Uni reopened. I am gonna cry a river now.
It has has to reopen during the time of peak winter. I am seeing all the -20 Degrees Celcius.
Chilling till the bones.

Here comes a mini haul.

I didn't get much.
I repurchased the Vivienne Sabo foundation which I like, Ton de Plaisir in F1. A nail polish from Divage and a eyeliner brush from Essence cosmetics.

I am saving up my money to haul when I get back home.

I was talking about the harsh weather in the previous post. It ain't gonna stop there.

Today it hit -20+ degree celcius again. I really hope tonight doesn't go down to -26 degree celcius as forecasted.

I love paper mask like all the Asians do.

Vilenta mask with moisturizer cream

Vilenta is a Russian brand. So far I have tried a few of their masks. It is not too bad.

I bought their Coral mask, Olive Oil mask and 100% Collagen mask.

SkinLite mask. SkinLite is a Korean Brand.

I like SkinLite masks more than Vilenta's.

I bought their Collagen+Vitamin B&E mask, Cucumber mask, Lavender mask, Q10 mask, Arbutin Tropical Fruit mask, Collagen Tropical Fruit mask, Sakura mask, Bamboo mask and Green Tea mask.

Can't wait to try all of them.

SkinLite pulp mask edition. More expensive than their normal mask but the quality of the mask is better.

I bought Age Defying Collagen Mask, Nourishing Chocolate mask and Vital Nourishing Red Ginseng Mask.

The packaging is so cute!!

I took advantage of the perfume sale at L'etoile.

Got my Lanvin's Jeanne perfume. I love Lanvin's perfume.

Also I dyed my hair again. This time a darker colour.

My skin condition has improved lots after taking more care.

winter sushi time

I need to get my lazy bum moving to update this blog more since I am on holidays.
It is super cold in Moscow right now, I just don't want to go out the dorm. Averagely it is below -20 degrees Celcius.

I went to eat Sushi yesterday.
Walking under the -23 degree Celcius weather was no joke but nothing can stop me when i am hungry.

Masking time last night.
I bought lotsa mask to pamper my face so it can survive through this harsh winter.

This is the mask I use yesterday.
SkinLite Anti-Stress Chamomile Mask.

SkinLite is a Korean brand. It is available in Russia in Auchan branches.
You also can grab them from Sasa.com

The mask quality is really thin and it is 100% made from pulp so it is easily torn if not handled properly.
Since it is thin and made from pulp it adheres to the face really well. I like the texture.
Chamomile mask smells really soothing and fresh.
The mask does soften my skin and moisturize it a little. It is more to the anti-inflammatory side.
Since my skin isn't inflamed this time around I can't see if the anti-inflammation works.

It only cost me 1000rubles, pretty worth it and it is so cute!
Can't wait for the temperature to go warmer so I can start wearing it. Now, it is crazily cold over here.

It is really sad that I only got a piece from H&M. Usually I buy more than that when I visit H&M but the clothes this round isn't very attractive.

I have been cooking and eating a lot this holiday too.

went out to celebrate my friend's birthday at an Southern American-styled restaurant.
Took us quite awhile to find out where the restaurant is located and the wind was strong during that night.
I kinda regretted wearing leggings, kinda froze myself to death.

basically my eye liner style is pretty the same lately, just switching up eyeshadow colours eventhough it is not obvious at all.

A light touch of essence eyeshadow in #24.

I just can't stop buying stuffs.
So today when I was doing grocery shopping, I picked up a few items.

Skinlite mask.
These are affordable masks that won't hurt your wallet and for me, they work well.
My skin is at its best condition in months now, due to stricter skin regime and also using of this mask.
no more spots or pimples or acnes.
So far I only used the oatmeal variant. I like it.
Doesn't irritate my skin with its heating effect, makes my skin feel supple and smooth.

Merilin eyeshadows.

I don't need anymore earth colour eyeshadow but still i can't stop getting them especially when they come cheap.

A normal dark brown and a golden white.

Not bad for 30 roubles.
The downside it has quite a lot of fall out.

