Guardian warehouse loot!

In a last few days in Malaysia during the summer, I stumbled upon a Guardian warehouse sale. They were selling selected cosmetics, skincare, toiletries, etc for cheap.

Not many things caught my eye since I went during the last day of the event and most of the items have been sold out. I still manage to get some items from the clearance sale.

Majolica Majorca Jeweling Eyes in PK722.

This went from close to RM60 to RM20.
It has a beautiful selection of pinks and neutrals. A feminine neutral palette.

Like most Asian brand palettes, the finish is shimmery. Shimmer finish somehow makes Asian eyes pop out even better, it sort of brings life to our small eyes.

Another item I got is the Avene Cleanance K Cream Gel. I have been using it everyday since it is going to expire in a few months. Would I compare it to my La Roche Posay Effaclar K?
Well, my skin has been doing well with this cream alone so do when I use the Effaclar K but texture and scent wise, I like La Roche Posay better. Avene has a funky scent.

it's Friday.

This is a tiny haul I did few days ago in Sasa and our local pharmacy.

Sasa is having a promotion on the Dr G Gowoonsesang BB cream at buy two for RM99 which I thought is a pretty good deal. The offer last till today.
I picked up two tubes for myself.

each tube comes with 45ml since would be able to last you for a good while since you do not need much when applying since it is pretty thick and creamy.

It comes with a traditional squeeze tube like most traditional BB creams but even so the product won't flow out of the tube and get messy because of the creamy texture.

Here is the description of the BB cream.

Majolica Majorca Mono Eyeshadow in BR784
I got this because I had a RM20 off voucher. So I didn't pay much for this.

The label at the back.

It is just a medium brown with shimmers.
Very beautiful.

The last thing I got is this highly raved product.
The Revlon Lip Butter.

The colour I got is in Strawberry Shortcake.

Trick on me.

Today is gonna be a busy day too. I am gonna go watch a movie! Finally!
I haven't watched a movie for 10 months.
So excited! ^^

Japanese drugstore products have very good quality especially their mascara and eyeshadow.
This is a repurchase. My mum took mine away because she loves this quad.

Majolica Majorca Majolook Trick on Shadow in BR751

The eyeshadows colour are super pretty!

Here comes a collective fashion haul.

Dress with long green skirt with pearl details at the collar. It looks very elegant on.

Leopard print dress. The back is very cute. It is a lace detail see through back!

Lovely black lace details.

Cute and girly lace dress with peterpan collar.

I like lace detail on the body and the white dots detail on the skirt.
The contrast makes the skirt have more of a sweet little girl feel.

Mustrad mode-style dress.
The hole detail makes it feel very EMODA-style.

This dress is also very mode-style.

Summer style flowy skirt.
I love this skirt.

Black dress with gold braid.
A night out dress.

Gold braid detail.

Lace three quarter skirt.

The lace detail is very pretty.

Blush coloured see-through top
The gold metal plate on the collar is really pretty.

The cute gold plate detail.

Dress with peplum.

The next are hauled from TaoBao.com. I got them I think last year.
Didn't manage to see them till my Summer break.

ViVi-styled Inspired lace top/dress.
I don't know if I should call this a dress because it is too short for me to be a dress. ;o;

Very nice lace detail.

Sly-inspired top/dress.
I love this one, the quality is very good for the price I paid.

favourite mascara

Since my mascara is running low and I had it for like few months. I know you are not suppose to keep mascara too long since bacteria could accumulate in the tube and yada yada yada.

Picked up my most trustworthy brand of mascara.
Majolica Majorca. Yeap 10% off.

I have tried lots of brands. Some worked some are pure crap.
For me, mascaras I would go for either Maybelline Asia's editions or Majolica Majorca. They work the best for Asian lashes. I had tried The Colossal that is available in European and the US. It didn't work that good. It didn't accentuate my lashes as it promise and after half of the day it flakes and hola! panda eyes.

The only down side for Majolica Majorca is it is so waterproof that i can be a pain to remove.

