FOTD : Valentine's look

I thought of sharing this Valentine's FOTD since I did try out a lot of items that I haven't talked before on this blog for this look and I managed to capture decent pictures on my camera.

Base :
Banila Co. Prime Primer in Hydrating Shimmer
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation
Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer
3CE Loose Powder
Catrice Prime and Fine Professional Contouring Palette 010 Ashy Radiance
MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC20
Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts Blush in Candy Queen of Hearts
Violet Voss Pro Highlighting Palette

Eyes :
ELF Mineral Eye Primer
Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette
Aritaum Mono Eyes in 25 Dress Code
Innisfree Gel Liner in #7
Mee Eyeliner in Brown
Maybelline The Magnum Mascara

Lips:
Dragon lipstick in #13 (Anastasia dupe version)

The shade I used for the Charlotte Tilbury Foundation is in 4 which is a tad dark for me but when I went to Selfridges to get it, the lady did say it was a perfect match for me. Anyway after blending out, it looks bearable on my skin, it is just a tinge dark on me.

I have a hormonal pimple today so I had to dig out my MAC concealer which I have not touched for ages for the pimple. Well it sort of did its job. I am actually not a big fan of this concealer because I find it a little dry. It kinda works for spot conceal since you do not hope for anything too creamy that will slip off mid-day.

I think it is the first time mentioning about the Catrice Prime and Fine Professional Contouring Palette. Today I used the contouring side to slightly contour. I like it since it's not too dark nor too heavy on the skin. It is a nice natural contour shade just to give a little shade to the face.

I love the Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette very much. The eyeshadows are very smooth, soft, buttery and pigmented. Even so, I still think the eyeshadows can be not beginner friendly and difficult to use. For me, as much as I love this palette, it is not my everyday go to palette nor eyeshadow as they can be too pigmented. Usually I end up with disastrous makeup look when I am not careful while using this palette.I will accidentally pick up too much product and it ruins the whole eyelook.I do not know if you all are getting what am I trying to say. I prefer using very natural soft shades and palettes that are a no brainer to use on day to day basis.

For this look I used the shades Golden Ochre for my whole lid, Burnt Orange on the crease, Red Ochre at the outer V with Venetian Red too redden the look up and Cyprus Umber to darken it a tad bit.
Another eyeshadow I used is the Aritaum Mono Eyes in Dress Code at the center of my lid to give a pop.

By the way, I love the brush that comes with the palette. I think this is the first time liking a brush that comes with a palette or any palette. I really enjoy the brush, it's really good. Both sides of the brush are the right size for my eye.

For my lips, I am using an Ebay liquid lipstick. It is not a fake, the packaging just look like the Anastasia Beverly Hills' liquid lipstick but nowhere states it is claiming to be the ABH liquid lipstick and it does not come with a box like the ABH's.  I seriously think that this does blow a lot of liquid lipstick off the water. For the price, it's amazing. I really like the formula. It's not sticky, it dries completely matte and it is very comfortable on the lips.
I really love this shade, it's a dusty pink shade.

FOTD: Nudes

Face : Etude House Face Conditioning Cream, Maybelline Dream Satin Fluid, Catrice Matt Plus Powder, Catrice Camouflage High Coverage Liquid Concealer, Essence Me & My Ice Cream Blush, Flomar Terracotta Powder in Dual Gold
Eyes : Ellefar Glitter Eyeshadow in Brown, Catrice Absolute Nude Palette, Rimmel Scandal'eyes liquid eyeliner, Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara, Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara, Maybelline Brow Satin, Kiss Me Eyebrow Mascara
Lips : Me Now Liquid Lipstick in #18

I think I grew to kinda liking the Maybelline Dream Satin Fluid. It feels light on the skin. The only thing I noticed is in the end of the day the foundation clings to dry spots.
I have been loving the Me Now Liquid Lipstick in #18. This shade is just so gorgeous. I have using this shade to death. The liquid lipstick dries down very tacky but I have found a way to make it less tacky by dusting translucent powder all over my lips. It reduces the tackiness. Great liquid lipstick for USD1. I can't complain much.

FOTD & EOTD : Birthday Lunch

It was my birthday lunch and I decided to do something different and more elaborate for my makeup look. So, today, I am going to share with you my makeup look.