I also went to Yves Rocher. Yves Rocher is a French beauty brand that is almost like The Body Shop but with more affordable prices.
They were having sales.

I bought this with the purpose to use it as a highlighter. It is so pretty!

Let's start the new year with tenzaru soba

It symbolizes longevity.

On new year's eve I went to Red Square.

It was a mistake to go at such a late time because the police forces already blocked the place and the people just keep pushing and pushing.

It was like a human stampede. Such a nightmare.

Lots of alcohols were confiscated by the police since they didn't want alcohol violence but anyhow since we didn't pass through the police, we were stuck with the "danger" zone with alcohols.

Lots of them were drunk. Not a pleasant experience for foreigners.

New year night, we went to the park for snow war!

This time I found something really interesting off the Russian hypermarket's cosmetic section rack.

Merilin Liquid Lipstick.
It is really cheap and it is really really pigmented.
28 roubles per tube.

It comes in so many colors that I lost count how many, it was just placed in a box to be picked up.

The first time I went, I picked up 4 tubes.

The packaging is really cheap but you can't expect much for something that cost so cheap.

They don't have a proper colour name, they are named by numbers for their colour.

05 - medium warm pink
11 - hot pink

2nd time I went I picked up three colours!

More colours of the pink family.
I saw a nude tone the first day I went, I regretted not purchasing it. It is sold out.

08 - hot pink with less fuchsia undertones compared to 11
03 - mauve pink

So far this is the best thing i found in hypermarket.
It is very pigmented and very little is needed to apply for full lips and it last pretty long too.

the bad thing is it has a funky scent. I don't even know how to describe the scent.

It only cost 99 Roubles so I picked it up since the price doesn't vary much from normal body shampoo that can be found in the hypermarket and supermarket.

I thought I would have bought more stuffs for Christmas. It looks like I ended up with a few stuffs.

Only 4 items. How sad is it.
A foundation, lipbalm, lipstick and loose eyeshadow.

Vivienne Sabo, I think it is a Russian brand. I could be wrong.
I like their Ton de Plasir foundation pretty much. It made my skin smooth looking and it has full coverage.
So I bought their Lifting Care Foundation to try, it is already cheap and my friend has the 20% off card for L'etoile.

Repurchased lipbalm. It is just an average lipbalm but I enjoy its scent.

The lipstick is another addition of the thousand bubblegum pink lipsticks that I own.
I just buy a bubblegum lipstick from every brand. This brand is pretty cheap but I am not sure where it is from.

A swatch of the eyeshadow with the super price. It almost match my skin colour actually.
75 Roubles is a pretty good steal.

An eye makeup of a few days ago.
I am trying the winged eyeliner style but it is seriously making look Kpop. It's sexy with all the cat eye like but sometimes I look fiercer with it.

A small and mini haul. Actually I shouldn't be picking all these stuffs but since my friend was there, she lured me into getting a few products.

Two Divage colour mascara and Bourjois Bio-detox foundation.

These are under 100 Roubles. I just bought them for fun.

This Bourjois foundation is having offer and I always have wanted to try out Bourjois' foundation. Heard a lot of good things about Bourjois' foundation.

The gold one. I look like I have horse eyes now but it is really pretty. Formulation of as clumpy as the red one

I guess they are fun to apply a little at the ends for some attention.

Luckily they are cheap but I don't think I will be using them often, maybe for some event days.

Circus!

My first circus experience in Moscow with The Big Moscow Circus.
The theme for the circus is Zolotou Booth which means "Golden Booth"
The first half is pretty boring but second half is entertaining.

I still don't like how they train the bears, feels like torture.

Mr. Walrus is co cute. I just wanna pet him.

I didn't take much pictures since actually it is forbidden to do so but still i snapped a little for 2nd half for blogging purposes.

End of circus with a parade and also fountain.

My favourite scenes were the mad scientist magic parts.
Also, the poodles and Mr. Walrus.
Poodles are like so excited to do their job especially the little one. It keeps getting so hyper!

