TheBodyShop sale buy

TheBodyShop in Moscow has a massive sale going on with products ranging from 20% off to 60% off.
They had a 40% offer on their body mist and fragrance range. Since the deal was really good, I ended up picking a body mist.

Amazonian Wild Lily

I really like the scent of this body mist. It is very fresh and floral. I am terrible at describing scents. So, if you pop into the shop, please take a sniff to try out the scent.
Anyway, this scent makes you feel alive and fresh. Just reminds me of nature.
Picking up with 40% off, it is such a steal.

If you live in Russia, check out the website for the deals.

Yves Rocher New Year edition haul

Yves Rocher is a great French brand with affordable beauty brand that has many hidden gems. I have been using their products for the past year and I would say they are a bang for their prices.

Every Christmas season, Yves Rocher will release a limited edition range of bath and body items.
This year, I did pick up a lot of items from the Christmas limited.

Lots of handcreams.
I really love Yves Rocher's hand cream. I find them to work really well on me on this dry weather.
I got five tubes which seems kind of excessive but they are all not mine, The flavours I picked up is the Blueberry and Cocoa & Orange. The only flavour I did not pick up is the Raspberry because it smelt so artificial and just not pleasing at all.
My favourite scent has to be the Cocoa & Orange because I just everything Cocoa, Chocolate, Vanilla. Those scents and in between.

I haven't mention about Yves Rocher lipbalms at all but they are just so amazing. I picked up two from the last Christmas limited, it was the Raspberry and Cocoa . I love the texture of the lipbalm they are so nourishing, they give a very nice sensation on the lips, I could hardly able to describe it , you could actually feel the lipbalm working the lips upon application, moisturizing them and but you do not feel them on sit the lips at all, they don't leave a layer on the lips. You know how we dislike the feeling of lipbalm sitting on the lips, like there is a layer of oil or grease on the lips. This feels light on the lips.
Since I so love them, this time I picked up two again from the Christmas limited but in Blackberry. The Blackberry comes in a purplish-pink tint. Really beautiful, very winter shade. I haven't came across lipbalms that are in this colour. Usually they are either pink, red or peach. So I just have to get them and ofcourse two of them because I am a hoarder. Well, I go through lipbalms really fast.

The gem of this haul is a Eau de Toilette. With this, Yves Rocher has probably created the best scent that has come from them. I never like Yves Rocher Eau de Toilette, I don't find them to smell good at all. This, is the whole different story. You could see that I got two bottles, this proves how amazing it smells. The Pear Caramel scent is just so lovely. It is sweet and refreshing at the same time. The scent isn't too strong, it is very light.
It last quite long on the body which is pretty surprising. Usually these type of Eau de Toilette do fade away mid-day. I am just quite sad that this is a limited edition.

A walk in the park

It has been a great weather yesterday with lots of sunshine and temperate weather at 15 degree celcius.

I went out for a stroll since I have 4 days off.
I went for a stroll at GUM, Red Square. They were prepping up the square for the 9th of May Victory Day celebration.

I stopped by Stolovaya 57 for a quick lunch.
It is a soviet style cafeteria that offers budget Russian food at the top floor of GUM. The concept is you take your own try and choose your starters, main course meal, soups, side dishes and desserts.
The price is not exactly the cheapest for cafeteria food but definitely very affordable if you are finding a budget eat out in the heart of Red Sqaure.

This is my meal.
Chicken salad with prunes, Buckwheat with mushrooms and meatballs and Vatrushka ( Bread with cottage cheese filling)

It is a very satisfying lunch, I couldn't even finish all I ordered and even shared my portion.

After lunch, we headed to the park in Sokolniki.
There's so many activities going on in the park and there's a lot of food there too.

I saw a group of old grannies and gramps having their own ballroom dance, it's fun to see the old folks having a fun time.
There was even a small bazaar in the park selling various honeys, pirogs, pirozhkis, rulets, all mainly Russian cuisines. There were even Mochi Sweets, which is extremely overpriced compared to the price in Malaysia and also Indian cuisine cooked by Indians.

A selfie of the day.