Face:
L'oreal Sunscreen
Banila Co. Prime Primer in Hydrating Shimmer
Lunasol Water Cream Foundation in OC2
MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural
NYX Bronzer Daydream of Maui
Bourjois Blusher Rose D'or
Aliexpress ABH illuminator
MUFE Mist & Fix

Eyes :
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Pupa Vamp! Wet & Dry Eyeshadow in 201
NYX Ultra Pearl Mania in Mink Pearl
NYX Ultra Pearl Mania in Walnut Pearl
Aritaum Mono Eyes in #25 Dress Code
Maybelline Volum' Express Mascara in Brown
Mee Brightly Shine Eyeliner in Brown
Maybelline Brow Satin
Kiss Me Eyebrow Mascara
Ebay/Aliexpress Fake Eyelashes in 216

Lips :
Kylie Lip Kit in Posie K

My eyelash application is not the best, I am still trying.
These are the most natural fake eyelash I ever got from Ebay. I am so in love. These are 8mm long, they are more suited to Asian eyes. They are just the most natural design and length to give an extra "oomph" to the eyes without looking overmade. Too long and voluminous of a eyelash can look too heavy on the eye and make one too tired or sleepy. Should had used a black mascara because up close you could see the difference in colour between my real lashes and falsies.
I am so in love with the Lunasol Water Cream Foundation. It is a great foundation for dry skin, the finish is dewy, it is so lightweight and moisturizing and it does not cling on to my dry patches. It last long on my skin, about 10 hours wear without breaking up or fading.
I have been shopping my stash lately, and I found these NYX Ultra Pearl Mania which are probably ancient in makeup years. I do not know if anyone still remembers them. Love these eyeshadows, I just forgot how great they are. I just don't really use them because they are messy to work with. This is always the case with loose eyeshadows.

FOTD : photosession

The other day I had a photo session with the housemates and this is the look I had for the photoshoot.
For occasions as such , I usually put more effort in my makeup.

Base :
Nivea Men's Post Shave Balm
Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation
MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural
Catrice Camouflage Concealer
Catrice Lip and Cheek Colour in Picked Cherry Blossom
Flormar Terracotta Powder in Dual Gold
Essence Soooo Glow highlighter
Makeup Forever mist and fix

Eyes :
Catrice Aboslute Nude Palette
Essence Mono Eyeshadow in Triple choc
Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner
Maybelline Big eyes Mascara
Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara
Maybelline Brow Satin in Dark Brown
Kiss Me Eyebrow Mascara

Lips :
Essence lipliner in Satin Mauve
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Nude-ist

Nails :
OPI - Center of the You-niverse

I really love Chanel's foundation. After neglecting it for quite some time, after reusing it again, I just found my love back for it. Always so seamless and wonderful.
To hold my makeup through the cold windy weather, the Nivea Men's Post-shave balm and MUFE mist and fix helps to lock in the makeup. Makeup setting sprays are mot something I often go to since I am very forgetful.

I have a use for the Rimmel Wonder'full mascara which I dislike. Since it weighs down my lashes so much with its wet and thick formula, it is good for my undereye lashes since it 'pulls' my bottom eyelashes down to make it appear longer.Just that it is so wet that it can smudge easily, so I have to be really careful when I apply it.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet are one of my favourite matte lipsticks.
I have a few of them but I can see myself picking up more

FOTD : new products + short review

For this FOTD I have tried out quite a few new products. I will give a product breakdown and then I will go more in depth into the products I am using.

Face : Nivea Men Post-shave balm, Essence Pure Nude Foundation, Catrice All Matt Powder, Flormar Terracotta Powder in Dual Gold, Daiso Pink Blush
Eyes : Catrice Camouflage High Coverage Concealer, Essence I love nude eyeshadow in Coffee Bean, Art Deco in 373, Catrice Absolute Nude Palette, Rimmel Scandaleyes Precision Micro Eyeliner, Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara, Catrice Eyebrow Pencil, Kiss Me Eyebrow Mascara
Lips : L'oreal Infalliable Mega Gloss in 110 " I got the power"

If anyone is interested in the nail polish I am using, it is China Glaze's Pink-ie Promise.

