Aliexpress haul #3

I am back with another Aliexpress haul. This time around I did not just pick up only makeup items but lots of other miscellaneous items.

From the previous Aliexpress haul post, one would know that how much I dislike the Anastasia Beverly Hills replica.
These are not the replica despite looking similar to it. It is the Anastasla Dragon liquid lipstick, kinda like a rip off . I like the shade selection of these much more compared to the original replica.
There were much more nude selections.

I picked up 3 shades, from left : #2, #14 and #13

I like this formulation way much better. They do not get as crumbly or patchy on the lips. They are 200 times better than the replica Anastasia Beverly Hills. Still you get what you pay more. They can be slightly tacky as they dry but for me, the tackiness is quite unnoticeable. If it bothers you, you can always set it with translucent powder to get the tackiness off.
I will say the formulation is even better than brands like ahemGerardCosmeticsahem.

I love the shades from this line. They are so pretty.

Mink eyelashes.
I doubt they are really made out of mink but the quality and style of eyelashes are beautiful. I got these lashes mainly because I will have a few functions to attend and I just wanted incorporate some eyelashes into my look.

The Kylie Liquid Lipstick replica in Posie K.

I got it together with my replica Kylie Liquid Lipstick in Candy K but this arrived much later.

Suede tie choker.

It is much cheaper to get these choker from Aliexpress. I just did not want to spend so much money getting one from Lovisa or Diva.

Marie Beauty Eye Cream

I have been using this glue for the longest time for my false eyelashes. It is literally the super glue for makeup. Once it is on, it is really on. It doesn't budge or move. I have tried so many other false eyelash glue and it still come back to this glue.
I have been really loyal to this glue eversince I started wearing false eyelash circa 2011. It saves me from falsies mishaps, it is just that strong. At the same time it is really easy to remove. Also, it is so affordable.

That's all for my Aliexpress haul this time around. I did not get too many items like the 2nd round.

New wedge trainers

Adidas is having a 50% off their past season collection. They had this sale since October and it is on-going till now but most sizes and designs have been sold out.
I am not a trainers person. I am glad to own one trainer and wear all year long till it is gone. But, I am also intrigued with the wedge design. We girls just love our high heels or any sort of tool to elevate our height, giving us an illusion of longer legs. High heels in disguise.

I got to know Adidas was having 50% off store wide from people around me. I dived in and searched for things to get from the store and I came across wedge trainers. There is not many designs offered and left in store but there's on that caught my eye.
Wedge trainers has been an item I want to try all these while. I thought they are a perfect 'cheat' item for girls.

Since there is not many choices left, it was no hard task to decide which pair I want.
I got the Adidas Neo Wedges.

I like the design, it is not sporty at all, I am not a sporty girl so I don't like when the design gets too sporty to the extend boyish, the suede-like material gives it a casual look that it can be paired with everything , shorts, dresses, jeans. The leopard print gives it a wild and sexy touch.
I tried these Adidas wedge trainers in stores and it was really comfortable, I couldn't feel the wedges and forgot the fact it is high heels at all. I was comfortable running in it, jumping in it.

I got them for 1995 Rubles which is a steal.
I am really happy with my pair of wedge trainers.

Autumn clothing haul

Clothes in Moscow can be very expensive. So last autumn, I made a haul online so I could get cute and fashionable autumn clothing and bring them back this autumn.

I picked up about 5 autumn wears and 2 dresses. They didn't cost me too much. I spent around USD100 or maybe less for all of them.

The first item I picked up is a cream coloured knitted top with lace at the bottom. I find the lace gave the sweater a cute, sweet, girlish look.

A pink sweater with a peplum.

This has got to be my favourite in the bunch! The jewel detailing at the collar just added something to the top, it made it look more expensive than it is.
The jewel detailing doesn't look off or tacky on the collar.

This top is very edgy with the zipper detailing and flowy fabric coming out of it. My mum likes this one the most.

Dress with geometric patterns. I find quirky and cute.

A cute beige dress.

There are more clothing hauls to come soon. Stay tune.
I got my clothings all from Qoo10.com.my .

Spring Flowers : Bourjois, Maybelline,Essence, Shoes

Happy Easter to those celebrating it.

Weather has turn to the warm side in Moscow this weekend and it is time to dump away the winter jackets to something more light and airy. Let's hope the weather stays as it is through the next week.

