Dreaming Rose

Finally got my first Bourjois blush which I have been eying for a long time.

I got mine in the colour #34 Rose D'or.

Here how the colour in the pan looks like under natural lighting.
It's a medium pink with an amount of gold shimmers.
Absolutely gorgeous.

It comes with a brush which I think is pretty useless and it is a little poky.
I would recommend you to use your own blush brush.

A swatch of the blush. Under natural lighting.
It is just only one swipe. Could you see how pigmented it is?
People said it is comparable to the Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush since Bourjois is the sister company of Chanel.
I do not how are they comparable since I haven't really tried the Chanel blushes except for swatching them. The only difference I have felt is, Chanel's blushes are softer to the touch.

I also heard these blushes harden over time. I guess you have to really take good care of it by not letting any sebum get on the powder or else, get ready to scrap of the top to be able to use it again!

It is definitely worth trying but not a must get.
It cost 369rubles (About USD13 and RM39)

My take on Essence.

Just a small loot and plus a little review about some Essense product.

Essense lash & brow gel mascara.

For me there's no point in getting an expensive clear mascara. Glad that I found this in the nearby beauty store.
It does tame unruly brows. I havent test its testing power since I just got it awhile ago.
This cost 109 rubles.

Now on to something I would fail.

Essense eyebrow designer in light brown.
It has shimmers. Who would want to have eyebrows with glitters and shimmers.
It didnt have tester so purchased without knowing the quality of it.
It doesn't have good staying power too, it dissapears upon rubbing.

A little swatch. You could see the shimmers.

Since it fails as an eyebrow pencil. I am gonna use it as an eyeliner and see how it works.
It cost 89 rubles.
Also, got a sharpener. Cost 61.50 rubles.
Left mine all the way back at home.
Pink and compact. Isn't it cute?

That's all I got from there. Next I am eying Bourjois.

Kare raisu.

Food of the day : Yasai to tori kare raisu.

Curry powder in Russia is really yellow and i have no idea why.

Since there's no curry blocks here, I have to do my curry from scratch.

Base :
Butter
Curry Powder
Shoyu
Sugar
Multi-purpose flour
Ketchup
Honey

Blooming secret

Style of the day, switched to a more spring style, light denim, denim headband, pastel colours but still sticking to jeans as wind is still so strong . Feels like sea breeze.
Pardon the sides, that's the only mirror in my hostel room
Top : Topshop
Jeans : Zara
Hairband : Chameleon

A mini loot from Diva, just rings.
It's on buy one free one, the large one is too big for me but still so pretty and the only price that matches the owl ring.

Owl ring on my finger. Actually this is loose too but there's no size small.

"Diamond" ring on my finger. Very big for my finger

On the side note, I finally settled for a Jill Stuart blush.
Instead of getting the Mix Blush I got the Blush Blossom. Reason being, it's more pigmented, it's in loose form, so I won't be reluctant to brush on the pretty surface and not use the blush.

It's also slighter cheaper than the Mix Blush from the dealer (it's a pre-order from Taiwan, Taiwan has the best price for Jill Stuart. ). Rm159 (USD52) compared to mix blush's RM169 (USD55). Pretty hefty for blush prices.

Here's how the Blush Blossom looks like.
The colour I settled for is Romantic Sweet Pea, the colour at the most left.

The packaging,
Comes with a free brush with a really cute bow attached to it.

I won't be able to take a proper picture and swatch them until I go back to Malaysia =(

This is what I call luck.

Surprise!
Lucky day!

My mum managed to snatch for me the last Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek in Strawberry Macaroon of the counter and this colour is the limited edition one.
Love you mama!

Can you see my mum holding the puff de cheek.
I am overjoyed.

Dilemma and more temptations

I saw a Malaysian-based online dealer that is dealing with Jill Stuart.
Previously she was dealing with with Candy Doll and Melliesh but she stopped. So sad!
and I convinced my mum that I might get this.

The price tag is really hefty at RM169 per blush.

I also wanted this but it seems that the colour I want is out of stock.
Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek.

So I might just get the Jill Stuart one and live a poor life.

Such a sucker for packagings.

What's your take on the Jill Stuart and Majolica Majorca blushes?

Wish List 3.18.11

Compiled branded makeup wishlist or to get list.

I have thought over a really long time to get all of these based on their packaging and reviews.

1) MAC powder blush in Pink Swoon
So far I only own one MAC blush which is Dame. Also, I left that in Malaysia.
The colour pay off is really good, they are considered reasonably priced compared to other high-end brands like Chanel, Shu Uemura etc.
I am a blushoholic.

