Summer haul : Maybelline & Divage

Maybelline had a 3 for sale and Divage released their brand new lip polish which got me rushing to the beauty store.
I took advantage of the offer because I wanted to try out their lash sensational mascara. At the same time I picked up two lipsticks from the same brand. Also, the Divage Lip polish, I picked up three shades.

Divage Lip Polish.
With the liquid lipstick hybrid lip products releases going on, it seems like this local Russian brand has finally caught up with the trend and releasing their own versions of the lip polish. This product comes in around 8 shades.
I got 3 shades from the 8 and they are the pinks and neutrals.

The lip polish packaging is beautiful! The cap is a pink-silver colour giving it a sleek and girly feel to a simple packaging.

The shades do not have a name. I picked up 02 , 03, 04.

Swatches from top 02,03,04 and 01

The only shade from the swatches I did not pick up is 01.

Maybelline Lash Sensational

It took me awhile to get this. When it was first launched I really like the packaging because it is a rose coloured tube. I definitely could not resist roses and pinks.
I put it on hold since I had quite a number of mascaras. The other day I finished one of my mascaras and I thought it is time to get a new mascara and took advantage of the offer.

Maybelline Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lipcolor

This lipstick range is only available in selected countries. I like this lipstick because It is affordable but the texture and feel on the lips is luxurious.

170 Rose Diva 175 Miss Light

I am pretty sure these colours are Russian limited since the names for the shades are in Russian and I have not seen this shade anywhere else except over here.

Rose Diva is a purplish magenta shade.
Miss Light is a peach-pink.

Eyeshadow craze : mini haul

I have been getting eyeshadows each time I pop into the beauty store that it has become a serious issue. The Essence Revamp Mono Eyeshadows and Divage Velvet Eyeshadow are just so great for being so cheap and quality is just magnifique for the price paid.

So, this time, I picked up two eyeshadows again.

Essence Eyeshadow in Raindrops on Roses.

The camera does not pick up the shade well. It is a champagne shade with pink iridescent shimmers.
I picked up this shade because it looks like it would make a great lid colour on days I want the extra shine and shimmer.

Divage Velvet Eyeshadow in 7309

This is a matte peach shade. A beautiful lid shade.
The Divage eyeshadows are just to die for. I have bought most of the neutral shades and I love every single shade I have purchased.

If you happened to see a Divage around. Give these eyeshadows a try.

Current obsession : mini haul

From each recent mini hauls I made each time shows my obsession towards my newly found love - the Divage Velvet Eyeshadows. I just keep picking them up when I have a chance to pop into the beauty store.

This time I picked up the Divage Velvet Eyeshadow once again and Eva mosaic's blush.

Eva Mosaic blush in 11 Rose Silk
Eva Mosaic is a Russian brand. I never really ventured into this brand.
Somehow this blush was on sale and I really like the colour and glow it gives. It is a luminous coral shade.

Divage Velvet Eyeshadow in 7305.

I finally found this shade! I have been searching this shade high and low and now it is finally in my hands.
This shade is a grey-purple shade. It is absolutely gorgeous. Currently I have been collecting eyeshadows of shades as such.
Also, the Divage Velvet Eyeshadows have been my new matte eyeshadow love. They are so great, the texture and pigmentation is really good for the price paid.

Mini haul : divage & essence

I was browsing through the beauty store, wanting to try out new makeup products mostly, eyeshadows and I did a mini haul.

Got items from very affordable brands like Essence and local Russian brand Divage.

Essence has revamped their mono eyeshadows and promised smoother and better texture. I own a Essence eyeshadow in their old formula and I did not like it at all. I was not smooth at all with all the chunky glitters.
Since then, I stay away from Essence Mono Eyeshadows.

The other day I was swatching the new revamped eyeshadows and It just amazed me how much better the quality has become. It is definitely much smoother and less chalky. The pigmentation is great too.
I bought one to try out and I really like it. I will be going back to collect the eyeshadows.