This is going to be another haul post.
I stopped by Riv Gauche and they were having offer on their Borjois Shine Edition lipsticks. We know how pricey Bourjois' lipsticks can be for a drugstore brand. I wouldn't pay for it if it were on full price.

Taking advantage of the offer, I bought two of the shine edition lipstick. The one in the red tube is from Maybelline.

The first colour I got is in 22 Famous Fuchsia.

Famous Fuchsia is a straight up fuchsia.

Due to the high shine formulation, the colour isn't as bold as it is in the tube but it is shows great pigmentation.
It gives the lips a bright pink glow.

The other colour I got is 24 Rose xoxo

Rose xoxo is a rose pink with silver shimmers.

Everytime I go to the shop, I would keep going back to the Bourjois stand to swatch this colour. This colour is the colour that caught my eyes the most from the Bourjois Shine Edition Collection.
Previously when I went to the shop, there isn't any offer on this colour but since there's offer for this colour now, I took advantage of the offer and pick this colour.

The pigmentation isn't as great as Fiery Fuchsia but it gives the lips a nice rosy glow. The shimmers do transfer to the lips. So to those who doesn't like anyform of shimmers or glitters, I do not recommend this lipstick. To those looking for a high shine, moisturizing lipstick, this is the one to look for.

The texture can be compared to the Revlon Lip Butters.

Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipstick in Pink Beige

I fell in love with this colour when I swatched it. It is such a beautiful nude.
Nude usually washes most people out but this nude is a MLBB nude. It has the correct amount of pinks and browns which doesn't wash people out but enhances. It is extremely gorgeous.
This will be more of a MLBB colour on fair tone girls but girls with medium tones, this would be an extremely flattering nude.

The formulation is great. It glides on the lips like butter. It is a luxurious balmy feel, it feels very high end on the lips which is unexpected for an affordable lipstick.
Most shades are either too metallic or shimmery which aren't of my liking but I have my eyes on the colour 'Windsor Rose'. I would go back to pick up that colour.

I stopped by the beauty shop near the Metro and they have Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow which I have been wanting in stock and unswatched.
I got so happy and just picked this baby home.

Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow in 03 Frosted Apple.

Frosted Apple is a shimmery and metallic baby pink with gold shimmers.

The eyeshadow glides very easily like butter and it is very pigmented., the colour payoff is of a pressed pigment.
I would say it is very great beauty budget buy. If you are looking for cheap eyeshadows with easy application and great colour payoff. This is the eyeshadow to go to.
I am definitely picking up more shades from the Metal Glam line when the 15% off offer kicks in.

It's spring, it's time for me to get some new shoes to kick spring.
After trying from many shops, I finally settled with a pair of boots and a pair of ballet flats from Bershka.

Brown suede boots.

They are very casual looking and really cute. The brown matches my skin tone very well and the design of the boots elongates my short limbs which make my whole body proportion look better.

The design is plain but the buckle at the side of the boots does add an accent of the boot.

Lace ballet flats

I love this flats so much! it is just too cute. I just knew that I had to get it when I saw it.
The lace details just adds on a girly look to everything worn.

A closer look in the lace.
It is so pretty, I am so in love.

Flush of Burgundy

October has been a decent month so far. My classes are not as hectic and I find most of my time procrastinating and zoning off.
I am sorry I have not been able to post anything productive or interesting on this blog, it is because I am having a writer's block. I just do not know what to post and how to write an interesting post anymore.

This week is a great week for a figure skating fan like me, it is full of competitions and it's great to see my favourite skaters coming back from off-season. Off-season was killing me, I am glad summer vacation was there to keep me occupied.
I am planning to go to Rostelecom Cup and Sochi Olympics. I do not if I can manage to especially for the olympics but I am trying my best, ticket sales open next week. I am getting ready my money and hopefully there's still seats, hotel and transportation for me. I am doing a great sacrifice for this, I am skip 3 days of class for this. It's a once in a life time experience.

So since it has been practically freezing in Moscow. I did some shopping.

I picked up only one item to accompany me through the cold days
It's a simple burgundy knit sweater.

Burgundy has been the 'in' colour this season. Everything is about burgundy. Burgundy lipsticks, burgundy eyeshadows, burgundy jumpers, burgundy blouse, all burgundy.

I really like burgundy, it complements on my skintone really well.

Dresses and laces

A very simple FOTD.

I usually just switched up the products I use but apply it in the same technique.