2) Paul and Joe Face Powder duo
Pretty packaging and popsister models used to use this brand of face powder, I think it was the pressed powder N which I can't find on the site anymore, maybe discontinued?
Face shower and highlight in one same palette. Thumbs up from me.

3) YSL rouge volupte in #7
Just because I want it and Suzuki Aya uses it.

4) Shiseido Maquillage Rouge Enamel Glamour
Pretty colours, long lasting, Takei Emi is the ambassador.

So far this are the ones that I REALLY REALLY want. like MUST HAVE IT range.

A little update on super mini haul

Hauling temptation. I just bought two lip pencils from Cherry Culture eventhough I wont be seeing the goods until I go to back Malaysia in June or so. I hope even faster!
There's just no interesting and very few selections of makeup in Russia. The only brands I get interested in is just Bourjois and Max Factor. The rest? Bleh.

Even their skincare selection is so scarce. This is pretty sad.

Bought a few stuffs over the beauty store, really little.

First is this Retsenti babooshki Agafi cream for face.

I got so excited when I saw the first snow fall. Hoping winter would come fast so I could witness a winter wonderland.
As winter pass by, a lot of unpleasant things came. My skin on my face is cracking and peeling and I can't find an instant relief for it, not even the Hada Labo Hyaluronic range. It work if used long term but not an immediate relief for this dry winter in Russia.
Thus, I picked up this cheap cream. Cost around 20+rubles which is less than 1USD.
So far it is diminishing the cracks around a little but let's see how this thing keeps up.
It doesnt really have a scent, there's a really really faint fresh scent. It's good.

and also a lip balm. Not much lip balm selection despite being a cold land.
Just settle for this Nivea lipbalm. Milk and Honey scent.

That's all I got for this few weeks. Seriously there's nothing to hype me up to really haul.

Continuation of quake

Tonight I am following the Japanese news avidly.

So far I heard there's two aftershock tonight in Japan which the first one occurred at 9.14pm which was at magnitude 6.0.

Then another one at 11.36pm

I follow TBS and Yokosonews on Ustream.
Sanspo.com and TV Asahi.com
Foreign news are all outdated on information.

Tohoku Chiho Taiheiyo Oki Jishin.

I guess most of you had heard about the 東北地方太平洋沖地震 Tohoku Chiho Taiheiyo oki jishin. Or known as the 2011 Sendai Earthquake.

There's nothing much I could do but let's put our hands together and pray for the people in Japan, mainly the people in the Tohoku region.

Pink and Polka Dots

Has been awhile since I dress up.
It also has been awhile since I put on circle lens. The air has been too dry in Moscow that my eyes couldnt take the weather.
Lately it has gotten better, also my parents shipped me the Rohto C eyedrops which saved my eye.
Using the Super Barbie Sugar Candy series. Probably can't see them anyway.
Pardon the bare face look because I have no mood to do anything to my face with my awfully dry skin.

My OOTD.
Overlayer : Zara
Top : Topshop
Skirt : H&M
Leggings : Some random Chinese brand

Reason I am addicted to Jpop

People always ask me why am I so addicted to Jpop.
Here's my reason.
Jpop is something I can grow old with. When I was younger during my high school days, I listen mostly to boyband, well teeny boopers and catchy songs do catch us. I listen to sons without bothering understanding the meaning.

As I grew older, I start to divert from boybands, listening to rock bands (not Visual Kei type) and solo artist because I realize many of them have good lyrics, which actually make the song memorable. Well some artist and most rockbands are singers-songwriters, so when a singer sings a song which he/she composes, there's a different power in it. It is because the artist understands the lyrics and it came from the artist's heart. Does not apply to artist who does crappy lyrics. What's the point of listening to a catchy song when the lyrics is pointless. Maybe it could catch your ear at first, later it will get old and you won't bother about it anymore because there's nothing that makes it really memorable.

It's amazing how sometimes certain songs touches deep into me. Not lyrics like boys loses girl and goes berserk or teaching girls how to get boys with pretty makeup, pastel nails and gorgeous curls.

At the same time I also discover diversity, I can choose from a range of pop, rock, pop-opera, celtic, folk, enka, r&b etc. depending on what I feel like listening to.

That's the reason why I remained loyal to Jpop all these years.

After the outbreak.

After the fire incident now they are implying more rules. Damn them.
And they wanna do a check up tomorrow.
How am I suppose to clean up my cables in such a short time?
I can't even go to Ikea to buy a new extension.

To top up I have class until 6.10pm tomorrow, I wont make it in time to patch up everything.