Starbucks + NOTD

Some chocolate goodness topped with lots of Cinnamon.
Anything just taste so much more aromatic with Cinnamon.

It's my first Starbucks in Russia. Really expensive over here.
Cost 199Rubles (USD6) for a Tall Chocolate.

At the same time, got a tumbler since there's 30% off.

So starbucks and all so christmasy! Just can't resist it!!
My first Starbucks tumbler. Now I can refill coffee in with style.
Actually I needed a new tumbler since my old one have been serving me for a year, getting dirty.

So by topping up 500Rubles, I get this Starbucks card.
Too cute to resist with the glitter design and Snowman.
The transparent bits is really nice too.

Participated the Thanksgiving sale on Cherry Culture to console myself over the fact we don't have Thanksgiving over here or super duper sale.
I love sales and Cherry Culture for cheap and quality makeup for experimenting and toying around.

NOTD:

I love the green for this polish and somehow it dried matte eventhough it is not suppose to be matte.
The pet peeve is the application is terribly goopy. So hard to apply.

One of my schoolmate told me that if you apply mascara daily, your lashes will grow.
Is it a myth?

Well my lashes started to look longer?
Maybe it's just the mascara.

Nail of the day. This is currently my favourite nail polish. Too pretty to resist .

It has gold reflexes upon hitting the light.
Gives a luxurious feeling.

KFC finally rebranded Rostik's back to KFC right here in Russia and free burger for those who applied for one in facebook! :D
I miss seeing Colonel right here. My favourite menu for KFC here is still the basket. I still mourn over the lack of whipped potato here.

The chicken is too dry. Overall I didn't enjoy it much besides the ginger bread which is good.

Finally I visited Victoria's Secret over here. The trip was not worth it at all. =(
They hardly shipped in anything to the stall, it is mostly fragrances, some panties, bags, purses, clothes and some cosmetics.
They is nothing to be excited about.

Anyway I picked up only one thing from the stall just to get the paperbag.

VS' paperbag is so pretty and cute.

I picked the Beauty Rush lipgloss in Taffy Go Lucky.
Such a pretty bright pink with gold shimmers. The shimmers are really fine.

It cost 350 Rubles for a tube. Definitely not worth it if compared to the American price.
It's better to share order from the US during the sale season, you save lots even with paying the pricey shipping.

I just picked up 3 pieces, the total bill did cost me a bomb!

This is just a simple knit wear which is thick and pain in the ass to handwash. It's in navy blue.
I love it so much since it does keep me warm indoors.
It is so cold now in Russia that my extremities are basically freezing when I am typing this. It has reached the horrendous subzero weather over here.

I really need to colour up my monochrome wardrobe.

First winter beauty haul of the year!

The beauty store near my hostel have their 15% again. They have it every 15th of the month.
They don't really have any sales besides this, so when they have it is always all packed and the queue is freaking long and there's only one counter open.

Someone have to teach these people efficiency.

Just picked up two makeup items.

Essence blush brush and Vivienne Sabo's Ton de Plaisir foundation.

Vivienne Sabo's Ton de Plaisir's foundation. Full of fruity goodness.

Just hope it is a great cheap alternative to Bourjois' Healthy Mix Foundation. As if the Healthy Mix Foundation is expensive but they haven't stock up my shade.
So this one will do for now. Packaging is chic too.

Comes in 30ml in a plastic bottle with a dispenser pump and also comes in only 2 shades sadly.

Essence Blush Brush. I don't really need a blush brush since my old good is still doing fine but this one is pink!
I should had wait till I go back to my homecountry to get it since it is cheaper there, but I won't be back till next Summer and I don't know if these are limited edition.

Hot Pink Brush. What more to ask for.
It is really really soft too. It is a steal for its price.

Bought 2 tubs of Body Butters because I can't live without Body Butter here.

It's really dry over here, my skin are all cracking everywhere especially my back, always ignore applying cream at that portion.
Comes with 250g per tub.
It smells so good, just like strawberry and whipped cream. I love strawberry and whipped cream scent.
I love creamy scents over fruity scents.

