L'oreal haul

Just picked up a few items from L'oreal from the beauty store
I swear L'oreal makes the best drugstore eyeshadows. I have been loving their l'ombre pure eyeshadows and I also love their Infalliable eyeshadows but I can't seem to find them here anymore, I do not know if they stopped taking them in. Since, I love their eyeshadows so much and I was already at the L'oreal stand, I thought that I would just pick up couple of shades that I do not own.

I picked up two eyeshadows and a mascara.

I like the Volume Million Lashes by L'oreal. I have a few of the other versions and I like them. This one was on sale and it is the Noir Feline which I do not own. So, picking that up to try it out.
Hope it performs as good as the rest.

Let's take a moment to admire the beauty of these eyeshadows.

The design imprinted on the eyeshadow is just so gorgeous. I really love it. It makes the eyeshadows look much more luxurious that it actually is.

The two shades I got it from left:  Quartz Fume and Topaz Rose.
Quartz Fume is a dark taupe grey shade. The shade is just so intense.
Topaz Rose is a rose gold shade.

These eyeshadows are the under the "Lumiere" finish . From what I can see, they have a light reflective satin finish to them.Lovely finish.

Little haul : L'oreal Infalliable Mega Gloss

The L'oreal Infalliable Glosses.
When they first launched, I knew that I have to get these glosses because I had good experiences with L'oreal lip products and I wanted to find out if these glosses live up to my expectations.

I picked up these three colours when they were having a buy two get one off offer on them.

The colour selection for these glosses are wide. There are 24 shades to choose from and the finishes of the glosses are divided into cream, shimmer, matte and neon.
Sadly, we do not have the xtreme resistance finish that is available in some countries.

The shades that I have picked up are shades I like the most from swatching. I don't really enjoy shimmery glosses so I did not pick anything up from the shimmery line and the neons seem too sheer for me, they appear on me like colourless glosses. I prefer my glosses with some colour pigmentation because I do like to wear my glosses alone most of the times. They are not a lipstick topper for me.

Let me talk about the packaging of these glosses. The packaging of these glosses are so sleek and sturdy that it feels really high end. The applicator is somehow designed to be shaped with a curve and empty in the middle of the doe foot applicator, it is shaped to be like the YSL Rouge Volupte Glosses' applicator.
There are many similarities between YSL and L'oreal products. Can't blame when they are from the same company.

The product. The finish of these glosses feel very luxurious, they are light, easy to apply, buttery smooth on the lips. The colour payoff is excellent for the matte and good for the cream finish. The only downside is probably the fact that especially the matte gloss do not last as long as I would like it too. The matte gloss do dry down matte but it doesn't stay put, it is easily transferable. It leaves a stain but you can see that it has very much faded at the end of the day.
Maybe I expected it to work like a liquid lipstick when it wasn't suppose to. Anyway , I still really like the lipgloss because it is very moisturizing despite being matte. The cream ones are more moisturizing but that is because of the finish.

Overall I like these lipgloss and I do recommend trying them out.

Past spring haul

I did this haul quite fairly long ago and I forgot all about it after not arranging my pictures properly into designated files but it is better too late than never.

It is a random haul from various beauty stores.

L'oreal launched a nude palette of rose tones which intrigued me very much due to my love for rose tones and rose and nude together, that just tickled my fancy. I just had to pick it up when I saw the palette in stock in Rive Gauche. I don't remember seeing that palette being stocked anywhere other than Rive Gauche.
I also picked some knicks and knacks from NYX Cosmetics and Essence cosmetics. The Estee Lauder Palette was a gift.

NYX Butter Gloss in Angel Food Cake.

I love the NYX Butter Gloss and I do have quite a collection of these glosses. This colour I have sought after high and low when it was later added on to the existing shades but everytime when I do want to purchase it, it is always out of stock.
I do get why it would be so sought after. This shade is just absolutely gorgeous. It is a mauve rosy nude. It is that type of shade that looks good on everyone and not to mention, such a natural shade.

Another product from NYX that I absolutely adore is the highly talked about Soft Matte Lip Cream.
This product is just so wonderful if you want a matte lip finish that isn't too drying and have a great colour selection. The texture is beautiful, it feels like mousse upon application, very soft and airy and it is long lasting.

The shade I got is Istanbul. It is a baby pink.