My makeup for that day is pretty subtle. I am using my Laneige BB Cushion topped with my MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural.
Lipstick is Maybelline Popstick in Tropical Pink. I am so sad this has been discontinued because I really enjoy this lipstick. Everyone says it is rubbish but surprisingly it gives me a lot of colour on my lips, maybe it is because I got pale lips.

Look at greenery behind me. I love the colour of Spring. The leaves are in such a fresh green colour.
Unfortunately the leaves are going to turn into a mature green soon. So enjoy the fresh green before its gone.

Also, I finally stopped by The Body Shop to pick up the Honeymania Eau de Toilette which I have been lemming after so badly.
There's a 40% off for the Honeymania line which is great.
This eau de toilette is such a great steal.

I am so happy with this purchase because I really love the scent of this perfume.
I am going to smell like floral honey after this.

Perfume haul + Life

I am going back to my mother's hometown tomorrow, so I won't be posting anyone for the next 2 days.

I am not the type of person who post about my music choices but I have been so obsessed with this song, the PV, the visuals, the dance.
Everything is so perfect!

I am always the one buying fragrances but in the end I don't use them much and I let my mum use them up.
My mum has like free supply of perfume for life.
When I was in Australia, my friend took me to My Chemist and she told me the perfumes are really cheap there.

The price is definitely cheaper than where I live.

So I didn't hesitate picking up two bottles of perfumes.

I got the Britney Spears' Curious and Lady Gaga Fame

I am bad at describing the scent of perfumes so I won't try.
All I remembered that is the Lady Gaga smells great and Britney Spears' was so cheap that I just bought it.

The Lady Gaga's perfume is a unique one, the liquid in the bottle is black but it sprays transparent.

The bottle screams Lady Gaga.

Wonderstruck!

I haven't post about eventhough I had this for quite some time.
This. I asked my friend's aunt to get for me all the way from the US since it wasn't available in Malaysia at the time of purchase.

The Taylor Swift Wonderstruck perfume.
I got blown away by the packaging, that's why I got it. It is a bonus that it smells great.

When you open the box, you can see the pretty cap detail and dangling ornaments.

Everything about this perfume is just so perfect.
It is so fantasy-like.

Spring is here!

Yesterday Stokmann had a huge sales.
The crowd was just magnifique! Anyways, I manage to pick up a perfume I have been wanting for awhile up.

Paco Rabanne's Lady Million
The picture features the purchase I did today and yesterday.
The gold packaging of Lady Million is irresistible.

The diamond cut and the gold is just to classy and elegant.
The scent is for a lady of class at a french restaurant with her champagne drink. Very mature and slightly spicy.
I bought the 30ml bottle so it is slightly different in terms of packaging compared to the full size.

I saw something really interesting in the beauty store today.

The L'oreal Infaillible eyeshadow.
This product not available in my country so I am excited to see it here. It is easier to buy it here than ordering all the way from the USA.

I picked up two colours. Burning Black and Sahara Treasure.
They come in 3.5g of products.

Burning Black - A black with a lot of purple shimmers.
Sahara Treasure - A shimmery sandy brown.

Sahara Treasure.
This one is a bit unique, instead of being named L'oreal Infaillible. This one is is La Couleur Infaillible.
It seems like L'oreal can't stick one name to their product.
I checked and it seems it is a Europe limited colour and it is not available in the US.

Burning Black.

I can't wait to use them. I swatched them a little and it seems to be really pigmented and soft.

The last thing I picked up from the beauty store is Vivienne Sabo's lipbalm.
Just the same old repurchase.

Spring is finally here in Moscow. Snow has melt away which makes me more into the mood of walking.

I might be heading to a spring festival in Arbat street tomorrow - Dreamflash. It is sorta like a bubble festival.
The weather forecasted thunder storm tomorrow but I really hope there won't be a thunder storm.
So excited but I still hope everything goes on smoothly there with the massive amount of people.

I have a new obsession. That is
Sayoko Ozaki .
drop dead gorgeous.

Sayoko Ozaki. Ain't she so pretty?
Her eye makeup is to die for.

Mask loot!