Here, i am using the Lunasol Water Cream Foundation, this is one of my favourite foundation. It is a 60% water-base cream foundation, so it feels very light on the skin with a medium to high coverage.
It blends like a dream too. It blends so effortlessly and smoothly.

The finish is dewy.

Topping it off with ELF Tone Correcting Powder in Shimmer.

Lip colour is from ELF Studio Conditioning Lip Balm Spf 15 in Blissful Berry.
This lip balm is so pigmented. It works like any other normal lipbalm but gotta love it for its pigmentation.

Now to a fashion haul.

This has to be my best purchase from an online shop.
To my surprise, the quality of the clothes are really great for the price I paid and shipping is pretty fast and it was sent under courier.

Nautical design dress.
There's suppose to be a ribbon belt matched with it but I didn't took the picture of the belt because I am too lazy to tie it on.

That's my pore brush hanging right over there!

This dress is really cute!
The material is chiffon and it is really really soft.

A closer look.

My favourite out of all the three purchases I made.
A lace dress.

I am really into laces.

A closer look.

The only thing I have to complain is the size I ordered is loose on me, usually online sizes run much smaller but this doesn't. The online measurement are a little confusing.
I should had ordered M but It is okay, I could work with L.

Round Sunnies

Just got the news that laptop might be ready by tomorrow and there's no problem with it but...but.. the screen is blank everytime I turn it on.

Hopefully it is true that there's no problem with it and it was just a minor glitch.

Here comes a FOTD.

Isn't this sunglasses so cute and cool? I fell in love with it when I first saw it.
It slightly resembles the Topshop one that I wanted so badly at half of the price.

Have been looking around for round sunglasses, glad I got one for myself.

I have been very non-experimental with looks. Most of the time staying in my comfort zone.

The base makeup used here is the L'oreal Lumi Magique and ELF Tone Correcting Powder in Shimmer.
The shimmers from the Tone Correcting Powder doesn't transfer well on to the face so it doesn't leave a disco ball look, it gives the face a nice touch of sheen to the face, leaving a dewy look.
The oil control is good and it doesn't transfer or cake up.
At USD3 this powder is definitely worth it. I have been using this powder for the week since I started using it.

Lipstick is Wet n Wild in 505A. A nice fuchsia.
I am really into hot pinks, fuchsia, bright orange kind of colour for my lips this spring and summer. It just brighten my whole look.

laptop down

My laptop is going under a breakdown, most of my blogging materials are in that laptop.

Blogging will slow down till I fix that laptop and retrieve my materials from that laptop.

To make this post unboring.

Got two sunglasses yesterday from Vincci. I didn't know they were on sale till I went to pay. When they cashier told me the amount I had to pay, I was like all "oh yes!'

Actually I like the ones from Topshop better but I wouldn't pay RM89 for a pair sunglasses because I am a cheapo like that.

hello spring

Haven't been out for a small shopping trip for the longest time ever.
Since May Holiday is next Wednesday and I don't have any big and heavy subjects on Monday and Tuesday, took the chance to go out for a small shopping trip and also food trip, went out for Chinese food. Having Chinese food is one

Here's a FOTD
The makeup is really light. I used the Lush Colour Supplement in Light Yellow as my foundation topped of with a light powdering of Rimmel's Stay Matte.
For my eye makeup, I just tightlined my eye, applied mascara and highlighted my undereye.
For lips, it is the Maybelline PopStick in Tropical Pink, I really love this lipstick, it gives my lips a pink tint that last all day.

I went to Pull & Bear and this was love. Love at first sight.
Pink Trenchcoat which I always wanted. It isn't easy to find such a pink trench coat over here. Usually it is always black, dark blue, beige, brown.
When I saw this, I just knew I had to get it.

What is Spring without flower headband.
I just have to picked up new headbands to welcome spring. Both headband are really cute!

Now I am all ready to gear up for Spring .

Travel Diary :Day 2 in UK - Oxford

The next stop is the historical prestigious city of Oxford.

Martyrs' Momument

The Graduation hall

The Harry Potter mark inspiration.

The hall they use to film the hospital scene in Harry Potter.

The inspiration for Nearly Headless Nick

The library

Then we head down the streets of Oxford to buy Oxford shirt and jumpers!

The shop I bought my goodies from.

When you go Oxford, you need an Oxford shirt.
I chose a simple grey one. It is  £4.99.

A pink Oxford jumper. I have a pink jumper already but I couldn't resist a light peachy-pink jumper.
It is  £14.99 (If I am not mistaken)
