What I Wore : April - May

I wanted to call this post a lookbook but since Malaysia has only one season which is summer and also summer. It would not make sense to call it a spring or summer lookbook and it's lame to call it a Malaysian lookbook.

This is my first time doing a fashion post.
My fashion style is pretty much a mix, I don't even know how to describe it. I enjoy girly florals, ruffles, ripped jeans, formal shirts.. Basically things that goes with me and flatters me.

of Cream Puffs and Balm Stains

It has been a long time since I did a FOTD.

Here are the list of products I used for the look. 

The most exciting product is the Tony Moly Pure Aura CC Cream. It was my first time using it. 

The cream and the micro-capsules. 

On to the cream,

The coverage is definitely VERY sheer. There's hardly any coverage at all. It smoothens pores, hides some discolouration of the skin and gives the skin a healthy dewy look.
It is very light on the skin, it feels like you didn't apply anything on the face.
CC Cream can be used as a base for foundation or BB cream if there isn't enough coverage for the face.

Lasting power wise, it last really long, I had it on for about 12 hours and by the end of the day, it is still there.

FOTD :

I have been loving the Revlon Kissable Balm Stain. It is moisturizing and long-lasting!
It last the whole day with meals.

OOTD :

a little black dress from Zara.

At night I went to Shangri-la hotel for buffet.

There's a variety of choices ranging from local cuisine to western cuisine to chinese cuisine. 

There's also dessert and sashimi.

I love the cream puffs.

Before I went for buffet, I was actually shopping. I am going to post my clothing haul later.

I went to Watsons again, this time I picked up another colour of the Revlon Kissable Balm Stains. 

The shade is 020 Lovesick.

I wanted 025 Valentine but it was out of stock so I settled with 020 Lovesick. Maybe I would go Watsons  on a later date and check whether they stocked up.

Getting ready for bubble fest.

This is the ratio of foundation and volumer I always use.

This time I am using Dr. G's BB cream and Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer in #1

Apply it all over the face to get the a dewy finish.

Excuse my skin.
Then I topped it off with MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural.

For my eyes.
I got inspired many Spring looks.

I used a mixture of champagne, pink and orange colour.
Since i didn't have any pink eyeshadow with me, I used my Bourjois blush in Rose D'or as a replacement.
First I applied the champagne colour all over my lid and the pink at the outer V. Then the orange at the middle of the lid and blend.
I highlighted my bottom lid with Essence Stay with Me cream eyeshadow in For Faeries. It is a beautiful metallic pink-gold colour.

Highlighter : Etude House Golden Ratio

The camera washes the face quite a lot.

OOTD

In my favourite new pink trench coat.

Glow it.

I tried doing the dewy skin look once again with Etude House Golden Ratio Face Glam.

Here is a swatch of the product. 

It is a pink colour with lots of silver shimmer. It is almost like Benefit's High Beam.

The liquid part of the product is very liquidy so it is very very easy to spread. I haven't use the cream part yet.

This is a FOTD with the golden ratio face glam.
I applied the face glam by dapping at the areas the light hits (T-zone, cheekbones)

It makes my face really luminous under the light a actually it is very natural. 

Doesn't make you look like a shimmer ball.

Oh gosh it has been so long since I wore false lashes, my way of application has been iffy.
I need to practice again.

Missha Misa Cho Bo Yang BB Cream is love.

Makes me skin look so flawless and you only need a tiny bit of amount. 

OOTD: 

It's Bon Odori so naturally I was clad in a yukata.  

Can't see my Obi. Oh well..

Korean BBQ day.

I have been going out and hanging out at shopping malls.

Anyway, let's go to the EOTD.

I haven't been experimental with eye makeup, I just keep repeating the same style, just switching the eyeshadow colours. 

I used TonyMoly's liptint in Cherry Pink for the lips and I love it.

I didn't meant to create a gradation lips but it just happened this way.

I went back to TonyMoly to get the Red Apple tint.

For dinner we had Korean BBQ in the Korean Village.

Monday was my most packed day of all my holidays.
I went for shopping again.. Girls can't stop shopping then later at night my friends spontaneously asked me out for clubbing.

We are gonna talk about the shopping first.

Here are the clothes I bought from H&M .
I didn't get many as I didn't find many that I like.

I like the detailings on the top, it is a very sweet and cute top.

I got a basic dress.
Simple yet classy.

I had starbucks too!
I still miss my country's starbucks. Russia's starbucks taste nowhere as good. In fact it is very bland.

On the late night clubbing, I am gonna confess that I am not a club person and I think this is a first and final time going to a club.
I am just gonna be a good girl, spend time in fine dining restaurant at night and enjoying a good platter of seafood pretend that I am in Paris.
I swear the smoke smell in the club almost killed me. Being in the club is just so not me.

And this Russian dude gets hitting on us girls. I got touched by him a couple times.
Luckily there were dudes to save us.

Happy May Day!

Let's start with  the bad news.
I split water on my blackberry now the keypads do not function at all! How frustrating.

Now let's go into the shopping buys.
It has been awhile since I went clothes shopping and finally I did a really small one!

Here are my buys.

First I got a bareback dress from Stradivarius.
I have been eying on this dress for the longest time ever.

It is really pricey but I have no regrets since It is absolutely gorgeous.


And i finally got my first platform heels from New Look.

Nude pumps. Just nice for any occasion.

It is really hard to find a stippling brush here, when I saw it I knew I had to get it since my ELF powder brush was shedding like a cat.
I bought a foundation brush but I don't really like it. Maybe I am just not used with the use of a foundation brush.

QVS Mineral Makeup Air Brush Stippling Brush.
Bought it for 330Rubles.

There's hardly any brush choice over here. QVS is like one of the only brush brands around here.

Well it is not as dense as I expect it to be. It doesn't bleed or shed when I washed it.
Haven't got the chance to use it yet.