I was talking about the harsh weather in the previous post. It ain't gonna stop there.
Today it hit -20+ degree celcius again. I really hope tonight doesn't go down to -26 degree celcius as forecasted.

Here is my mask loot!
I love paper mask like all the Asians do.

Vilenta mask with moisturizer cream
Vilenta is a Russian brand. So far I have tried a few of their masks. It is not too bad.
I bought their Coral mask, Olive Oil mask and 100% Collagen mask.

SkinLite mask. SkinLite is a Korean Brand.
I like SkinLite masks more than Vilenta's.
I bought their Collagen+Vitamin B&E mask, Cucumber mask, Lavender mask, Q10 mask, Arbutin Tropical Fruit mask, Collagen Tropical Fruit mask, Sakura mask, Bamboo mask and Green Tea mask.
Can't wait to try all of them.

SkinLite pulp mask edition. More expensive than their normal mask but the quality of the mask is better.
I bought Age Defying Collagen Mask, Nourishing Chocolate mask and Vital Nourishing Red Ginseng Mask.
The packaging is so cute!!

I took advantage of the perfume sale at L'etoile.
Got my Lanvin's Jeanne perfume. I love Lanvin's perfume.

Also I dyed my hair again. This time a darker colour.
My skin condition has improved lots after taking more care.
Vivienne Sabo's foundation helped too, it really looks good on camera.

something extra. Homemade Curry Soba.
Japanese curry is the best!

Here again + airport.

I have arrived in Moscow after a very long flight journey and transit in Dubai.
Well, my room is in its worst condition and I won't be posting frequently until I settle down cleaning up my room and other personal things.

Okay, here I have an OOTD which I forgot to post. It is taken almost at the end of my holidays.
Very Liz Lisa style. Sadly I didn't bring my can can hat over here since my luggage is overweight and the hat is kinda space consuming.
I love this hat a lot.

Also, I have some photos taken at the Dubai airport.
Not many since after that I was so busy running from one duty free shop to another.

Outside of the airport, the humidity and the temperature was a killer at 7.30 am.
When I arrived at 5 + plus am, the temperature at Dubai was 36 degrees celcius.

Duty free area =)

This is what i got from the duty free shop.
A bottle of perfume.

Lanvin's Marry me!
Smells so good and sweet. My favourite type of scent.
Actually I thought of getting the Britney Spear's Midnight Fantasy too but I don't know why I didnt got it. Maybe the next round when I stop at a duty free shop.

Lovely classy bottle.

Play it!

I picked up Playboy's new line of woman fragrance in Play it Lovely during my transit.
It comes in 30ml for USD10.

There are 3 different types of fragrance in this line. Play it Lovely, Play it Sexy and Play it Spicy.
I haven't really smelt the other lines.
For play it lovely. It has a really sweet scent which I like. It's not sweetly sickening like how I find Britney Spear's perfumes are.
I don't know how to describe the scent since I do not know much about scents and perfumes.

Upon applying it last quite awhile long enough for me but not too long. About 7 hours or so.
Pretty good for its price.

and also a camwhore picture. This picture has been taken quite awhile ago but I never found the appropriate time to post it.

A close up shot of the eye make up could be seen in this post.

Just some extra infomation.

mini buys : perfume, sunglass

This is what I have been having for my breakfast daily.
Chocolate milk and cereal. I hate plain milk.

A lovely cheap perfume by for June, well Summer.
Just for me to spray it around everywhere...
I like the fact it smells very sweet. A sweet floral smell that is not too overbearing.
Since it is cheap, i dont mind spraying more and everywhere.
It was only 78roubles.

Since it has been so sunny that I could hardly open my eyes outdoors.
I got myself a pair of singlasses.
Just a normal sunglasses with big frames. I realize this type of sunglasses suit me the most.
The Ray Ban style ones look really off on me.

a cute heart shape J.

Jewelry haul #1

I have a jewelry haul. I got them from Diva.
Diva is an accessory line mainly aimed to teenagers. The price range is around middle range. Quality wise is middle, you get what you pay for.

I just got a few pieces here and there to wear it for Spring. Yes. It is finally officially Spring in Russia. Temperature has finally gone to the bearable stage.