First, I am gonna start talking from the base products.
The Essence Pure Nude Foundation. From the name of this product, I would expect the product to deliver a flawless skin-like finish.
Did it deliver? Yes.
The finish is very skin-like it is because this foundation runs very sheer. The texture is very runny. The coverage is very sheer, it is just to even out skintone, it does not cover anything at all.
You need a perfect skin to rock this foundation if not, every small red spot is going to peep through. It doesn't cover even the slightest spot. I used about one and a half pump of this foundation for my whole face and usually I use half to a pump. I was applying this foundation and the coverage is so sheer so I layered on a little more. It layers on nicely, no caking but still the coverage do not seem to build up.
Do I like this foundation? I would love it when my skin is on a good day like this time around where I do not need to cake on the foundation.
Would I repurchase? No. I think there's so many better drugstore foundation in the market who gives a slightly more coverage and provides a skin-like finish.

The next new product I used is the Catrice All Matt Powder. This powder seems to work great as a setting powder for me. I just swirl very little in the pan and powdered over my face with a kabuki brush.
Is it mattifying? I can't give an opinion because my skin is quite dry. Although it seems to hold my makeup in place and there isn't any shine at my nose which I usually get slightly oily throughout the day.
It does not leave me looking powdery or cakey though which I do appreciate.

It is my first time using the Rimmel eyeliner I purchased. I was so sloppy in the application. The tip is fine but flexible so I had a hard time controlling it since I am so used to the Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner's harder felt tip.
This eyeliner is very easy to use, the tip is really which makes every stroke precise. Shade wise, the black is not very black. You can see it is still slightly translucent. The eyeliner stays put all day though.

Also, I think I am really hating the Rimmel Wonder'full mascara right now. Have been using it a few times and from this photo I could see how horrendous it is on my lashes. It clumps really badly and it weighs down my lashes like no other.
I will go back using either L'oreal or Maybelline. These two brands have been doing it so far for me when it comes to the mascara department.

L'oreal Infalliable Mega Gloss in 110 ' I got the Power'

Such a beautiful lipgloss. This shade is a pinky-brown nude shade. It is absolutely gorgeous.
Texture wise I love how cushiony this lipgloss feels.
It is not sheer. It gives enough colour to the lips.

The weather ha been really cold here, like -10 or lower. So, I find myself grabbing glosses more since they are more moisturizing.

FOTD : Chinese new year + Birthday celebration

This look is a little sloppy since I was in a hurry. It took about 15 minutes to do my look. Usually I take longer because I want to be more precise with my brows and eyeliner.

Face : Etude House Face Conditioning Cream, L'oreal Nude Magique foundation, Maybelline Dream Lumi Highlighting Concealer, Catrice All Matt Plus Shine Control Powder, Flormar Terracotta Powder in Dual Gold, Essence Me & My Ice Cream Cream Blush, Essence Soooo Glow Highlighter in 010.
Eyes : Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner in Black, Rimmel Wonder'full mascara, Catrice Absolute Nude Eyeshadow Palette, Essence Mono Eyeshadow in Triple Choc
Lips : Essence lipliner in Satin Mauve

Such sloppy eyeliner application. I thought I would do it better with the Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner but no, it looks so messy. Luckily from afar, no one can tell the application is so sloppy.
This eyeliner is drying up, I am just using it to its last leg so that I can throw it in the bin soon. You can already see that the black is not very black anymore.
I can't decide if I like this eyeliner or not after using it for such a long time. It's a not bad eyeliner. The felt tip is sturdy and it is very easy to control but it kind of fades away mid-day and it dries down slow because when I draw my liner before curling my eyelashes, the line will just 'stick' on the curler and half of line will be gone. I always wait to curl my lashes after I am done with my whole face, the liner still does the same.

Essence lip liner in Satin Mauve.
Love this lipliner. Go get yourself some.

FOTD : About that primer...

After using the Nivea Men Post-Shave Balm as a primer for sometime, I guess now it is the perfect time to talk about this product.
I can't just rave enough about this primer.
I never seen my makeup stayed on my skin so beautifully even after being out the whole day. It has got to be the best primer I have ever used. It beats most of the primers I own and the best thing, it is so affordable.
You only need a tiny pea size each application, this product could last awhile with its 100ml content.

This is me with m makeup after a whole day out. The base makeup stayed on beautifully. I haven't notice any creasing or fading.
The foundation I used is one of my favourite drugstore foundation which is of the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation.
It blended so well with my skin, it just looks like a second skin. With the primer, I feel like it blended better and it helps the foundation melt into my skin creating a soft glow finish.

Here's the breakdown of products I used
Base : Nivea Men Post-Shave Balm, Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation, MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural, Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer, Catrice Lip and Cheek Colour, Flormar Terracotta Powder
Eyes : Catrice Absolute Nude Palette, Essence Mono Eyeshadow in Apricotta, Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner, Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara, Catrice Eyebrow Pencil, Kiss Me Eyebrow Mascara
Lips : Rimmel Vinyl Lipgloss in Fall in Love

This time I winged out my eyeliner a little.

