Eyeshadow haul : Innisfree, Elianto, MAC

I have been enjoying warmer and redder tones for my eyeshadows this season. To expand my warm tones collection, I have been purchasing new eyeshadows from Asian brands. I am giving Asian brands the chance again since they have improved the quality of their eyeshadows and the price still remained affordable. Also, I have been loving a softer pigmentation that Asian eyeshadow offers.

I picked up eyeshadows from Innisfree and Elianto.

I bought a few Elianto eyeshadows previously and I ended up liking them so I went back to purchase some more.

This time I went back to purchase two more shades.

Thulian Pink is a muted pink shade with shimmers. The shimmers aren't obvious application, it provides a satin finish to the eyeshadow.

Cocoa is a milk chocolate shade. This seems to be one of the popular shades since there were not many left at the counter and I could totally understand why.
It is a very versatile and natural shade. It is great for days if you just want a splash of colour on your lids.

I went to Innisfree the other day, I had so much fun swatching the eyeshadows and ended up with three of them.

Innisfree Mineral Eyeshadow in Matte 04.
It is the typical milk chocolate shade that is super versatile. I love the formula and texture of the Innisfree eyeshadows. They are one of my favourite Korean roadshop eyeshadow brand. They go on really soft and smooth, the texture really buttery too.

Innisfree Mineral Eyeshadow in Shimmer 01
It is a light peachy brown. I really enjoy the texture of the shimmer eyeshadows, they are just super buttery. Upon swatching with finger, they give off a wet shimmer look which is extremely beautiful.
The pigmentation is top notch too.

This is a golden bronze shade. This shade is breathtakingly beautiful.

At the duty free, I picked up some MAC eyeshadows and I thought I would be great to shade it in this post too.

I had plan to get more shades but many of them were out of stock. In the end, I only ended up picking up two shades.

MAC Charcoal Brown.
There's nothing very charcoal-y about the shade. It is a soft neutral brown with hints of ashy undertones.
This is the only matte brown shade left at the counter.

MAC Amber Lights.
This is one of the MAC eyeshadows that I have wanted for such a long time and I am so happy that I got it. This is such a beautiful shade.
Amber Lights is a warm golden bronze shade.

That's all the eyeshadows I hauled this time.

California Gold

Here comes an EOTD.

Today I finally got around using the Elianto Luscious Shadow in Califonia Gold and I love it. 

If you like shimmers and all the bling, go get it. The eyeshadow lasted the whole day on me and I have gotten some compliments from my friends on how pretty my eyeshadow looks. 

It's really high shine. Can you see the gold shimmers going on my lid. 

The shine is so gorgeous. 

The undereye highlight is Essence Stay all Day Long Lasting Eyeshadow in For Fairies. They discontinued this eyeshadow, I am kinda bumped since I really like it but I am glad I have bought a back up.

Mascara is Maybelline TheMagnum (This is an Asia limited mascara).

Since I like the Gold eyeshadow so much, I went back to Elianto today and got the brown one. 

This shade is in Hacienda Brown.

A lot of silver microglitters.

FOTD

My base makeup is the Skinfood Red Orange Jelly BB topped off with ELF Mineral Booster.

I really like the Skinfood Red Orange Jelly BB, the coverage is light to medium and the finish is matte. i like the texture, it feels so light and fresh! 

I am compare it to my Holika Holika Aqua petit jelly bb once I got around using it. 

Lip colour is Revlon Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick

Mini Elianto haul

I am leaving to Melbourne for a trip tomorrow. So, there won't be any updates for a week.

Now to a mini haul. 

Elianto is a local brand over here in Malaysia, over the years, they have been upgrading on their eyeshadows. Their eyeshadows used to be at a flat rate of RM5, then quality wise, it wasn't very good, most eyeshadows run chalky and pigmentation was meh~

Eversince they updated their eyeshadow range, pigmentation got so much better. 

I got two colours this time. 

Lustre shadow in Sophia Pink and Luscious shadow in California Gold

Sophia Pink is a Wheat Brown colour with some pink undertones.

It is not as pink as the name suggest, no idea why they named it this way.

California Gold is a real deal Gold with lots of gold shimmers.

I haven't try them out, when I do I will post a EOTD. 

Another thing I picked up that is a necessity. This is from the local drugstore.

L'oreal UV Perfect. 

I never leave the house without sunblock/sunscreen no matter what season it is. Let it be winter.

I just don't wanna risk having freckles, my mum has them so I am worried that I might get them too.

Sunflower.

