KLIA - Malaysian Airport Haul

In Malaysia, you could not find YSL makeup counters and the one and only counter is available in the terminal of the international airport. Which is kind of sad because it is not easily accessible at all.
I have the chance to fly in and fly out Malaysia once a year, this time I took the chance and picked up some items from the counter.

I picked up three items from the counter. It does look little but it doesn't cost as little as it looks.

The gold light reflecting packaging makes it so hard to take a good photo of the items. In real life, the packaging is really luxurious and pretty looking though. Just that it doesn't go well with photography.

Yves Saint Laurant Rouge Pur Couture Vernis A Levres Glossy Stain in 2 Brun Glace

I didn't mean to pick up this item at all. I was suppose to pick up the YSL Kiss and Blush in 2 Rose Frivole.
The sales lady took the wrong item for me and since I was in a hurry,  I didn't realize until I was in the plane. What a big mistake she made.

This glossy stain is a brick brown colour, this colour has a vintage feel to it. It is not a colour that I would use on a frequent basis. Since I got and it is expensive, I would find ways to pull off this colour. I feel it would look good against my fair skin and brighten up my skin immediately.

The next item I got is the Gloss Bolupte Pure in 202 Rose Jersey.
Actually what drew me to get this product is its packaging. So beautiful. I always love YSL's luxurious and beautiful packagings.
I am not into shimmers, glitters in my gloss, so, I settled for the Pure range which are cream finishes.

Don't you just love the packaging. YSL never failed me with their packagings.
I am just sad that do not an extensive colour collection for their pure finishes. I think there's about four pure finishes in the collection and only one pink.
You know my love for pinks, if they release more pure finishes in various shades of pinks, I would have pick more of the Gloss Volupte for myself. Now, I will just settle for one.

202 Rose Jersey is a beautiful baby pink.
The glosses are a little on the sheer side, if you do not have pigmented lips, there will be colour pay off. They make good layering lipglosses.

Ofcourse, I save the best for the last.
The Rouge Volupte Lipsticks has always been on my wishlist for the longest time. I have seen and heard so much about this lipsticks.
What drew me again, is definitely the packaging. I would say that the Rouge Volupte packaging is definitely the prettiest lipstick packaging ever exist on Planet Earth.

There were two versions of the travel selections, one is the pinks, the other is a combination of a red and a bright orange. Ofcourse me being me, I would choose the pink which comes with the shade 8 Fetish Pink and 9 Pink Caress.

There's two boxes of lipsticks within the travel edition box.
The gold is really beautiful but not very nice for photography since it is highly reflective.

The packaging is definitely the epitome of luxury. I could stare at the packaging all day long and still be in awe with it. So beautiful.
The band in the middle represents the shade of the lipstick, so it makes it easier to see the shade without opening the lipstick.

9 Pink Caress is a muted medium pink with slight plum tones.
This colour goes well with almost every skintone but I can see this colour looking fantastic on darker skintone girls. Since it is muted, it makes a good everyday colour.
8 Pink Fetish is a barbie pink.
Compared to 7 Pink Lingerie, I find Pink Fetish much more wearable since it doesn't not have as much white tones in it. This will look good on fairer tone girls. A very fun, girly pink shade.

After getting hold of more YSL products, I still want more. I am very pleased with all the products that this brand has to offer, the packaging is of class and the quality is of top notch.
I am going to burn my wallet with more YSL items in the future. 

Santorini Haul

I did manage pick up some beauty products when I was in Santorini since most of the time I have been wondering in Fira. Mostly, I picked up Greek beauty/skincare products that are obviously cheaper and more accessible in Greece.

Greek famous beauty/skincare products are usually found in Pharmacies.

Here's the damage done on the first day on the Island. 

Hondos Center is the only department store in Santorini, which is located in Fira. In that store, I picked up some YSL items since we do not have YSL in Malaysia except in KLIA terminal and the price was cheaper than in Russia then. 

From the pharmacy, I got Korres and Apivita products. Apivita and Korres are well known brands in Greece. 

Apivita cream with propolis. The salesgirl recommended this to me for problematic skin. The cream smells purely like propolis. 

Anyway, this cream is not for me. Just getting it for someone who breaks out time to time. 

From Korres, I got this Santorini Vine collection as a souvenir. The smell ain't particularly for my liking but since I was in Santorini, why not grab this gift set as a remembrance and souvenir for the family. 

A pretty gift set from Korres indeed. I like the Santorini print behind the gift set.

Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation in BR20

Hondos Center was having a 30% off on all high-end cosmetics and perfumes.

The sales assistant in Hondos Center is really nice and helpful. She matched me to this foundation and it was a perfect match on my skin. This is my first YSL foundation. 

Another YSL product I picked up is the YSL Kiss & Blush in 9 Rose Epicuren. 

I have been eyeing on this product eversince it was launched. I find the whole lip and cheek hybrid product very interesting,

Here is a swatch of the YSL Kiss & Blush in Rose Epicuren. 