From the close up, you could see how flawless my skin looks.

FOTD : Valentines special

This is a soft feminine dewy look that I have put on during Valentine's day. Every shade used is soft and neutral with a touch of soft pink on the lips.

Face : Nivea's Men Post Shave Balm, Dr. G BB Cream, Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer, MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural, Topshop Glowstick, Catrice Lip & Cheek Colour from their limited edition Neo Geisha collection in Pickled Cherry Blossom, Flomar Terracotta Powder in Dual Gold, Etude House Nymph Aura Glow Mist
Eyes : Art Deco Single Eyeshadow in 373, Catrice Absolute Nude Palette, Essence I love nude eyeshadow in Coffee Bean, Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner, Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara, Catrice eyebrow pencil, Kiss Me Eyebrow Mascara
Lips : NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Istanbul

It turns out that I do not like the Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner. Despite the tip being really fine, I find that it is really hard to control the tip, it sort of like bends everywhere causing my eyeliner line to be unclean. Not gonna repurchase this eyeliner ever again.

Art Deco Single Eyeshadow in 373 looks beautiful in the pan, a light beige with gold glitters but upon application the glitters don't stay put and explodes all over with some fallouts which is pretty disappointing. Essence I Love Nude Eyeshadow in Coffee Bean, so far, I have been liking this eyeshadow, it's velvety and pigmented. Definitely a bang for the buck.

I definitely love the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, They are one of my favourite lip product. I really like the texture, it is very soft and powdery like cotton puff on the lips.
Istanbul has been one of my favourite shade from the line. It is a soft pink.

FOTD : That Birthday Outing

It has been a long time since I did a FOTD. To be honest, It has been almost a month since I last applied makeup. I haven't been going out aside from grocery shopping and running some minor errands, so, I am letting my skin breath and take a break from makeup.

For my eyemakeup, I has been all the same products, using all over and over again.
I am such a boring person. Sometimes I even feel there is no point talking about the products I use form my eye makeup.
For my eyeshadow I applied the Essence Effect Eyeshadow in 06 UK's Stonehedge with Catrice Absolute Nude Eyeshadow Palette. Mascara is the L'oreal Volumissime x5 for my top lashes and Maybelline Volum' Express Cat Eyes Mascara for my bottom my bottom lashes. My eyeliner is the Maybelline Master Precise in Black.

I look pretty white washed in this picture, well, that is because of the lighting.
For my base, I applied the Etude House Face Conditioning Cream in Light and L'oreal Nude Magique Foundation. This is also one of my favourite foundation from L'oreal. Drugstore wise, I feel that Bourjois, L'oreal and Rimmel releases the best drugstore foundations, honorary mention to Max Factor too , I quite like their Facefinity foundation on days I need more coverage. On my better skin days, I definitely lean towards the L'oreal Nude Magique. It gives a very natural second skin finish look.
I set my foundation with the MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural. My blush and bronzer is the Vivienne Sabo Blush Duo in #13 and Highlighter is the Essence Sooo Glow Highlighter in #10.
Eyebrows is the Catrice Eye Brow Stylist in Date with Ash-Ton. My undereye concealer is the 3CE Full Coverage Concealer.

For my lips .I am using the Essence Lipliner in Satin Mauve.
It is a muted dusty rose with mauve undertones.

FOTD : Valentine's Day Special

I am still very boring and pretty much in my comfort zone with my eye makeup. I am still sticking with my usual makeup products for my eye makeup, no experimenting thus the same old look. This eye makeup is more tone down than my usual eye makeup with the brown eyeliner. Brown eyeliner usually gives a more feminine and elegant look instead of the harsher black.
On the other note, Essence Effect Eyeshadow has been my favourite drugstore cream eyeshadow. If you haven't tried them, you just have to.

The products used :
Catrice Eyebrow Stylish in Date with Ash-ton
Essence Effect Eyeshadow in UK's Stonehedge
Catrice Absolute Nude Eye Palette
Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara
Maybelline Volum' Express Cat Eyes Mascara
Maybelline Hyperliner in Brown
3CE Full Coverage Concealer

I finally am back with one of my favourite drugstore foundation the Catrice Nude Illusion Foundation. I have abandoned this poor thing for 2 weeks since I didn't bring it along with me for the holidays, I brought along my other favourite which is the L'oreal Nude Magique. I set the foundation with the ELF Tone Correcting Powder in Shimmer.
I am just in a glowy mood that day thus the powder choice.