This time I bought Lash Expander frame plus because it's cheaper after discount. Also, from the tester It works amazing, no flakes, no clumps, it made my lashes 100 times longer.
I have tried the Lash Gorgeous Wing before and it works amazing too. No flakes, no clumps, just the lengthening effect is not so prominent. The brush. The Lash Gorgeous Wing has the normal mascara brush but the Lash expander frame plus' comes in a comb style. Comb style is very convenient for bottom lashes.
I like to use the Maybelline Volum' on Hypercurl Cat eye mascara for my bottom lashes because of the comb style, by the way this mascara is Asia limited.
but you can try getting it on Ebay.com

So what's your favourite mascara?

hello from Malaysia + hauls and parcels!!

Just arrived in Malaysia on July 4th. It feels so good to be home with the parents and also the good food available here.
The only downside about here , it's the hot weather and also, the slow internet speed.

It just have been only the first day, I've been shopping for quite a lot. teehee.
Got two shorts, one from Max-tino (the one with the adorable ribbon) and also one from cotton on. The one from Cotton on is extremely affordable, it's only RM29.00.
Such a bargain.

The following post will be stuffs I've got from my parcels.

First up, a collection of NYX lipglosses.
They are my favourite brand of lipglosses. The consistency is smooth, the colours are pigmented and most importantly they are pretty cheap. I got mine from cherryculture.com.
From left : Dolly pink, Smokey Look, Natural, Mauve, Whipped, Sorbet.

RMK's eyeshadows.
They are used but I got them since they are cheap and I really wanted to try them but not pay the hefty price tag.
Texture is smooth, colours are pigmented and spreads like butter.

Majorlica Majorca's Puff de Cheek in PK333. This is the limited edition colour that I made my mum help me pick it up when I was in Russia.

It comes with a cute puff which I doubt I would use, I prefer using a brush to apply my blusher.

Here's a swatch of it. It is a typical bubblegum pink which goes well with fair skintones.

This is what I call luck.

Surprise!
Lucky day!

My mum managed to snatch for me the last Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek in Strawberry Macaroon of the counter and this colour is the limited edition one.
Love you mama!

Can you see my mum holding the puff de cheek.
I am overjoyed.

Dilemma and more temptations

I saw a Malaysian-based online dealer that is dealing with Jill Stuart.
Previously she was dealing with with Candy Doll and Melliesh but she stopped. So sad!
and I convinced my mum that I might get this.

The price tag is really hefty at RM169 per blush.

I also wanted this but it seems that the colour I want is out of stock.
Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek.

So I might just get the Jill Stuart one and live a poor life.

Such a sucker for packagings.

What's your take on the Jill Stuart and Majolica Majorca blushes?

Trick on the Kitty

There's a Japanese food fair below the place where I have the classes.
Japanese food packagings are seriously cute! like super!
I didn't want to rip the top at first, because look at it, so cute. I just want to keep it.Even the plastic packaging inside is cute =0

Stop by Guardian again, this time to pick up the Nivea's Lip Care Strawberry
the picture's quality is a little blur, there's no macro setting on my phone camera.
Here's the colour, it gives the slightest tint of red. Barely visible.

I stop by Watson for awhile and Majorlica Majorca's Majolook Trick On Eye Palette caught my eye again.

The truth is I always wanted one but I never got myself to buy them because they are amazingly expensive for drugstore eyeshadow palette.

More expensive than Revlon's colorstay eyeshadow quads, I think.

It cost RM53.90 on usual, which is about USD15.60? A bit steep for a drugstore palette.

Here's the swatch for the set I got. BR751.

Pigmentation is superb, that's one swipe across. The texture is buttery smooth, it glides on like butter. The colours are all shimmery, I like!

This one's BR742. The brownish-black is a little gritty, maybe it's just the tester's issue.

Now for the real deal.

I don't know it's my Watson's or what. Look at the manufacturing date. Apparently all the palette on the counter are produced around this time. Also, I don't think powder products really expire.

Look at the price, such a turn off right?

It is wrapped nicely in this plastic box. all sealed up.

Such wonderfully cute packaging and really sleek. It can certainly be thrown in your purse.

Look at the colours. Aren't they just gorgeous?
There's a gold, taupe, dark brown with silver shimmers and pale pink with pinkish-purple shimmers.
