Aliexpress haul #5

I did another Aliexpress haul but this time around the haul isn't big.

I picked up two boxes of lashes and some flash tattoo.

Holiday season is here, it's time to have fun and try out some flash tattoo. I know they are like the hottest thing last summer, I am just very late on the bandwagon.

They came really crumpled but thank goodness nothing happened to the tattoos.
I paid really cheap for them, if I am not wrong less than a dollar each.
I really like the dream catcher design. Also, turquoise and gold look really good together. Maybe it is just me but turquoise and gold just reminds me so much of Greece. It might just the bracelet I got from Greece. It's turquoise and gold.

I bought two boxes of lashes.
I bought the same design awhile ago and I really love them. These lashes are really natural and beautiful, they look like my lashes but better (is there a term like this or I just made it up). The previous one, I got them in a black band and I don't really like the black band too much, so, I went back to get the clear ones.
These are 8mm long, they are great for Asian eyes. They are just the perfect length.
I have tried the 10mm ones, I find them too long if I go for a more natural makeup look but these, they will look good with minimal makeup too.

That's all I got for this time around.It's pretty tiny. I will have another round of Aliexpress items coming to me. 

Aliexpress haul #4

Right now, I don't believe in spending lots of money in brushes. Maybe someday, when I have the extra cash to splurge I would start spending on makeup brushes of MAC, Hakuhodo etc.

Aliexpress has many brush selections for a very affordable price.I thought this is the right place to try out as many brushes as possible. I have purchased quite a number of brushes since I need to change my brushes. My current set of brushes has been around for way too long, they need to retire like right now.

I got a highlighter brush, oval brush and two contour brushes.
Among these four brushes I have been loving the contour brushes, they are so dense and soft. They made applying contour so easy. They have been my staple contour brushes.
The oval brush is okay, I have not been reaching for it for my foundation routine. I have been reaching for the Real Technique Miracle Complexion Sponge and Beauty Blender for my foundation and concealer application.
The bristle feels a little plastic-like and for certain foundations, it applies the foundation slightly streaky and you definitely need to work with it. This is the reason I do not reach out for it often.
The highlighter brush is a little scratchy but it does the job.

The eye brushes are too big for my Asian eyes. I need to find other ways to use them. The only usable brush is the brush at the most right. It is a nice pencil eye brush. Perfect for blending.
The complexion brushes is a little small, even so, they are still great.

I also purchased the replica for the Zoeva brushes.
I love the colour, the rose gold, it is just so elegant.
Zoeva is not ground breakingly expensive, why I purchased the replica? I wanted to buy the original Zoeva rose gold brushes but the mark up at my local Sephora is outrageous. When I visited Germany they only had the basic line in stores and the only way I could purchase the Rose Gold edition is through the official Zoeva website. International shipping can be slightly pricey and it is better value when purchased in bulk. I am still saving up items to purchase together and also money to purchase the original brushes. For now the replicas will do me good.

Aliexpress haul #3

I am back with another Aliexpress haul. This time around I did not just pick up only makeup items but lots of other miscellaneous items.

From the previous Aliexpress haul post, one would know that how much I dislike the Anastasia Beverly Hills replica.
These are not the replica despite looking similar to it. It is the Anastasla Dragon liquid lipstick, kinda like a rip off . I like the shade selection of these much more compared to the original replica.
There were much more nude selections.

I picked up 3 shades, from left : #2, #14 and #13

I like this formulation way much better. They do not get as crumbly or patchy on the lips. They are 200 times better than the replica Anastasia Beverly Hills. Still you get what you pay more. They can be slightly tacky as they dry but for me, the tackiness is quite unnoticeable. If it bothers you, you can always set it with translucent powder to get the tackiness off.
I will say the formulation is even better than brands like ahemGerardCosmeticsahem.

I love the shades from this line. They are so pretty.

Mink eyelashes.
I doubt they are really made out of mink but the quality and style of eyelashes are beautiful. I got these lashes mainly because I will have a few functions to attend and I just wanted incorporate some eyelashes into my look.

The Kylie Liquid Lipstick replica in Posie K.

I got it together with my replica Kylie Liquid Lipstick in Candy K but this arrived much later.

Suede tie choker.

It is much cheaper to get these choker from Aliexpress. I just did not want to spend so much money getting one from Lovisa or Diva.

Marie Beauty Eye Cream

I have been using this glue for the longest time for my false eyelashes. It is literally the super glue for makeup. Once it is on, it is really on. It doesn't budge or move. I have tried so many other false eyelash glue and it still come back to this glue.
I have been really loyal to this glue eversince I started wearing false eyelash circa 2011. It saves me from falsies mishaps, it is just that strong. At the same time it is really easy to remove. Also, it is so affordable.

Aliexpress haul #2

Curiosity kills the cat.
Before anyone starts lecturing me on the items I have purchased, I know that most items I have purchased from aliexpress are replicas/fakes but I couldn't help with the price tag.
I am willing to be the guinea pig to see how good are these products for the price.

These are the Lime Crime replica except for the one that is printed with Lipgloss, it is from a brand called Dragon. The packaging just looks so much like the Lime Crime.