Elianto, is a Malaysian brand cosmetics but most of their products are manufactured in Korea.

It has been a long time I step into this shop. I heard they upgraded a lot of their products.
So that day I went to Elianto since they were having sales. I thought of trying their eyeshadow since I saw that they extended their line of eyeshadows.

These are the eyeshadows I picked up. A total of 5 colours.

Wheat Yellow. There is nothing yellow about this eyeshadow despite its name.
It is a gorgeous champagne colour.

Fairy Purple. The name suits the colour. It is a cute colour, a lilac lavender purple.
A colour which I have been wanting to get for quite some time.

Sugar Brown. A nice mocha brown.
A colour which I use really often. No harm adding one of this into my collection of brown eyeshadows.

 

Cadmium Orange. A salmon orange which is very wearable.
I don't think I have an orange eyeshadow like this. So it's nice to have this orange now in my collection.

 

Sienna Gold. This is the only matte eyeshadow I got.
I have one-two matte eyeshadows, they are not my thing but I thought no harm getting one.
It is a matte mid-tone brown.

I picked up a palette to make my own eyeshadow palette!

The palette is very sturdy for an affordable price.

It has 4 spots to pop in your pot and a huge mirror!

Just a tiny skincare haul from watsons

My skin has been acting super crazy lately with lots of breakouts.
So decided to pick up Nixoderm which people say works miracle on pimples.

The Biore UV Aqua SPF50+PA+++ is to replace a sunblock I got from Moscow. I feel like the sunblock is kinda breaking out my skin since I think it was not meant for face application.
This one is water base and it is really mild on the skin.

The Ginvera Nutri White Marvel Gel is a gel base exfoliater. it is said to remove blackheads and whitens. I really hope it delivers because I need to get rid of some acne scars and my "strawberry nose"

Since I am back I can get in touch with more of my makeup, I am gonna do my few favourites of this month.

Elianto eyeshadow in Light Salmon
The texture is a little chalky but it's the colour that draws me to like it. it seems to just go well with the browns.
Very lovely and useful colour. I reach out to this colour a lot.

Jordana eyeshadow in Over the Taupe
gorgeous colour, not chalky stays on really long and doesn't crease with a primer and extremely affordable. I am loving it a lot!


MAC mineralize skin finishbest ever powder used. I am gonna stick using this for awhile until there's even better one.
Doesn't give the chakey feeling when applied, so natural on the skin with good coverage. It minimises the pores on my face.
Last very long too. Worth every penny I payed for.

Taiwanese handmade lashes which can be purchased from Ebay.com
I like this style since it gives a voluminous and flirty lash look since it accentuates the ends.
Makes the eye looks longer.

Essence glossy lipbalm in pink dragonfruit
I just find myself reaching for this product often. I like the scent and it taste sweet when licked.
The colour payoff is very good for this one and t does give nice glossy sheen.
Just that it doesn't last long but I don't mind reapplying.

Maybelline volum' express hypercurl cateyes mascara in feline black
Since the wand is in comb style it's really good for bottom lashes, I use it mostly for bottom lash.
It's very waterproof, doesn't flake, doesn't smudge nor budge after applied and super black.
Just removing it an be a tough job at times.

Florally summer.

Karaoke session was fun after so long. I never thought I missed karaoke so much

Also, I hate how the selection of Jpop is so scarce here.

Atleast I got to sing some of my favourite song, feels so satisfied.

It's really nice to catch up with old friends too. Checking up on their life and so on.

Anyway after karaoke session, I did a little shopping.

I picked up a floral maxi dress which is pretty cheap.

It only cost around RM29. Such a bargain.

The reason I like shopping in Timesquare at times.

Elianto was having sales. I picked up this sorta highlight colour that was 70% off.

The colour is called baby rose but I don't see anything rosy about it. It is a pinkish champagne colour.

I only paid RM4.50 for this which is just slightly above USD1.

I like when they have sales like this but other than this I didn't find anything interesting.

I might be going back to the place to buy somemore clothes. I saw a few that I quite like but didn't pick them up.

Just a small OOTD..

Yesterday's outfit. Wearing something more formal as I have to back to college to get my statement.
After taking my statement, I went for bowling with my friends. It was my first time bowling and I am terrible at it.

We also catch a movie. The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

I also bought a new lipstick. Just because it was 20% off.
Elianto Matte Berry Lipstick in Pink BerryPackaging is really sweet.It comes in a sleek tube with lots of floral prints. Really girly. The code for the colour is 01 and it is made in Italy. The swatch. It is a pinkish berry.