I guess I have talked about this lipliner in Satin Mauve many times in my FOTD posts. This is when I first got this lipliner, I actually went to get this lipliner because I love the other shade which is "
Wish me a Rose" from this lipliner range very much and I wanted to try more Essence lipliners.

Essence lipliners never disappoint me. They are just so amazing for the price.

The L'oreal La Palette Nude in Rose.
This palette I have been eyeing on it eversince it was launched because of my love for rose tones. There is never enough rose tone palette for me.

The black palette looks really sleek and beautiful.

Various shades of colours with rose.

It is lovely that the store gave me the Estee Lauder lip palette as a gift.
Something unexpected happened, I had to wait for an hour before it was able to pay my purchase, in the process, the cashier made several mistakes keying in my purchase. So the head cashier came and apologize and gave me this palette as a gift.

I am not a fan of lip palettes. I don't like to use them because I just prefer my lip product from a tube but even so lip palettes are very convenient for travelling. They are packed with various colours and they are compacted into a palette. You don't need bring 3727422 lipsticks on travel.

September haul

Meanwhile while I find a nice new photo location for my hauls.

So, I am back with a haul again. They are all drugstore products, nothing over the top.
Every single item I picked up this time are on sale. Who doesn't love a great deal.

I picked up L'oreal Color Riche Lipstick in Mistinguette and Pink Fever, Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Lavish Mauve, Rimmel Apocalips Matte in Atomic Rose and Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner in Epic.

I have been eyeing on these blushes for some time since they are said to be the drugstore dupe of Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes but I couldn't justify myself to get it since the price is quite pricey for a drugstore blush in comparison with brands like Catrice, Essence, L'oreal or even Maybelline.
This month these blushes are on sale at the local beauty store. Definitely the best time to grab this blush to try it out.

Lavish Mauve is a light pink with mauve undertones. A subtle and feminine colour for a lady-like look.

It is really pretty in the pan. On the skin it provides colour and also a healthy glow which I love.
Now I am really tempted to run back to the beauty store to pick up few more shades before the offer ends.

I love the original Rimmel Apocalips. They are probably my favourite drugstore lip lacquer. They are so pigmented and they apply beautifully on the lips.
Rimmel came out with the matte version not too long ago but I didn't pick them up because I was waiting for them to go on sale and I need another Apocalips like a hole in my head. I probably have like 5-6 shades of the original Apocalips which could last me another 10 years.

These babies were on sale this month at Rive Gauche and I picked up the shade which looks like I would make use out of it. There were 3 shades available, the other 2 is too bold and strong for my liking. Lately, I lean more to the nudes and natural pinks. So, I picked up Atomic Rose

Call me blind but I can't see the rose in Atomic Rose. It is a light dusty peachy pink shade. Very natural and wearable for an everyday casual and formal look.

L'oreal Color Riche Lipsticks.
I like the Collection Privee Lipstick by L'oreal, it is really moisturizing and light on the lips and I thought I should try out their Color Riche line since it is on sale.
L'oreal lipsticks do not have the most pleasant scent but they do remind me of my mum's lipsticks. The scent is really strong but they do go off after application. Not everyone could bear the scent but I am fine with it. It is still bearable.

My camera does not even pick up the lipstick shade properly. I gave up trying to make my camera pick up the correct shades, it just refuses.

Left : Pink Fever
Right : Mistinguette

Mistinguette is a bright warm pink. It is very loud and bold.
Pink Fever is a beautiful medium pink. Very subtle and feminine.

Ole Summer : L'oreal 3 for 2 and Bourjois

The beauty shop near my hostel had a three for two sale on L'oreal, Maybelline and Ganier and also an offer for an item on Bourjois which I had my eyes on. It is a pretty good deal which I could not pass on, so, I ended up getting some items from the beauty store.

Bourjois Silk Edition Compact Powder, L'oreal Infailliable 24 hrs Matte Foundation, L'oreal le blush.

This is what I have picked up from the drugstore. I really had my eyes on the Bourjois Silk Edition Compact Powder after seeing Amelia Liana from Youtube sporting this powder.
Also, the whole youtube/beauty blogger world has been talking about this L'oreal Infaillible Foundation, I jumped the bandwagon and got one myself. The blushes, I wanted to make full use for the 3 for 2 offer and I was swatching  the blushers and really like the colours and texture, so I got two to fit the deal.