The shade I got is "All I Need". It is definitely the "All I Need" shade. With this shade you could definitely have a complete eye look. It is a metallic taupe.

I don't know why I didn't take notice of these eyeshadows earlier because the texture, pigmentation of this eyeshadow is just like a dream. It feels like silk.
Definitely one of the best budget matte eyeshadow I have tried.

The shade I picked up is 7307.
It is a milk chocolate.
Also, I am going back for more shades. There's a shade that I really like but it is out of stock. It is a purple taupe colour. Very gorgeous shade.

I own these Divage lipsticks. They are affordable with a nice range of colours to choose from.
I really like these lipsticks, it has a creamy texture and good pigmentation. They are long lasting especially the darker colours. They leave a stain on the lips.

They have changed their packaging from a glossy finish to a matte finish.
I like the matte packaging much better, it definitely looks more chic and sleek.

3606 is a rose baby pink.
It is a beautiful everyday colour.

I haven't really explored into Divage except their lipsticks, eyeshadows and nailpolishes. So far I am loving what I have purchased from Divage.
Their Velvet eyeshadows is a must try.

Tiny winter haul

I am back from my holidays, I am still on holiday mood and too lazy to do anything at all.
Meanwhile I sort all of my holiday pictures and slack around . Let's have a haul post to fill up the emptiness that has been here for 2 weeks.
In this haul, the items are brands from Russia. They were on sale or clearance which is pretty much the one of the reason I picked them up.
I picked up the Divage Kiss Me Lipgloss , Divage Kiss Me Lip Balm and L'etoile Rouge Desir Lipstick.
I paid around 373 Rubles for these three items. If you do the math it is about RM24 USD6.7) at that moment of time which is a steal considering makeup is cheap here at the first place.

L'etoile was having a 40% off storewide until 28th December. Ofcourse I couldn't resist the good sales. I did pick up a lot of high end products from the store and that will be in another post.
L'etoile is like the Russian version of Sephora, they have their own in store brand with great and vast selection.
What caught my eye the most is their new Rouge Desir. From the packaging, they remind me of the creamy lipsticks that most companies are pushing out such as the Dior Addict lipsticks and Chanel Rouge Coco Shine. They were so many colours to choose from, there is  more than 20 colour to choose from. It is really great. There's definitely a shade for everybody.

I picked the shade 411 Princesse. You know, I love my pinks. This is a beautiful medium pink that suits every occasion. With the formula, the colour won't be too loud or bright. It gives a nice high shine wash of medium pink to the lips.

I really like the packaging, the packaging is very sleek and minimalistic with the full black theme. It is also very sturdy. It is also very slim which makes it easy to carry around in the makeup bag, because it will not take up much space.
The downside though, the packaging is such a fingerprint magnet!

Divage is an affordable Russian brand with its own stands.
Divage Kiss Me Lip Balm in 04.
These were on a clear out in the beauty store near my hostel. They were going for 49 Rubles.
Doesn't hurt to have another lipbalm for 49 Rubles. I go through lipbalms really fast since it is winter now and Russia is known for having harsh and cold winters. The harsh winter often try out my skin and lips.
I haven't tried out this lipbalm, I am not sure if it swatches with colour or clear.

Divage Kiss Me Lipgloss in 01
These lipglosses were on a clear out for 49 Rubles too. There was about 2 shades left in the clear out and this shade caught my attention. It is a peachy nude with slight shimmers. The shimmers are not very noticeable unless you really look into the tube.
I was pleasantly surprised by this lipgloss. It is pigmented and it feels quite nice on the lips, quite smooth and creamy. It is not sticky and doesn't apply patchy.
I would say this is such a steal for only 49 rubles.

Burgundy leaves : Autumn haul

After looking autumn look pictorials, I have been looking for wine coloured & red coloured lipsticks, red eyeshadows, everything that screams Autumn.

