Winter holiday haul : Muller

During my winter trip, I was in Munich and everytime when I see a Muller, I basically pop into one. Damaged done, I did haul quite some stuffs from Muller.
I just can't resist those German beauty products especially Essence and Catrice. Astor and P2 did not grab my attention enough to make me pick up from them.
Eventhough we do have our own Essence and Catrice, some items are not brought over. Also, deals are so much better in Germany, especially on their soon to be discontinued items. 99 cents each. Who could resist the mark down.

Only Zoeva was from Douglas. The rest are from Muller and mostly marked down to 99 cents.
Actually, I did not do too bad with the hauling, I still feel like it is very under control.

Let's start off with the brush.

I expected to see a full range of Zoeva products in Douglas but sadly, only the basics brushes are available.
I just picked up one brush from the range which I really wanted. I wanted it in the Rose Gold version but since it is not avaible. Well, let's settle with the basic one for now.

It comes in a black handle and silver feral. It is very nice to the grip.
It has enough weight to it.

The brush is really soft and dense.
Perfect for buffing liquid foundation.

I really like Zoeva brushes. They are pretty affordable and the quality is so amazing.

Essence lipglosses.
I picked up the three shades that were marked down for 99 cents each.
"Shy Beauty" and "Taste the Sweets" are from the I love nudes collection, while "Fabulous Fuchsia" is from their normal line.

They are good lipglosses for the price.
They have decent pigmentation, not sticky and a nice consistency.

Essnece Plump no Clump Mascara

This was also 99 cents marked down on the rack. Another mascara to try out, why not.

From Right : Essence I love Nude Lipstick in Porcelain Doll and Essence Matt Velvet Lipstick in 07.

The Porcelain Doll shade was marked down. I wanted to try this shade for quite some time but just never got to getting it. When I saw it marked down, I grabbed the last tube standing.
Porcelain Doll is a light beige nude with peach tones.

For the Matt Velvets, it is a newly added range to their collection. 07 is a muted pinky-rose nude.
Stunning everyday shade.

With contouring and highlighting being the thing in the beauty community right now. I too have shamelessly jumped into the bandwagon.
I knew Catrice was releasing their own contouring palette but it wasn't brought over here yet for the longest time. It was in my to get list in Munich.
So glad I got it.

It comes with a ashy grey tone contour powder and a pinky champagne highlighter.

The shade I chosen is 01 Ashy Radiance.
It comes in two shades.

There's no microshimmer in the contour shade which is a good thing. It is a matte finish.
Meanwhile there's lots of microshimmers in the highlight shade for that extra pop.

Essence Pure Nude Powder

This is another item that I have been wanting to get. This product is another product that is not brought over. The items that were brought over from their Pure Nude collection is their concealer and foundation only.
I got the shade 03 because it was marked down to 99 cents. Shades 01 and 02 look like a better match on me from the pan but when I swatched all together it was so sheer that there were no difference in every shade. I have not tried it on my face, let's crossfingers that it does not turn out too dark on my face.

It is a baked powder. It reminds me of my MAC MSF Natural.

Catrice Defining Blush in Lilac-tric

I really like this shade, that is why I got it and being marked down is a bonus.

Lilac-tric is a pink lilac shade.
I feel shades like this are hard to come by and when I do see them, I usually pick them up.

Essence Silky Touch Blush in Kissable

This is the last item in this haul.

The shade Kissable is a reddish plum shade with gold shimmers.
It is a pretty unique shade in my collection as I do not recall owning such shade.  The shades I own are usually pinks or peaches.
This shade is absolutely gorgeous. Definitely a steal with the mark down price.

Next part of my winter holiday haul will be a massive Kiko haul. Stay tune!

First Luxola haul

I was browsing through some online stores before I bumped into Luxola which carries a variety of brands. What caught my eye was that they carry Sigma and Zoeva at that time and now Becca cosmetics (woohoo!).
Pricing wise, it's very reasonable. I have done some research and the prices are just RM2-4 more than what you pay let's say getting Zoeva in Germany itself. Also, definitely better getting Zoeva from Luxola if you are not travelling to Germany because the shipping rate from the website is a killer

Buying from Luxola has been a good experience. Everything on the website is very convenient, from setting up an account to the payment. What's really great about Luxola is that there is so many payment option from credit card, paypal and paying with your bank account with services such as maybank2u, CIMB click etc.

Delivery is really fast for me. It takes about 2 days after order to get to me.

Zoeva Rose Golden palette

I heard many great reviews on the Zoeva palettes on how great they are for the price.
When I saw this palette I immediately gravitate towards this palette. The shades offered in this palette is so my shades.