L'oreal Infaillible 24 Hrs Matte Foundation. If I am not mistaken it is called the Pro Matte in the US
My colour is in 11 Vanilla, the second lightest shade available. Actually I was torn between choosing 11 and 12. 11 leans more yellow and 12 more pink. After much consideration I went with 11 because the yellow undertone might suit to my Asian skintone better.

I haven't got the chance to test this foundation but I am definitely excited to try it out.

The Bourjois Silk Edition Compact Powder.
I am just so extremely thrilled when this powder went had an offer because I have been eyeing on this for the longest time.
I have good experiences with Bourjois' base products and there were a lot of great reviews about this powder out there. So, I guess that's what lead me to purchase this powder.

Let's talk about how beautiful the packaging is. It comes with a sleek black sturdy packing
The mirror, can be rotated 360 degrees all around and is in a good size.

The powder. I didn't remove the plastic flim on top just yet so pardon the reflection.
My shade is 52, which is the lightest available. I usually use shade 51 in Bourjois. I swatched it before purchasing it and it seems just fine on my Nc15-Nc20 skin but I am actually a little afraid that the powder will be dark on my face after the oxidation. I have to try out and see how it goes.

L'oreal le blush. I got the shade 140 and 105.
This blushes so smooth and soft to the touch that when I swatching it, I just went all 'ooh~ and ahh~' and before I could realize, these blushes are already in my shopping basket.

Left : 140 Right: 105
140 is a soft rose-beige with some peach undertones
105 is a straight up baby pink

From the picture you could see some fall outs. These blushes are really soft so it crumbles really easily. Just do not drop these blushes, they will shatter into a million pieces.

Swatches : Left : 140 Right : 105

The blush comes with a blush brush which most of the time I would not use. I prefer using my own blush brush. I still it is pretty nice for on the go.
It also comes with a small mirror, which can come handy.

Magic nude : Little haul

The L'oreal Nude Magique Eau de Teint has finally arrived in Moscow shores. I heard a lot of rave reviews about this foundation from the blogosphere and how much it compares to the Giorgio Armani Maestro Foundation.
Ofcourse, me being me, I couldn't not pick up this foundation. It would be almost sinful to not pick it up!
My shade is 100 Porcelain. I am not the fairest person on earth but I am in the lightest shade for this range for foundation. So girls who are lighter than me might not have a match in this range. By the way, I am a NC15-NC20 in my skintone.

The packaging for this foundation is very chic and classy with the frosted glass. It looks almost high end. The only downside about this foundation, there is no pump dispenser which increase the risk of spilling the foundation everywhere, making a great foundation mess.

Max Factor Color Elixir Lipsticks are on sale. I haven't tried Max Factor Lipsticks before, so I thought this is a good chance to try them out.

I got two colours from the range 735 Maroon Dust and 711 Midnight Mauve.
I found it really hard to get colours I like from this range as most finishes are either metallic or frosty. Metallic or Frosty finishes are my most hated finish for lipsticks, it makes me look as if I am stuck in the 80s or 90s. It doesn't look good on me at all.

After selecting for about an hour, I finally settled for these two colours.

Midnight Mauve is a purple-pink plum shade with slight shimmers. The shimmers do not bother me at all since upon application, the shimmers are barely visible.

Maroon Dust is one of the rare cream colour from the collection. It is a peachy nude with some orange tone.

The packaging is very expensive looking, it reminds me of Estee Lauder packagings because of the gold and the see through colour indicator at the bottom.

Hello October + Haul

Rive Gauche were having sales on the L'oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks. They went down to 369 roubles (around USD9) which is considered a great price over here since they usually retail from 447-469 roubles.

The L'oreal Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick is my favourite lipstick hybrid. They are so easy to apply and they feel like cushion on the lips. They glide on the lips like butter.
They aren't very long lasting, about 4 hours on my lips but when they are on the lips. They are really moisturizing and they feel so good.

Since they were on a sale, I thought I would pick them up and stock them up.

Call me a hoarder. I picked up 5 colours.

From left : Blushing Harmony, Fuschia Drama, Molto Mauce, Nude Vibrato and Nude Ballet.

From top : Nude Vibrato, Molto Mauve and Blushing Rose

Nude Vibrato is a beautiful peach nude. On my skintone, it doesn't wash me (for a reference I am a NC15-20)  out or look 'dead' but if you are darker than me, this shade can appear dead. Since it is a lighter colour, it appears slightly sheerer than the other shades.