A layered gold chain with pearls and a small bird charm.
I find this really chic and cute yet simple. Not too overbearing.
Matches all types of clothes.

A set of bangles. I bought this because it came with rose tinged bronze.
I find the colour pretty unique and ofcourse cute. We like rose tinged bronze dont we.

a set of rings. Really cute. I am really into simple yet chic jewelry.

simple yet elegant thin silver ring.
I fell in love with this upon seeing it. Looks a little like an engagement ring though.

Also I forgot to add this on my previous post.
I got a sample of this perfume. I am gonna review it soon.

Collective haul #1

I have a haul. It is a collective haul. I didnt get all this things one shot.

Since spring's here. I got myself a new ballet flats. They are pretty cheap. 210roubles or so.
It's gold. I like the little bow right there. Makes it look super girlie and cute!

Then since Stokmann was on sale. I pick up 2 bottles of perfumes.
One is for my mum thus I didnt open the packaging.
Nina for Nina Ricci and Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy.
Nina Ricci's is for my mum.
They are just the 30ml size one.

I got myself the Viva La Juicy because I heard many raves about it and when I was in the shop, I tested it and I love the smell.

The bottle is pretty cute too. I like the detailing and also the pink ribbon.
A closer look at the nice icon detailing.

Then I went to the beauty supply store and picked up a cleanser and cleansing milk
Lumene brightening cream cleanser and some Russian brand cleansing milk.
A review will come up soon.

I pick up also 2 Maybelline foundation.
The Maybelline Dream Creamy foundation which also the Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse in the US. This foundation claims to be super moisturizing.

It comes in a not so conventional packaging where the sponge is at the top lid and you have to screw open the lid to get the product. I find it really troublesome and space consuming.
My shade is 08 Light Beige. I heard in UK they only offer 5 shades where 04 Light Porcelain is too light for a NC20 and 21 Nude is too dark. For me, 08 is just nice.

The texture is really creamy.

I have already used this product. I am gonna throw a short review here.
The coverage for this foundation is light to medium. I dont recommend to layer on, it will turn cakey. I use ELF powder brush to apply this foundation and it creates a nice finish.
Moisturizing? This foundation is definitely not close to foundation. There's still cakey-ness at the dry spots on my face.

On my face.

This foundation is not really long lasting. It stays on my face about 4-5 hours then it is completely gone even with powder on top.
Not a bad foundation but definitely not one I would recommend from drugstores.
Retails 369roubles or so.

Maybelline Affintone 24H foundation. I think this is the equivalent to the Superstay 24H.
At first when I bought it, I picked up the wrong shade 21 medium beige which was 2-3 shades darker than my shade.
Then I went back again this time to pick up the right shade. I was actually thinking on getting either 05 light beige and 10 natural beige.
Light beige was a little too pink but Natural beige was too yellow! Ofcourse I would pick up the pinker one since it was not too bad on my skin compared to yellow.
I havent tried this foundation yet but I am excited to try it.
It retails 349roubles.

Today I visited the MAC store and I picked up a lip colour.
This colour goes so well with my skintone. It complements real well.
I love it so much!

It is in Speed Dial.

I tried 4 pinks in the store. Speed Dial, Snob, St. Germain and Viva Glam Gaga.
Speed Dial looks the prettiest on me.

Then I walked into Douglas Rivoli. They were having a sale. Marked down on cosmetics like Guerlain, Dior, Lancome and YSL.

and I picked up my first high-end eyeshadow palette. Oh so excited!

The Dior 5 colour iridescent eyeshadow.

Fuzkittie loves it so I have to try it and I am also looking for a good eyeshadow.
My cheapie eyeshadow just has too many fallout and chalky, yada yada.

Comes in a pretty velvet pouch. I love makeup with velvet pouches. Prevents the packaging from getting scratched.

\
Oh so shiny~~

Pretty colours!
This is in Ready to Glow. When I swatched the eyeshadow in the store. So smooth and buttery.
Too lovely.

It retails usually at 2000++ roubles. Really overpriced.
It got cut down to 1588roubles (USD56), cheaper by $2 in Sephora.

Still it's good.
That's all or the haul.
