Brown Heather is popularised by the drama 'Nice Guy', where the female antagonist, Han Jae Hee from this drama has been sporting her smokey eye with this colour and nude lips.

Travel Diary : A Summer Escape - Penang Island (Malaysia)

My family decided to have a short holiday back in my mother's hometown in Penang Island.

It is just a short trip but we manage to visit some iconic places at the Island.

Batu Ferringhi Beach.

It is a famous beach area in Penang with lots of hotels and restaurant.
They is a lot of activity at this beach too, like parasailing, water ski, flying kites etc.

Don't expect to surf though because the waves are not very huge over here.

Strolling along the beach.

The Snake Temple

It is a temple filled with vipers but don't worry they don't harm.

Air Itam Dam

A short break along the Island journey with some tropical fruits.
There's a lot of durian trees along the Balik Pulau route.

The King of Fruits, Durian

Kek Lok Si Temple.

It is a well-known temple in Penang. In fact, it is one of the largest temple in Southeast Asia.

I was also able to try out many food in Penang Island, here are some food photos.

Kueh Chap

A broth of dark soy sauce with pig's intestine, pork and beancurd served with flat, broad rice sheets.

Penang Laksa. My favourite dish.

It is a sour fish-based broth served with thick rice noodles garnished with mint leaves, cucumbers, pineapples, lemongrass, prawn paste and torch ginger.

Popiah or Fresh Spring Rolls.

Jelly beans : Etude House & Innisfree

When the new Etude House Cotton Fit BB Cream and CC Cream came out, I knew I had to try it out. So then I immediately placed an order for them.
Along those two, I ordered another two items, one is Etude House Sweet Recipe line and the other is from Innisfree.

In this batch of haul, all together I got four items.

The Sweet Recipe Dear My Jelly Lips-talk, I got this because I gave in after seeing how it was heavily promoted by Etude House for this line.
Took me awhile to actually finally decided to get this lipstick because I didn't buy the whole Jelly beans inspired concept at first.

The packaging is the same as the Bright Fit version, just that the Cotton Fit comes in a white hue overall packaging.

The Cotton Fit is said to have a matte and powdery finish as compared to the Bright Fit which has a dewy finish.
An appropriate release for the summer season where the weather gets humid and everyone's skin gets oilier.

This the CC Cream in Glow version.

I haven't used the Glow version but I already did a review on the Silky version.

I really like the Etude House's BB & CC cream, it's simple yet cute.

The Sweet Recipe Dear My Jelly Lips-Talk.

Jelly beans!
This lipstick is jelly bean inspired.

The lipstick promises a moist feeling but vibrant colour.

It comes in 8 colours.

After looking for swatches and reading reviews about this lipstick, I finally settled for only one colour.

The colour I got is JPK003

The packaging is pretty cute too with a colour coded jelly bean ring.
I would say the packaging is a step down against the Dear My Blooming Lips-talk in terms of girly and cute factor.

JPK003 is a medium-toned blue pink.

It's a really cute colour.

This is the Innisfree in 07 that I originally ordered before placing another extra order accidentally.

What a bummer!

I should stop with these overwhelming hauls but then they are gonna stop soon as soon as I get booted back to the land of vodka and nuclear weapons where I do not have access to a lot of makeup product.

Gmarket haul #5

This Gmarket haul is somewhat overdue. I did this haul months ago but I didn't post about it.

I didn't pick up much stuffs from Gmarket, just two items.

MULE Foundcealer and Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB #02.

I was watching Hover from Hoversjelly and Liah from Yellowycream on Youtube, they were reviewing about MULE cosmetics and at that moment, I knew i have to get it. I am so impulsive when it comes to buying beauty products.

MULE is a brand started by renowned Korean makeup artist Jung Saem Mool who works with Kpop idols and actresses like BoA, Lee Hyori, Kim Tae Hee etc.

MULE Foundcealer.

Foundcealer is a cute wordplay of a cross between a foundation and concealer that Jung Saem Mool came up by herself.

Mine is the refill, i didn't want to pay too much for the casing but it works without the casing.
It leaked, I think someone accidentally pressed it.

The consistency of the foundcealer is very thick but very creamy! The coverage is definitely full.

Definitely for girls who has lots of blemishes, pimples, pigmentation to cover up. This product does it all, it doesn't need a concealer, how convenient.
Eventhough it is thick, it didn't feel heavy or cakey on my skin.

I accidentally ordered this, it is the Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB in 02.

I wanted 01 but I didn't know how did I clicked 02.
Anyway, later on I ordered 01. I think both fits my skintone but I will do a colour comparison on both of them soon.
It was on 30% off then.
Do check the Gmarket beauty calender to know when the sale for the brands go on. You might find some great deals.

Cherry Culture Haul : Jordana, NYX

It has been awhile since I had a American beauty haul. I ordered this quite some time ago via a spree from CherryCulture.com

http://www.cherryculture.com/index.php
There's a 20% off right now!

This site is a great site to get cheap and great cosmetics from brands like NYX, L.A. Colors, Jordana etc.
I love getting NYX from site comapred to getting from Sephora here because it is cheaper.

This time, I got two NYX Rouge Cream Blush. In, Orange and Boho Chic.
Also, four lipsticks from Jordana. I haven't seen these colours before this, it seems like they are new from the 'pinks' line.
Not a very big haul.

The cream blushes.

I absolutely love the cream blushes from NYX, not only they have a great variety of colours, they are also pigmented.
Cream blushes give a more dewy look compared to powder blushes which give a more matte look. This is the reason why girls who opt for the dewy look will tend to use cream blushes to finish off their look.

Orange just screams 'Orangeeee!'
It is a fun colour for the spring/summer season, it can also be a great colour for everyday use, it give a fresh look to the face.

Boho Chic is a pale pink with silver shimmers.
It is a very sweet colour.

I got four lipsticks from Jordana. The matte lipstick line are golden in colour whereas the normal line is in silver.

Pink Showstopper.
It is a bright barbie pink.

Blushed.
It is a rosy pink.

Sweet Sorbet.
It is a medium pink with shimmers!? Isn't this suppose to be a matte line, why is there shimmers?

Candied Pink is the only one that is not from the matte line.
The colour is almost like Pink Showstopper, a barbie pink.

That's all I got from Cherry Culture this time.