Molto Mauve like its name , it is a mauve with silver iridescent shimmer. It is one of those "my-lips-but-better" colour.

Blushing Rose is a medium dusty rose. It is also a "my-lips-but-better' shade but with a hint of pink.

From top : Nude Ballet, Nude Vibrato and Fuchia Drama

Nude Ballet is a beige nude. Compared to Nude Vibrato, there's more brown tone as opposed to Nude Vibrato's peach tones.

Fuchsia Drama is a straight up fuchsia, not for the faint heart. I find fuchsia extremely flattering on Asian skintones, it hides the yellow tones of the skin and brightens the skintone nicely.

Rimmel 60 seconds nail varnishes were on sale too. Being the nail junkie I am, I couldn't resist picking them up.

From left : Ring a Ring o' Roses, Major Brown, Caramel Cupcake, Rose Libertine ,Out of the Blue

I love the formula of the 60 seconds nail varnishes. They do not dry in 60 seconds as claimed but they dry pretty fast, maybe slightly over 60 seconds. The brush is thick, making application very easy and fast and the colour selections is great.
I love how quirky the names are.

The last item is L'oreal Volume Million Lashes So Couture Mascara.

I have been on a mascara kick and since this was on sale, I just randomly pick it up to try it out. I have yet to try it out. I will review this item as I get my use out of it.

New favourite eyeshadows : L'oreal L'ombre Pure Eyeshadows

I picked up another two L'oreal Colour Rice L'ombre Pure Eyeshadow. From my previous post, you might have already know how much I love these drugstore eyeshadows. They are one of the most impressive if not most impressive drugstore eyeshadow I could ever used.
Reviews are also in that post.

So, I couldn't resist not picking up another two shades since they were on sale. It is a crime not picking them up.

L'oreal Colour Riche L'ombre Pure Eyeshadow Nude 200 Over The Taupe

Just like its name, it is a beautiful taupe. The beautiful average everyday wash of colour on the lid.
I am pretty safe with my eyeshadows, they are always in the neutral category aka my comfort zone.

L'oreal Colour Riche L'ombre Pure Nude 205 Sable Lame

This is a beautiful light brown-champagne colour. It makes one of the beautiful all over the lid colour.

Gold Mania (Left) and Over the Taupe (Right)

My happy family of my L'oreal Colour Riche L'ombre Pure Eyeshadows.

Little autumn loot

I wanted this post to be solely dedicated to the amazing L'oreal Colour Riche L'Ombre Pure Eyeshadows but at the same time I am do not want to do another post just for the Pupa lipgloss. So let's mesh everything into one.

The L'oreal Colour Riche L'Ombre Pure Eyeshadow. Ever since, it has been launched. Everybody including their grandmother and aunts have been talking about it, like it has been the most amazing product to be released in the decade.

Let me tell you. I now get the whole hype about it.

This gel to powder formula eyeshadow promises creamy and smooth texture which transforms the make-up gesture into a precise and comfortable sensory application.

L'oreal eyeshadows never fail me, since the "infallible 24hr eyeshadow". The Infallible hits the top list when it comes to drugstore eyeshadow and now this new L'oreal eyeshadow is joining the ranks with it.

The gel to powder eyeshadow feels wet to the touch but offers the most buttery application with intense colour pay off.
It glides like butter and the colour pay off is so amazing. One swipe is all you need.
The shade I picked up is a Lumiere formula in 500 Gold Mania. Gold Mania is the most gorgeous bronze-gold shade I have ever own. The shade has a very luxurious feeling. To add it on the packaging and the whole 'wave' design gave the eyeshadow an even more luxurious look, it looks very high-end cosmetic.
I will definitely go back to the cosmetic shop to collect other shades. I just wanna collect them all ( like a pokemon).

The most beautiful shade ever, It looks like melted bronze-gold in the pan.
So gorgeous and luxurious.

Pupa has been a brand I wanted to try for a long time. I was browsing along the Pupa counter and they had a clearance on their past collection.
I picked up a Shiny Lip Fluid from their 2013 Princess collection.

It comes in a gold packaging with a see through bit so that you can take a peek on the colour. The plastic is very sturdy and thick so the overall appearance is very luxurious and glamorous looking. It looks almost high-end.
I am in love with the packaging.
The shade I chose is 004 Nude Pink.

This is my first Pupa item. So I am excited to try out, this product will be the basis of my first impression on this chic Italian brand.

