A Very Happy Chinese New Year

Wishing a prosperous Chinese New Year to those who are celebrating it.

It is 3rd celebrating without my family, it feels really lonely not celebrating with the family.

My groupmates and I celebrated within ourselves.
Not a grand party, just a potluck.

Travel Diary : Day 2 in UK - Windsor

Day 2 , we were more prepared and nicely rested for the day.
We woke up really early to catch our coach in Victoria Coach Station for our tour.

Some area near the station. I am taking from inside my bus

My FOTD. My makeup is always really basic.

Welcome to Windsor!

Getting our tickets to go into the castle.

My ticket.

To the castle!

It is pretty windy in Winsor that day, thank goodness, I wore my beanie(which I lost) and my bubble jacket.

I can hardly open my eyes because of the strong wind.

Going to the Dolls House , Gallery and State Apartments.

Photography is forbidden inside. The dollhouse is really gorgeous although the dolls are tad spooky.
State Apartments, I can't help to be in awe with the gorgeous and majestic interior design.

Manage to run down to St. George's Chapel to witness the Guard Changing at 11am.

The band played Les Miserables' I dreamed a dream and One day more.

St. George's Chapel.

Outside the castle area. Windsor!

The guards matching from the castle to outside.

Funky 'telephone box'

Windsor Royal Shopping. I didn't shop here though

Day 2 is a long day, next stop was Wiltshire and Oxford.
Post will be continued with both places.

Primark haul

The first time stepping into Primark in Oxford Street was like heaven to me. Two floors worth of paradise.
Ofcourse I didn't leave the shop empty handed!

To the haul!

Pardon me there's no proper place to take photos of my items in this small crammed up hostel room.
So please bear with the mess.

First for the clothes.

A sleeveless lace top.

I do not like sleeveless because of my muffin top at my arm area but somehow this top just complements me really well.
It looks really sweet and elegant.

Skull top. Isn't something I would wear on an everyday basis but the design with the crystals really caught me.

A studded blue jumper.

I really wanted this jumper when I first saw it. Love at first sight?

The favourite of all my purchases a denim shirt with black mesh sleeves.

A eco bag with prints of famous landmarks of London.

A very cute ribbon makeup pouch.

It is very nicely made, very worth it for only  £3

Flower headband with studs and diamantes

This headband is so pretty! When I saw it, I just knew I had to get it.

It is just super pretty, it's sweet, elegant yet edgy.

Hair Mascaras.
Two pink and a blue. I am very into the ombre look and I want a way to achieve it without dying and damaging my poor hair.
I saw this near the small accessories section and I grabbed them, they are just  £1 each.

Embellish 3D manicure. This is a budget version of the Ciate Caviar Nail Polish.

I tried it on but the beads fall off fast, just in a matter of hours from doing some work.
Quite a disappointment but can't blame it, it is just  £2.50, maybe I applied it the wrong way, I am gonna try it again to see if it stays longer.

Travel Diary : Day 1 in UK :Logging in London & Chinatown

My first day in London. After checking into my hostel, we head down to China Town in Laicester Square.

The beautiful hostel - Palmer's Lounge at Swiss Cottage.

I do recommend this hostel if you are staying in London. The shared bathroom is really clean.
The beds are comfortable, there are also curtains for the bed for privacy.
Breakfast is great too. They have a coffee maker, juices, cereals, milk, toast and croissant.

Outside of Leicester Square Station

Roasted duck rice for dinner.
A pretty big portion.

Then we headed to M&M world.

So much love, so many colours.

We basically had a photo bombing spree in M&M world.
That's all we did on the first day since we arrived on the morning and by evening, we got pretty tired.

Next up I am gonna post my haul from Superdrug, I basically hauled like nobody's business.
But these brands I couldn't get my hands on them out of the UK.

Coral Craze

Using my trip as an excuse, I made myself buy lipsticks to use during the trip.
It is such a bad habit, I should be saving the money to use during the trip.

Anyway, here is what I got.
Two lipsticks, one from Innovation Make-up (Never heard of this brand before) and Catrice.

Lately, I have been into a coral orange craze. I have two coral orange colour lipstick that I didn't bring over and they are from Etude House.
I really want to use this colour during my trip after watching this tutorial thus I picked up these two lipsticks.

I really like JungSaemmool youtube channel's tutorials, perfect makeup inspiration for Asian like me.
Check the channel out.

The lipsticks are really really affordable and added on with discount, just go get it! They don't hurt the wallet at all.

Innovation's packaging is really plasticky, there's nothing very appealing about the packaging, not even the prints.
So, it's not a surprise that I went to the bazillion of times but I didn't notice the brand on the shelves. It doesn't help when they place the display in such a secluded place.

They printed the expiry date, that's a good thing.

It is a coral orange colour, the colour i want. It leans more to the milky side.
and the price is cheap! after discount it's less than 100rubles.

I am gonna insert a swatch here.

Catrice Lipstick.

The colour I got is 050 Princess Peach.

It's a pretty coral orange with more orange. It has the word Catrice engraved on the lipstick.

That's all I got from this mini buy, I will post a FOTD hopefully soon.