The packaging is a cardboard style packaging. Despite being cardboard, it doesn't appear to be cheap or flimsy. It is definitely sturdy and sleek.
It is a beautiful packaging.

The shades offered have a rosy undertone like the name suggests.

Look at the shade copper is king, that shade is definitely king.

The palette offers a good variety of shimmery, metallic and matte shades.

I wanted to get another palette which is Cocoa Blend at the same time but it was out of stock. The thing about Luxola is that it suffers chronic out of stock syndrome. So when you see an item you want, just go for it because it takes ages to get the items restock.

It isn't a  Zoeva haul without their brushes.
Zoeva is very well known for their brushes especially in Europe.

102 Silk Finish and 110 Face Shape

The brushes are really high quality. The bristles are so soft and densely packed.
102 Silk Finish is a dome shaped brush with densely packed bristles. The size makes it ideal for applying foundation, powder or even bronzer.

110 Face Shape is like the little sister of the 102 Silk Finish brush. The size makes it ideal to buff in undereye concealer and also contour products.

I always wanted to try the Beauty Blender. It was on 50% off on Luxola at that time and I thought what better time to get myself the Beauty Blender than now.

I see myself purchasing from Luxola and also getting more Zoeva items in the future.

Haul : Essence, Catrice & Maybelline

I used to talk about how I love going to the beauty store near the hostel on the 15th because they are always 15% off storewide on the 15th.
Now I live outside so I seldom head to beauty store as much as I used too. This time on the 15th, I was having exams and it so happened to take place in the university which is well, near the hostel and near the beauty store.

Just after the exams, I went to the beauty store to pick up some stuffs.
I got items mostly from Essence and Catrice. The odd one out is Maybelline.

Essence and Catrice are great German drugstore makeup brands with a few gems in their collection.
I own a fair bit of items from both brands and I love a lot of items that I own from them.

Catrice All Matt Plus Shine Control Powder in 010 Transparent

During my last trip, I broke my casing for my MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural. This winter, I am going on a trip again but I do not want to risk further destroying my MAC Mineralized Skin Finish since it is a pricey product so I picked up this powder as a backup.

It is a normal pressed powder, nothing too exciting. I just hope it work well in setting my makeup.
I don't have too high hopes on it.

Essence Hidden Stories Trend Edition Highlighter in Enter Wonderland.

This was at the clearance bin so I just picked it up since it was marked down to a ridiculously affordable price.
I do not own a highlighter of such shade. It is a lilac purple.

Essence I love Nude Eyeshadow in 06 Coffee Bean

I am searching for a dark shade. This shade just fits the bullet. It is pigmented and smooth upon swatching.
It's affordable and it does the job.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Creamy Mattes in Creme de Rose

I love the Maybelline Color Tattoos, they work really great as bases, they are so comparable to the MAC Paint Pots for a fraction of the price.
When Maybelline launched the Creamy Mattes edition. I wrote in it my to get list. It took me awhile to get it though because the beauty store has a chronic out of stock issue with the Color Tattoos but I totally get why.
The only shade available was Creme de Rose, Creme de Nude is still in out of stock mode. I will be hunting that baby down as soon as it gets back in stock.

It is a creamy rosy nude shade.

Catrice Alluring Reds Liquid Lipstick in Brigette Bordeaux.

This was also in the clearance bin. I picked it up because of the shade.
It is such a beautiful dusty rose shade. It is such a perfect everyday shade.

Essence Eyeshadow brush

My old eyeshadow brush is dying, I have been using that brush for 5 years, so it is time to retire that brush. So, I need an eyeshadow brush replacement and I got this.

The eyeshadow brush is in pink which is so cute.
I really like the design of Essence brushes. I find them super cute and girly.

The semester is over!

I am finally done with my 4th year. Rejoice rejoice.
Let us welcome Summer Holidays.

This is my FOTD.

For my base, it is my first time trying my Rimmel True Match foundation which I had bought quite awhile ago. So far, I quite like this foundation. It has a medium-full coverage with a dewy finish. I really like the dewy finish on my skin, it just gives my skin a healthy glowy look. I am quite impressed with this Rimmel foundation.

EOTD.

The mascara I am using today is the L;oreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara. My eyelashes do look pretty good in the picture.

I hopped into H&M today and I just got one thing. Something intrigue me very much.

It is the Makeup Sponge by H&M.
Doesn't it look familiar? Yes, It looks similar to the Beauty Blender. I can't fork out so much money for the beauty blender, so I have to settle for a cheap dupe.

It feels really dense and rubbery.

I am excited to see how it performs, will come back with a review on it.