Autumn Haul & Hello September

Hello September, summer has gone by just like that. It is time to welcome the chilly autumn breeze and soon we see the leaves turn yellow and we will be dressed with our knitted sweaters.
September also marks a new school semester. Anyone excited?

Back in Moscow, so back to crappy lighting.

Wasn't suppose to haul anything in Moscow but Sally Hansen nail polishes were on sale and I brought back all my nail polishes back home during my summer vacation and I didn't bring any back over here.I am left with zero nail polishes so I thought I needed some.

I need to stop splurging. I spent too much during my summer vacation.
ps. A sephora + high end haul will come soon and you all will get the jazz about the splurging.

'Complete Salon Manicure' , the name just sounds so tempting. Who doesn't want salon nails from home, it saves the time visiting a nail parlour and also money. Money is what we are talking about.

I picked up three colours : Jaded, Shall We Dance? and Commander in Chic

Jaded is a mint green colour. I have lots of mint green and I shouldn't be getting anymore mint colours but this leans more green and muted with greyish tones. It is really soft and right up my alley!

Shall We Dance is a sheer pale light pink. A romantic colour and also an everyday nail colour on the go.

Commander in Chic is a taupe colour. Also one of my favourite colour in nail polishes. It just complements my skintone really well and it gives a very chic (just like its name) touch to daily looks.

The brush of the nail polish is flat and thick. This is how I like it, I find these type of brushes gives fast and easy application.

I have been a L'oreal mascara fan after trying the L'oreal Volumissime x5 Carbon Black. It gives me the most beautiful length and volume with no clumping but sadly it does smudge on me throughout the day, but for that length and volume I can't let go of it. So, I thought I would give another L'oreal mascara a go, hoping it performs like the L'oreal Volumissime Carbon Black without the smudging. The L'oreal Volume Million Lashes Noir and L'oreal Volumissime x4 Waterproof was on sale and I got it.
I like the packaging for L'oreal Volume Million Lashes, it is very chic and sleek. I am excited to try out this mascara.

Max Factor 2000 Calories Mascara. I heard lots about this mascara, since it is on sale, I thought I would give it a try. Have been loving the Max Factor False Lash Effect, hopefully this gives a somewhat same effect on my Asian lashes.

Little June Haul

I accompanied my blockmate to the beauty store which is probably one of the worst decisions I have made. Knowing me, It is impossible for me to leave the store without getting anything.
Guilty as charged. I came out the beauty store with three items.

The much raved Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream. My shade is in 31, I am pretty fair so this suits me just nice. I first heard about this CC Cream from Essiebutton and how much she likes it. I trust Essiebutton's opinions, so whatever she recommends, I just have to get it. This was the last tube  in the racks, I thought to myself, get it now or never since the beauty store is awful when it comes to restocking their products.
I swatched it on my hand and I pretty like the formula, it feels really lightweight. The coverage is light-medium, which is alright for my current skin condition. I am pretty excited to try it out.

L'oreal Volumisse Extra Black Mascara or as known in the US, L'oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara. I got this mascara because it was on sale. At the same, I got it because I wanted to try it and see whether is it worth all the hype. I am currently on the hunt to find a good lengthening + volumizing mascara since my favourite mascara, Maybelline TheMagnum is all done and I can't get this mascara at where I am currently. I know it is just weeks before I go back home for university break but before that, there's Summer Holidays and I want to look good in photos.

Essence Eyeliner Pen. I am going for a holiday soon and I do need a waterproof and smudge-proof eyeliner. My Maybelline Gel Eyeliner just smudges all over my eyes and by the end of the day, I would look like a panda. So I do hope this eyeliner stays and doesn't smudge, so I can look good in my travel photos.

Big fat collective haul #1

Well people, I do admit I have a shopping problem. It's pretty much overwhelming how much time I spend in the beauty stores of late. Guilty? Not guilty.

There is just something about the month of May, my mood has been so happy and I am just so into the mood of shopping, trying out new beauty stuffs. I blame the good weather and sunshine that we always lack in Moscow.

This is a collective haul. I didn't buy everything in one go. I probably have visited the stores about 10 times to collect enough items for this massive post.

I have so many items that I couldn't fit it all into one photo without looking too overbearing, so I have separated the items into groups.

This are the beauty stuffs.
There are a lot of deals and discounts going on in beauty stores and also hypermarkets. I couldn't help myself. I just went crazy and almost bought the whole store.
So here is the damage done.