For my blush and contour , I used the Vivienne Sabo Blush Duo. Many might not have heard about this brand because I haven't seen this brand out of Russia. It is an average quality blush duo, it is pigmented but the fall-outs is pretty scary. It flies everywhere. Highlighter is the Essence Soo Glow in 10.

For my lips. It is the Max Factor Lipstick in Midnight Mauve.

This Valentine's look is budget friendly. All items used are from the drugstore or products in the drugstore prices range. Who says we can't look lovely and expensive with drugstore items.
I like how most drugstore products has step up on their game and some products' finishes are even on par with high-end products.

FOTD : Getting ready for Rostelecom Cup

Rostelecom Cup is a once in a year hang out for a figure skating fan like me. So here's how I did my makeup for the outing.

I have been loving the Essence Effect Eyeshadow in UK's Stonehedge. It's amazing!
A cheapie but a goodie. That's how I call it.
All I need is a small dollop, to cover my whole lids and it immediately gives a nice colour and shimmer shine to my eyelids.

Products used for eyes :
L'oreal Volumissime x4 Mascara
Maybelline Volum' Express Cat Eyes Mascara
Essence Effect Eyeshadow in UK's Stonehedge
Stila Smudgestick waterproof eye liner in Stingray
Etude House Drawing Eye Brow
3CE Full Cover Concealer

I keep the products very minimal and bare.

Even for my face, I try to tone it down, being very lighthanded with every product I used. Of late I am just very into the bare and natural makeup look.

Face products used :
Etude House Face Conditioning Cream
Catrice Nude Illusion Foundation
ELF Tone Correcting Powder in Shimmer
The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder in 01
Essence Me & My Ice-cream Cream Blush in Ice Bomb
Topshop Glowstick

The lipstick I used this time is Rimmel Moisture Renew in Notting Hill Nude.

This nude is just so fantabulous on my skintone. It is a neutral with a hint of pink.
It is one of new favourite nudes. I looks very good on my skintone.

FOTD : First trip to Bolshoi Theater

Going to Bolshoi Theater has been a dream since I arrived Moscow. I will keep the post about Bolshoi later. Now let's focus on my makeup for that day.

My EOTD

I just want to rave about Essence Effect Eyeshadow. They are really pigmented a little drop goes a long way and they just stay on the eyelid without a primer. They would not budge or crease. Essence just really had step up on their game for cream eyeshadows.
This eyeshadow might not be for those who doesn't like shimmer because it is a shimmer bomb. I do love shimmer in my eyeshadow, it gives dimension to my eyes.
This eyeshadow is just so gorgeous.

Products used for eye makeup :
Essence Effect Cream in UK's Stonehedge
Catrice Absolute Nude Eyeshadow Palette
Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara
Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner
Maybelline Volum' Express Cat Eyes Mascara
Etude House Drawing Eyebrows

Catrice Beautifying Lip Smoother in Cake Pop

I have been really liking this lipgloss. It is really smooth and creamy. It keeps my lips moisturized for a long time.

Face makeup :
Catrice Nude Illusion Foundation
MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural
The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder
Essence Me & My Icecream Blush in Ice Bomb
TopShop Glow Stick
3CE Full Coverage Concealer
Etude House Conditioning Face Cream in Light

This is my first time trying Catrice Nude Illusion Foundation. So far I am impressed with the consistency and finish.

Birthday FOTD

I can't just express how much I am impressed with the L'oreal Million Lashes Noir Excess Mascara, because oh wow It just made me went from Asian lashes to va va voom lashes.

My lashes just look so long and voluminous. I was so impressed and amazed.
I never knew a mascara can make my lashes look like this.

Side view.
You can how long my Asian lashes look. I am so in love with this mascara.

The products used for my eye makeup are, L'oreal Million Lashes in Noir Excess, Maybelline Volum' Express Cat Eye Mascara (bottom lashes), Majolica Majorca Jeweling eyes in PK722, Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Catrice Absolute Nude Eyeshadow Palette, Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Stingray, Etude House Drawing Eye Brow.