It is a baby lavender-pink. Very sweet colour, I fell in love with this colour when I first swatched it. 

This is the purchases on the last night. I did have some dramatic experience with the lip butters. 

While Korres is very accessible in Santorini island since it is a Greek product but due to high popularity, their lip butter are mostly sold out with only a few shades left. All these lip products are actually bought from different pharmacies.

The Lip Butter in Wild Rose and Jasmine are bought in Oia. I do not intend to get Wild Rose, infact I wanted Quince but the sales lady gave me the wrong shade and I did not realize till I was back in the hotel. So the next day I had to search for it, I went to 3 different pharmacies and also Hondos Center in Fira and I think there were only three pharmacies. I finally got Quince from the pharmacy close to Carrefour. I think it is the more secluded pharmacy out of the three pharmacies there since the other two were at nearer to the bus stop and on the way to the Central Square. 

The glory of my Korres lip butters. 

The Watermelon Lightweight Tinted Moisturizer is also something I have looked out for. Glad to found it at one of the pharmacies. It was such a challenge finding certain Korres products in Santorini

The Birthday haul : High end edition

Last month was my birthday month, I did treat myself to a big something for my birthday but these items were all on a discount/offer, it is pretty much a sin not to get them since they were so much marked down. I am pleasantly surprised with the marked down price.

I picked up the Chanel Glossimer in Jalousie, Yves Saint Laurant Glossy Stain in 17 Encre Rose and Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Colour in 49 Liaison

Chanel Glossimer in Jalousie.

This is my first Glossimer. Among the shades that were on sale, I find this to be the most suitable to my liking, the rest of the shades were too dark and vampy. It is a past collection limited I can see why it is on a discount.
Jalousie is a blue toned fuchsia with purple pearl.
It is one of those shades that immediately brightens my skintone and wakes me up. It is really beautiful.

Some Glossimer are sheer but this, on the other hand, is very opaque! One swipe is all you need.
You will get a bright fuchsia va va voom lips

I really like the sleek and chic gloss tube with the Chanel emblem on the the top of the tube.

Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Colour in 49 Liaison
Such beautiful and chic packaging. I love Chanel's lipstick I find the texture, finish and hydration superb. They can be pricey but they worth every cent I pay.
This is the 3rd Chanel Lipstick I own.

Liaison is a beautiful nudy pink. It makes a great MLBB colour.

This was on offer and it was the last piece left. So without thinking, I just grabbed it and I did not regret my choice.
I should visit Рив Гош more often, they do have offer on high end products from time to time.

I love the Yves Saint Laurant Glossy Stain. I am glad to spot this shade that I have been eyeing on 40% off and it is the last piece on the counter. I have been very lucky since everything I picked up is the last piece, waiting for me.
I headed to the store pretty late, about dinner time and it was a Chanel client day and there was an amount of customers, so I do consider myself pretty lucky to have leftovers that suits to my liking for me to pick up.

17 Encre Rose is a barbie pink, I just have a great soft spot for pinks, I will just pick up any blush or lip products that are pink.
Can't you tell, pink is my favourite colour.

That's all I got for my birthday haul this time.
I am very satisfied with my purchases with all the offers and I am very happy and pleased with the items I have purchased.

Also stay tune for more hauls, there are still some hauls from the past few months and recent weeks that I have still failed to post up.

On another note, Happy December everyone. Time flies by so fast and today is already the end of November. I am excited for Christmas and winter holidays in January, at the same time I have been dreading the extremely freezing weather over here in Moscow. Also, finals are up soon.

YSL Glossy Stain in #13

YSL has pulled out in Malaysia a few years ago, which is a sad thing since I adore YSL's cosmetics.
I have been eyeing on this glossy stain since they were a lot of great review about it but in Moscow, this glossy stain is crazily overpriced.
In the airport though, it is priced cheaper at 25 Euros(1111rubles) compared to 1400rubles in stores , still pretty expensive if you ask me.

#13 Rose Tempura

It is a gorgeous rose colour. I am thinking of getting other colours too.

I have thought over a really long time to get all of these based on their packaging and reviews.

1) MAC powder blush in Pink Swoon

So far I only own one MAC blush which is Dame. Also, I left that in Malaysia.

The colour pay off is really good, they are considered reasonably priced compared to other high-end brands like Chanel, Shu Uemura etc.

I am a blushoholic.

2) Paul and Joe Face Powder duo

Pretty packaging and popsister models used to use this brand of face powder, I think it was the pressed powder N which I can't find on the site anymore, maybe discontinued?

Face shower and highlight in one same palette. Thumbs up from me.

3) YSL rouge volupte in #7

Just because I want it and Suzuki Aya uses it.

4) Shiseido Maquillage Rouge Enamel Glamour

Pretty colours, long lasting, Takei Emi is the ambassador.

So far this are the ones that I REALLY REALLY want. like MUST HAVE IT range.