I will go into detail with the products in a moment.

Nail polishes.

I have been on a nail polish frenzy! The photo explains it pretty much.

Lastly, the not so interesting items. Sunscreen and hair mousse.

Summer is coming around and the sun is scorching over here, it is like almost hitting 30 today, I can feel every cell on my skin sizzling.By the way there is no fan or air conditioning in my room, such pure torture.
So sunscreen is here for the rescue before I develop a tragic case of sunburn.
Looking like a lobster is not attractive at all.

Hair mousse, well, my hair has been pan flat especially at my scalp but the hairs at the ends or the grown bits (well, obviously I can't explain hair) are pretty much voluminous, so the shape of my hair is really weird. So I hope this mousse can help me with that problem.

Max Factor Facefinity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation.

I didn't mean to pick this up but it was like 50% off in the hypermarket which is totally a steal. This foundation retails quite steep in the beauty stores, they are one of the more expensive foundations. So when I came by this chance, I thought just grab it up.

I heard many rave reviews about the Covergirl 3 in 1 foundation. We don't get Covergirl outside of the USA, so we have to settle with the sister brand Max Factor. The concept is exactly the same and also it has many rave reviews too.

I picked up the shade in Warm Almond 45.

I get extremely nervous when I don't see the shade names start with a light or beige. Warm Almond sounds like a dark shade for me.
I sloppily swatched Warm Almond on my face and it seems like a good colour match. I didn't really take a good look in the colour match since the hypermarket was about to close. Oh yes, late night hypermarket journey.
It is lighest shade available there and the only shade on discount. So, take it or leave it.

I find the whole concept really interesting. A foundation, concealer and primer all in one.
I can't wait to try it out and see how it works.  If it works as it claims it is a great foundation since you don't need to spend extra bucks to buy a concealer and primer seperately.

The three Maybelline lipsticks I picked up.

Rive Gauche, a beauty chain over here is doing a 3 for 2 for L'oreal, Garnier and Maybelline. I couldn't resist this chance and I grabbed pretty much a whole lot of Maybelline and L'oreal items.

Let us take a moment and stare in awe at the beautiful nude chic packaging.

It has been a gruesome journey finding this lipstick from stores to stores. Now, my mission has finally accomplished.

Here comes the beautiful Maybelline lipstick in Tantalizing Taupe.

Tantalizing Taupe is a gorgeous pinky nude. It is one of those nudes that doesn't washes out.

I can see it becoming one of my favourite nudes from the drugstore.

Look at the holographic bands in the packaging.

Maybe not so obvious here.

Can see it now?

This is the Maybelline Watershine lipsticks. The watershine line just has too much glitter or frost going on but there's one colour that doesn't have any glitters or shimmers or anything crazy in it.

It is Juicy Bubblegum Pink.

Like its name it is a bubblegum pink. The formula is pretty much high shine so it is not very pigmented, it is more balmy like in texture.

The watershine line was on a deal at the beauty store near my store and I thought it would be rude not to pick this up since it is such a beautiful colour.

Here is a swatch of Juicy Bubblegum Pink and Tantalizing Taupe swatched on my hand.

The last Maybelline lipstick I picked up is Intense Pink.

This lipstick just does not match its name, it's pink but it is not intense at all.

It is a warm pink.

I also picked up two Maybelline Color Tattoos.

I picked up the two shades that I will definitely reach out for. Not into those crazy bright shades.

On and on bronze.

Likes its name, it is a beautiful bronze colour that will suit any occasion. It looks gorgeous by itself.
If you are only getting a shade from the Color Tattoo, get this one.

Pink Gold.

Pink Gold is such a gorgeous colour. The moment I swatched it I just knew I had to pick it up.
This colour reminds me of one of the colours in the Naked 3 Palette. It is super gorgeous.

This colour would look absolutely gorgeous on fair skin.

Here are the swatches on my hand.
From left : Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick in Intense Pink, Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze.

I can't seem to capture the colour properly but this is Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Pink Gold.

and yes, I picked up another Lasting Finish by Kate Moss.

I picked up 08.

08 is a mauve shade with brown undertones. It is one of the great MLBB colour and also a flattering everyday colour.

and because my Rimmel purchase was above 399rubles. I got a Vinyl Gloss for free!
I got it in the shade 240 Fall in Love.