I just love how soft matte my skin look for this FOTD.
I have to thank the Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation for helping me achieve this beautiful soft matte look. This foundation just promises what it promises to deliver, a soft matte look. I am still sad over the fact this foundation is discontinued but thank goodness there's the Chanel Perfection Lumiere to back it up.

The list of face makeup I have used. Etude House Face Conditioning Cream in Light, MAC Minerlaized Skin Finish Naturial, Urban Decay Naked Flushed in Native, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and 3CE Full Coverage Concealer.

For my lips I lined my lips with Essence Lipliner in Wish me a Rose then topped it off with Chanel Glossimer in Jalousie.

A better lip swatch with the Chanel Glossimer in Jalousie.

The semester is over!

I am finally done with my 4th year. Rejoice rejoice.
Let us welcome Summer Holidays.

This is my FOTD.

For my base, it is my first time trying my Rimmel True Match foundation which I had bought quite awhile ago. So far, I quite like this foundation. It has a medium-full coverage with a dewy finish. I really like the dewy finish on my skin, it just gives my skin a healthy glowy look. I am quite impressed with this Rimmel foundation.

EOTD.

The mascara I am using today is the L;oreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara. My eyelashes do look pretty good in the picture.

I hopped into H&M today and I just got one thing. Something intrigue me very much.

It is the Makeup Sponge by H&M.
Doesn't it look familiar? Yes, It looks similar to the Beauty Blender. I can't fork out so much money for the beauty blender, so I have to settle for a cheap dupe.

It feels really dense and rubbery.

I am excited to see how it performs, will come back with a review on it.

FOTD & EOTD : Blue flowers

Just a simple FOTD & EOTD from yesterday.

As you all now I have been very simple on the eyes, I don't do much on my eyes.
Just a splash of neutral colours, tightlining and mascara.

The products used :
Catrice Absolute Nude Palette
Maybelline TheMagnum Mascara
ELF Mineral Eye Primer
Maybelline Gel Eyeliner
Elianto Luscious Eyeshadow in Hacendia Brown

My face makeup is very simple, the steps are pretty much the same, just that I alternate between products.

The base I used this time is the Laneige BB Cushion. I love to use this Cushion BB when my skin is on a good day, it is light, it brightens my skin tone and the coverage is just great enough for my current skin condition.
I top it off with MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural in Medium. Medium is slightly dark on me but I don't use much of it, so it isn't visible but I already had bought a back-up of it in Medium Light.

On my lips is Etude House Dear Darling Tint in #01

EOTD & FOTD : Spring Snow

My makeup have been really uninteresting thus my laziness in posting any FOTD or EOTD frequently.
My eye makeup style have been almost the same throughout the year. I have been into very simple and subtle eye makeup since it suits my eye shape the best.
I like to gently tightline my eye and pull out a straight wing at the end to give my eyes an illusion of being longer since my eyes are short.
Eyeshadows, I am still into the nudes. I am never too crazy on bright or dark colours

Here are products I used on my eyes :
Catrice Absolute Nude Palette
Maybelline TheMagnum Mascara (Favourite! Makes my lashes look really long and voluminous)
ELF Eye Primer

My overall look.
I curled my hair for the day.

I am still really loving my Chanel Mat Lumiere foundation. I do not like Matte foundations but this one is a special case since it gives a very beautiful soft matte finish. I am sad it is discontinued but I guess I will live with Perfection Lumiere.

Face Products used :
Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation
MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural in Medium
Garnier 2 in 1 Corrector
Essence Me and My ice cream cream blush
ELF Studio Blush 'Gotta Glow'

My skin has been really great of late. Thanks to these products.
This is a repurchase. I have almost run out both of the products, so I stopped by the pharmacy to stock them up before I run out and go panic mode.
La Roche Posay Effaclar K and Effaclar Duo [+]

Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel came together with the Effaclar K as a special set. I thought it is more wroth the buck to get the set than the Effaclar K alone.
They also reformulated the Effaclar Duo and changed its name to Effaclar Duo [+]. I have to try it out to see is there any difference to the old Effaclar Duo.

Burgundy inspired. EOTD & FOTD.

It has been ages since I did a face of the day.
I haven't been applying makeup of late thus that's why the lack of face of the day post. I am more focused on skincare.

A simple EOTD.
I have using bronze eyeshadow with accents of burgundy eyeshadow. I find this combination very beautiful for the fall season. It gives a gothic yet elegant look.

Full FOTD.

For base makeup I used my Chanel Mat Lumiere foundation alone.
Lipstick is Divage lipstick in 3612.
