Coral Craze

Using my trip as an excuse, I made myself buy lipsticks to use during the trip.

It is such a bad habit, I should be saving the money to use during the trip.

Anyway, here is what I got. 

Two lipsticks, one from Innovation Make-up (Never heard of this brand before) and Catrice.

Lately, I have been into a coral orange craze. I have two coral orange colour lipstick that I didn't bring over and they are from Etude House.  

I really want to use this colour during my trip after watching this tutorial thus I picked up these two lipsticks.

The lipsticks are really really affordable and added on with discount, just go get it! They don't hurt the wallet at all. 

Innovation's packaging is really plasticky, there's nothing very appealing about the packaging, not even the prints.
So, it's not a surprise that I went to the bazillion of times but I didn't notice the brand on the shelves. It doesn't help when they place the display in such a secluded place.

They printed the expiry date, that's a good thing.

It is a coral orange colour, the colour i want. It leans more to the milky side.
and the price is cheap! after discount it's less than 100rubles.

Catrice Lipstick.

The colour I got is 050 Princess Peach.

It's a pretty coral orange with more orange. It has the word Catrice engraved on the lipstick.

First Gmarket Haul

I have an exciting news! Parcel arrived today and yes! now all my G-market items are with me.

At first, Gmarket was kinda hard to navigate because I don't understand Hangeul. After playing around with the site, it's easy to get the hang of it but you have extra good mix and match ability.

From the 1st store, I got mostly samples.

I bought them from this seller over here. 

I got samples for History of Whoo Soo Yeon Essence, Hera Moist HD Foundation and Mamodo Total Solution BB.

I have always been really excited to try out History of Whoo's products because they have really good reviews in the Korean beauty community.

Hera's foundation is because of Hoversjelly recommendation and she mentioned it was one of her HG foundation. I trust most of her opinions. 

Mamonde Total Solution BB. The samples are huge! They are 30ml each and it is two bottles of samples each purchase, that's a whopping 60ml! 

That is as good as a full size gets and the price is such a bargain.

The seller is really fast. I ordered it at night, the next day, it is already on delivery to warehouse.

And I also got a small gift from the seller.

The next seller is Mizon. 

Mizon is known for their budget skincare and cosmetics at a great , affordable price. 

Snail products have been a craze in Korea. I have thought of trying some snail products but some are just too pricey for me to try out because if I don't like it, it is gonna be a total waste of money. Then I found out Mizon and the price of their snail cream is affordable.

This the Snail BB. The most affordable amongst all I've seen on Gmarket. 

I have been very eager to try out a snail BB since I saw it in my local it's skin store but because it is not that cheap, I didn't get it on the spot.

VOV foundation in 21 and PeriPera's Peri's Tint Water in 01 Cherry Juice and 02 Pink Juice

The PeriPera water tint is totally adorable! The artwork on the box and lid is by Mari Kim.

Lately, I am really into lip tints because they are so easy to use and you don't really need to touch them up after eating or drinking.
The only downside is they can be drying but a lipbalm or gloss can always solve that.

The VOV foundation. I bought the wrong one. I wanted the watershot foundation, I checked back my selection on my overseas order and yes, I chose the wrong selection, so now I am stuck with the normal foundation but doesn't harm, I still can use it, just that, such a bummer!

I am really satisfied with my first Gmarket haul. Their service was really good and everything got post out fast for this batch.
The parcel arrived my house in 2 days from S.Korea to Malaysia. It better be, because I paid a hefty price for EMS, almost USD20.
It is better to buy more or share with friends for shipping.

I bought 2 pieces of jumpers which I am going to continue in the next few posts.

Foodie life!

I had one week off and bless Mother Russia because it is so hard to get breaks here and I just need a rest.

I hate studying, I just need time to enjoy myself and slack.

I had sushi during the break from my favourite Japanese restaurant over here, Tanuki.
If you ever come visit Russia, this is the affordable  Japanese restaurant I recommend.

EOTD.
My EOTD have been the same for these few days, I didn't switch the technique, only the eyeshadows.
This time I used Maybelline Color Tattoo in Infinite White for my lower lashline.
I am really liking the Maybelline Color Tattoo, they stay put so well and don't budge at all! I won't write a lengthy review for this since there are probably many beauty bloggers who did them.

Now it is back to classes and normal life. Sad.
Can't wait for the short winter break. I am going travelling!

Acne update #2

It has been a month ago since I posted on my acne, now I am gonna update more on it.

Since I had my acne I tried many ways, regime and routines to get rid of it.
And, I think the most effective way for me, personally, is the potent benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid and benzoic acid, also, not picking/touching the acne.

This is my current skin condition. Most of the acne has gone and now I am left with tiny pimples and major scarring which is hard to get rid of.
I left my Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil at home, so now I am using TheBodyShop's Vitamin E Facial oil with hopes to fasten the fading of the scars.

All these helped me get rid most of my acne.

Yes, just like what the picture shown. Another tiny skincare buy.

Eversince my skin gone bad, I have been really into trying out skincare. 

p.s. Sorry for the bad lighting, the plastic layer is reflecting my table lamp really badly. 

L'oreal Youth Code Luminize serum and L'oreal Triple Active Glow.

Lately, I am all for the luminous skin since my skin is really dry. While trying the tester, I like the texture of this product, it is light, grease-less and has a pleasant light scent. 

The packaging of this product is simple and classy.

Since it claims to even skin tone to reveal the skin's natural glow, I am really hoping it fades my acne scaring. 

So far I used it twice, I really like it because it sort of brightens my look. 

L'oreal Triple Active Glow Moisturizer. 

It is not like your typical moisturizer, it is peachy-pink in colour and you can see tiny gold flecks. 

It really works in brightening (and moisturizing!) the skin but not look like a glitter bomb, also I don't recommend this for oily skin people to avoid looking too shiny.

New year + FOTD

New Year Eve EOTD

The natural-style highlighted eyemakeup. 

After lots of experimenting with eye makeup, I feel this style complements my eye the most. 

Only 3 products are used : Physician Formula Gel Eyeliner, Essence Stay All Day Long Eyeshadow in For Fairies and Maybelline mascara.

Products used : Handmade makeup base, Garnier BB Cream, Missha The Style concealer, Garnier 2 in 1 corrector, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer #1, ELF blush in Innocence, Nivea Lip Balm, Etude House Dear Darling Lip Tint

After a few hours, the makeup did stay on well except the concealer did fade away a little.

You can my ugly acne scarings and huge pimple at my chin (thank goodness it has shrunk)

I am pretty satisfied with my current makeup look.