It is a pink with a lot of micro glitters.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara

My current mascara is running low since this was on sale, i thought I did give it a try.

I have tried this mascara once, I don't know what I think about it yet, I think I was give it more tries before I know my conclusion about this mascara.

I picked up three of the L'oreal Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks.

The colours I got are 104 Dancing Rose, 102 Rose Finale and 101 Rose Melody.

I have been eyeing on these liquid lipsticks eversince they got released but I never really got into getting them because I was waiting for a deal on them.
So finally, I got them!

I haven't seen swatches on 102 Rose Finale on British or US  blogs, it might be a Europe only colour.

The liquid lipsticks come in a luxurious gold packaging that makes it feel very mature and high end.
The plastic at the side is coloured and it indicates the colour inside of the tube.

L'oreal Collection Privee by Julianne.

The Collection Privee lipsticks are nude lipsticks formulated based on their chosen ambassadors. The one I got is by Julianne Moore.
Everytime I step into the store, I will definitely swatch this lipstick up because the colour, is absolutely flattering on my skintone. I am by no means any close to Julianne's skintone but it is the most flattering amongst all the Collection Privee lipsticks I have swatched.

The lipstick is not exactly a nude like how we interpret nude coloured lipsticks. The nude here are my lips but better colour, nudes that bring out the complexion and brightens combining with factors like skintones, hair colour etc.

The lipstick packaging is luxurious with a matte black packaging ala NARS (Gets dirty easily!) and also gold printing of the lipstick and the ambassador herself.

Looks very high end and expensive. Well, the lipstick is expensive for a drugstore brand. I do find it quite steep in terms of pricing. Without a deal, I don't think I will pick it up.

Wait a second, or maybe I will because the shade is too gorgeous to resist.

Julianne's colour is Barely Peach. I would describe this colour as a mauve pink nude.

I think this colour is very flattering on almost everybody and anybody, no matter what skintone you are. It is a universal flattering colour.

Yves Rocher Summer 2014 Collection inspired by Mediterranean Sea Lipgloss in Copper Sun

The day when I was going to visit Yves Rocher. I stumbled upon a post on these on Musings on a Muse's website. She was talking about these glosses and how great it is for such a cheap pricetag.
When I was in the shop, I swatched these glosses and oh wow they feel very good and the price, I should say really afforable.

The colour that caught my eye the most amongst the three colours available is Copper Sun. I have never own a shade like this.
It is coppery bronze colour with gold flecks. It is a very bronzey summer tone that would look very flattering on a summer look.

The swatches of all three lipglosses.

If you have a Yves Rocher around, do go to the store and check their summer collection out, you might never know what you might find.

The Rimmel by Rita Ora range has been launched not too long ago over here.
Her nail polish collection caught my attention especially the nudes and pastels. I went a little crazy and got 5 colours from the range.

From left : Loose your Lingerie, White Hot Love, Let's get Nude, Breakfast in Bed and Pillowtalk.

So far I have tried two colours from the range on my nails.
The formula is pretty thick and it takes about two coats to achieve a creamy sheen colour on the nails. The formula isn't as great as the normal 60 seconds nail polishes but the colours are to die for

Pillowtalk.

Pillowtalk is a pastel baby blue colour.
I really love this colour, it's so cute. I get compliments wearing this colour.
I took 2 coats to achieve this finish.

White Hot Love

White Hot Love is a pure white. In the bottle there's sight of shimmers but the shimmers are barely there after applying the on the nails.
I took 2 coats to achieve an opaque white nail.
My friend kept teasing me it looks like I have used Tip-ex to paint my nails but I like it so I don't care.
I have been trying to search for a white nail polish since one that doesn't apply streaky is hard to come by. This applies streaky at the first coat but at the 2nd coat, it is an opaque white, so I think I will settle with this white nail polish.
They are pretty long lasting. Usually these Rimmel nail polishes last me for a week before it chips.

4 cheap nail polishes from the hypermarket and Essence Colour & Go in Chic Reloaded

The nail polishes from the hypermarket are dirt cheap and they come in nice colours but yesterday when I went to the hypermarket, they are all gone and they didn't restock it at all.

The periwinkle blue on my nails.

The colour is pretty but they chip after 2-3 days which I can't complain for such cheap nail polish. It is still great it can last 2 to 3 days since I do washing quite frequently.

That's all I got for my haul this time. Pretty huge isn't it?
Thanks for reading till the end.
