Fire outbreak

A fire broke out yesterday in my dorm at 3am. To make it worse, it started at my floor.

Since we were half dozed off, we didnt heard the start of it. Later on, we heard loud banging on our doors, as if hooligans were gonna dismantle our unit's door any moment. Well, I was too afraid to open the door because at first I thought it was a huge fight because the banging was accompanied by breaking of glass.

My brave unit mate who was the only not asleep bravely went to open the door. Then immediately awaken the half asleep me and my roommate and said there was a fire and we had to get out as fast as possible.

Me who still remembered the fire escape routine, was trying to save all my important documents and even my laptop and handphone but I was alerted, I suppose one of the student body, well the student president stays beside me if I am not mistaken, to forget all those things for now and just run down.

In the end, I just took a winter jacket, laptop and my handphone. I even forgot all about my spectacles.

It was like a nightmare in the corridor. Thick and choking smell of smoke, barely visible sight due to the thickness of the smoke and we ran down.

I had a moment of hypothermia downstairs, I was shivering quite badly. Thank goodness for a kind senior loaning a jacket to me. I ran with slippers in the snow and under subzero temperature to the next building .

It took about an hour plus or so to clear up the whole situation. No casualties and just only one room burnt down. The rest are all fine except everything smells like smoke now.

What an experience.

My take on Garnier Shampoos

I have finished off one bottle with this shampoo now I am using the 2nd bottle.

It is the Garnier shampoo. Not the Fructis line.

I hate Fructis. It made my hair feel so dry, like wheat!

Garnier Ultra Mild Shampoo (Not sure of the name, I googled it and it seems to be this)

Mine's in Mango and Gardenia. Smells so tropical. Reminds me of the beach and well, my country. Tropical country.

Fortunately this shampoo it is the other way around, the shampoo actually made my hair feel softer. The only grudge is the conditioner is a bit on the diluted side.

So more product is needed to see the effectiveness. As usual the conditioner will always deplete way before the shampoo.

The conditioner has already been used up, now I am trying the Herbal Essence conditioner. First time in my life trying Herbal Essence. Hope it works well.

Well, for me Pantene works the best of the brands I tried in Moscow but still Garnier is worth a try for the cheap price. About 30 rubles cheaper than Pantene.

So far up to now I only tried the Mango & Gardenia line and Avocado oil & Shea Butter line. I like the smell of the Mango & Gardenia line more.

Have been deciding on getting a new Candy Sugar School bag.

Currently I am using Candy Sugar School Bag also.

Just that it got a little dirty.

This is the current design I am using. I have been using it for 2 years or so.

I will review about it sometime later.

I am considering the one with pink strap.

First bento making!

Happy Valentine's Day.

A special course for today.

Kyaraben.

It's my first bento making. So start out simple first.

Reminds me when i go back to Malaysia, I gotta go to Daiso to get myself a nice bento box and also my hashi (my chopsticks)

Also my onigiri are rounded instead of the normal triangle shape. Couldn't get them into triangle shape. Such a failure.

The fillings are either ham, kani mayo or raw salmon.

I wouldn't recommend raw salmon as a filling if your weather is hot and humid. Try grilled salmon flakes instead to prevent it from turning bad.

On classes and packages and haul?

Today the temperature was -17 lowest.

Thick layer of snow. It is still snowing.

So the first week is finally done.

I finally know all my teachers for the 2nd semester. Most teacher remained the same but there's also some good and unpleasant changes.

I want my old biology teacher back.

My new bio teacher, he's a Russian medium teacher so when he taught us today. he finds it hard form sentence and he was so nervous.

I could see his hands shaking and him gripping so tightly to the chalk.

My parcel came a few days ago!

All my Asian brands stuffs except for Clearasil.

Hada Labo Hyaluronic acid +Arbutin moisturizing milk, Metholatum's Oxy moisturizer, Rohto C eyedrops.

I swear by Hada Labo's Hyaluronic acid range. It makes my skin feels so hydrated.

Sadly it's not available here in Russia.

There's lack of pimple creams here, it's either people here don't get pimple or they couldn't be bothered with it or I don't know how to read the labels.

Also conditioner buys. Syoss and Herbal Essense.

I am trying out all the brands here. Hopefully to find a brand that will save my hair from further splitting. =(

It has to be after the break. Well the temperature in Moscow just have to drop after the break.

This morning I woke up I was feeling a little cold, when to check on the temperature and it was -12degree celcius and throughout the week the temperature would be hitting at -20degree celcius lowest.

Also, it was snowing heavier than usual for the past two days.

Had my first Histology class on Wednesday.

The microscopes are older than expected, instead of a light source attached the microscope. They use white light and mirror.

Maybe it is greener this way and more economical.

We learnt only about stains for the first lesson, nothing much. Glad my teacher was not the rumoured devil who gives a hard time to students.