Have anyone seen those autumn look pictorials released by Korean cosmetic companies?
They look gorgeous, you all should check them out.

I picked up two lipsticks, an eyeshadow and a blush.

Essence Guerilla Gardening TE Cream Blush in Floral Glam.

This was the at the clearance section so I thought I am just gonna pick it up since lately I have a thing for cream blushes. They just give you a nice flush of colour which looks like a glow from within.
I have used it today and I like it. It gives such a beautiful flush of colour and the pigmentation is great.
It doesn't last the whole day though, maybe about 5 hours or so but it is great enough.

Divage lipstick in 3612.

I like this colour, it is like a rose wine colour which is perfect-o for autumn.
Since it is on the darker side of colours, the lipstick does leave a tint to the lips. So it last the whole day.
The lipstick isn't too drying on the lips too.

Divage Velvet eyeshadow in 7315.

This is one unique colour. It is a burgundy red colour. It is in trend in Korea now for Autumn and me being bold, I bought this colour to incorporate into my autumn looks.

I know burgundy and reds are risky colours as they can make the eyes look puffy and sore.

I tried it today and works very well with my bronze eyeshadow. It gives a romantic look.
I will take a EOTD with this eyeshadow soon.

The eyeshadow is not too pigmented and it is slightly chalky but I can work with it.

The last item I got is a lipstick

a Catrice lipstick. Yes, I have been into rose, wine and red colours for this season.
I couldn't resist picking up this glamourous red lipstick.

The colour is 'My Red Card'

I haven't use this lipstick yet but can't wait to rock a red lip look!

Purple Mist

Back to Moscow, so we are gonna have to bear with the ugly photos and lighting.

The mall near Yugo Zapadnaya has opened a new makeup store.

The brand is Divage.

I only got two items from the store but I will go back to check out other items.

A lipstick and a matt nail polish.

The lipstick comes in a hot pink tube, in my honest opinion, the packaging looks a tad tacky but it is sturdy.

There isn't a name for the colour, it comes in number codes.
This lipstick's number is 3615.

It is a purple colour. It looks very sophisticated.

This autumn, purple seems to be the 'In' colour. I can't wait to pull off this purple lip look.

The swatch of the matte nail polish in 5608.

I fell in love with this colour at first sight. It looks like Etude House's Look at my Eyes cafeshadow in Sweet Potato Latte in nail polish form.

Super gorgeous colour.
It is gonna be my go-to autumn colour.

Divage is a Russian brand with affordable price, you can check it out if you do come visit Russia. Here is the official website (The website might be hard to navigate because it is in Russian and there isn't an English option)
It is available at most beauty outlets such as L'etoile, подружка etc. They do have their own stand alone counters.
You can check out the address here

Just something for February.

Uni reopened. I am gonna cry a river now.
It has has to reopen during the time of peak winter. I am seeing all the -20 Degrees Celcius.
Chilling till the bones.

Here comes a mini haul.
I didn't get much.
I repurchased the Vivienne Sabo foundation which I like, Ton de Plaisir in F1. A nail polish from Divage and a eyeliner brush from Essence cosmetics.

I am saving up my money to haul when I get back home.

Haul on the 15th

A small and mini haul. Actually I shouldn't be picking all these stuffs but since my friend was there, she lured me into getting a few products.

Two Divage colour mascara and Bourjois Bio-detox foundation.

These are under 100 Roubles. I just bought them for fun.

This Bourjois foundation is having offer and I always have wanted to try out Bourjois' foundation. Heard a lot of good things about Bourjois' foundation.

Swatches of the mascara. They are not as vibrant as I thought they would be. =(
Don't mind my clumpy application.

The gold one. I look like I have horse eyes now but it is really pretty. Formulation of as clumpy as the red one

The red one. I have scary eyes now.
I guess they are fun to apply a little at the ends for some attention.

Luckily they are cheap but I don't think I will be using them often, maybe for some event days.