I do not know how true to colour these are compared to the original since I do not own these shades.
Anyway, the replicas have a decent formula. They are very light but still go on tacky. Translucent powder always the saviour for toning down the tackiness. They have a nice scent too.
The shades I own do not go on streaky at all. They are pretty drying though, just remember to prime and prep your lips.

I do not like the formula of these at all and these two are very different in formula. Blush is a medium pink. It applies ok but it will turn up cracking and patchy after drying down. It is still wearable but you have to work with it. Just apply a thin coat and do not build it up.
Pure Hollywood is a neon peach and it is pure rubbish. This one smells like perfume overload and it is super streaky and patchy. There's no way of making it work.Off to the bin it goes.

M.n Liquid Lipstick and Danimer Liquid Lipstick.

These are so cheap, I have bought them before, you can refer from my previous haul and they are good liquid lipsticks for the price tag. It can be a little sticky but it can be solved with setting it with setting powder.

Qibest Soft Matte Lip Cream in 620 and NVX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 05

They are light and nice liquid lipsticks, I enjoy the shades. They do crumble throughout the day but not very major crumbling. I do stay well if you don't eat.

M.n Powdery Matte Kiss Proof Soft Lipstick in #15.
The shade is undeniably beautiful, it is a dusty nude pink. Just that this lipstick really tugs during application and it is tacky. On the lips, it doesn't budge at all and it crumbles throughout the day. Since the shade I own leans to nude, the crumbling is not obvious unless someone comes really close to your lips. I will continue using it because I love the shade so much, if not the formula is pretty meh.

I have to got to admit that I got caught up with the whole transparent lipstick with flower beautiful lipstick thing that I got one for myself.

Yes, you can see the flower in the lipstick.
On the lips, this lipstick shade will suit to the pH and warmth of your skin and turn into a lovely natural pink.

Pony Memebox Lipstick in #4

The quality of this lipstick and its packaging is really great.
It is a sheer type lip colour, it is moisturizing and smooth upon application and it leaves a beautiful sheer pink on the lips.

I couldn't resist getting these replica Kylie liquid lipstick. I purchased the one that comes with only the liquid lipstick because I don't think I need the lipliner and it is much cheaper to purchase without the lipliner.
The shade I got is Candy K, I do not know how true to colour these are since I do not own Candy K
I have not tried this liquid lipstick yet, I will get back in a FOTD when I got to try it.

I have a few more aliexpress items coming in but they are mostly accessories and others and will be posting about as soon they arrive my doorstep.

Aliexpress haul : M.now long lasting lipgloss

My first makeup haul from Aliexpress. A dozen of M.Now Long Lasting Lipgloss. 

I am a bit skeptical about buying cosmetics of unknown brands online because well you just doubt the quality.

I have always wanted the Lime Crime Velvetines in Cashmere. As many have known or if you don't you can google it, Lime Crime had a scandal which made me refrain ordering from Lime Crime. Also, the Velvetines are USD20 which is quite pricey for what it actually is. 

I did some research regarding the dupes and found a dupe for the Velvetine limecrime. The M.Now Long Lasting Lipgloss in 18 is close dupe for Cashmere.
Me being me, instead of just getting one colour which is the Cashmere dupe, I got a dozen.
The prices of these lipglosses is very cheap, they can go as low as 80cents to USD1.50 for each of the lipglosses depending on seller. There are quite a number of reviews of this product on youtube and blogs. So i could read through reviews on them and see swatches of them before purchasing it. 

Also, this product shouldn't be called lipgloss, it leans more like a matte lipcream texture, consistency and texture wise, it is comparable to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream.

Surprisingly for the price I paid for these lipglosses. The quality is really good for the price. Packaging isn't all pretty or fancy but you cant ask for more for the price.

Without realizing, It looks like I have mostly chosen neutral and everyday shades.

The communication with this seller is great. I got my items in 3 weeks or so which isn't too shabby considering the item is being shipped to Russia which shipping takes forever and they came packaged nicely in a box, not damaged in any form or way.

Aliexpress haul : False eyelashes.

I heard many things about this website Aliexpress but never tried it out until of late. I have been searching for affordable dresses for the summer since I am not going back home this year to stockpile my clothes stock.
While browsing Aliexpress I bumped into their makeup section, The makeup section offer a selection of makeup products and also false eyelashes. The false eyelashes design look really pretty online and the price is so affordable. I couldn't resist the temptation and I ordered a few.

I can't remember how many sets I have ordered but for now only two sets have arrived. I haven't check the rest with the post office yet.

The seller sent out my package fast, in about 2 days and I received the items two weeks later, which is considered fast on registered mail standard.

This Yu Er Gong Zhu lashes design is very beautiful. They do not have a name or style name, I will just leave the link below.
It is a whispy style criss cross lashes.

They are made out of synthetic fibers but they still look natural and not plastic-like. The only downside would be they do feel plastic-like which is not too pleasant to touch but on the eyes, I don't think it bothers that much. Anyway, they are so cheap, so if they do not work out, just dump them aside. They are USD1.5 for a set of 5 pairs. A great deal.

This set of lashes does not have a brand name. The style is Z-1.

The quality is the same as Yu Er Gong Zhu's. It is also a beautiful set of eyelashes. It also comes in a clear band which can make it hard for first timers to apply since it is flimsy.
This design leans to more doll-like. More suited for a dolly makeup look.