Another thing, I got a bottle of shampoo. They didnt have my favourite Herbal Essence's blue bottle.
Well Nivea's one will do for now.

Colours in white.

Since the hypermarket stocked up with more cheap nailpolishes. It screams haul time.

There's a lot of colours. Say goodbye to pitiful nailpolish collection I have here. I can experiment with more colours.

I stopped by Body Shop and got myself a tub of body butter since my old one is finishing.

For Body Shop's body butters a little goes a long way and they are the best dry skin savers, for me. Just applying them religiously daily, I can get baby soft skin even during the harshest of winter.

Coconut scent is heavenly. I love coconut scented stuffs reminds me of my tropical homecountry.

A try out of yesterday's Fennel mascaras I bought.

Volume Rich.
It does make my lashes more voluminous than before applied but not as much as desired. Doesn't clump . Doesn't hold curl at all. Very easily removed with oil-based eyemakeup remover and water. Smudges when you rub your eyes or in contact with water.
Overall good mascara for its price

Natural Fiber.

This one is more clumpy and doesn't hold curl at all. It does lengthen my lashes a little but I do not see any fiber in the mascara. Smudges when you rub your eyes or in contact with water.

Very easily removed with oil-based eyemakeup remover.

Also a good mascara for its price.

November snow.

It started snowing here. I hate it. It is at the phase where it is half snow half ice since the temperature hasn't dip too low yet and it isn't so warm that the snow will melt upon touching the ground.

So freaking slippery. Makes me wanna cry when I walk.

Lately I am so busy thus I really haven't been going out thus there's basically nothing about my life I can post now.

Anyway I just bought some toiletries,face product and a wee bit of cosmetics around this month.

The weather has been changing drastically over here, skin peeling everywhere, especially my nose and feet.

I am gonna post about the toiletries and cosmetics first. The products shall be left later since I want to post it along with a short review.

First up a bath product by French brand
Le Petit Marseilais.

I bought this product because it smells so much like autumn, the heavenly blend of white peach and nectarine.
Very different from any scent of the bath products here, it is really rare to get bath products with nice fruity scent over here. The selection of bath product here is really scarce.
Makes me wonder do people here take bath. lols.

Next up, are mascaras.
They are just really cheap one that my friend ask me to try because she likes them.
I am not sure if I will like them yet but my lashes and her's are way different, her's is so long and voluminous and mine is hardly visible without all the thick layers of mascaras.
Hope this will somehow work for me

I don't see any difference in the brush shape in both mascaras. The brush is just your normal big brush.

Also bought new nail polishes. There's not much of selection of colours here, but I found this really nice lilac purple

and there's another tube of green. It leans more to Sea Green.
I will swatch it the next time I repaint my nails.

No eyeliner, Everything seems so much cleaner without the eyeliner.

Attended some event, so I am posting another EOTD.

Can you see how unattractively clumpy is TheColossal mascara is on me.
Since I bought I have to use it up, sadly. Eyemakeup is very simple, most important is dark colour under crease to accentuate, the deepness of the eye

Circle lens is Puffy 3 tone in Pink. I love the Puffy 3 tone series' design.
I think they are really gorgeous.

It has been a long time since I posted these types of pictures.
Here's my FOTD

My skin is at it's worst now. It's so dry that basically my nose is all flaking off. Have some bumps at my left cheek but luckily it seems like it is going away.

I am using skin 79 BB cream + MAC mineralized skin finish natural and my skin looks so flawless!
I am loving this combo.

Using Fynale Y17 Circle lens in brown.
I can never seem to apply my mascara without clumping with Maybelline's The Colossal Mascara and also draw eyeliner between my eyelashes. Ish...

Review : ELF healthy glow bronzing powder in Matte Bronze

Want a cheap contour shade that doesn't break the wallet?
Looks like ELF can solve it for you.

The Matte Bronze bronzer is pigmented and lean more to the brown tone instead of red or orange.
There's a little shimmers in it which is hardly visible eventhough it is called matte bronze but when applied, there's no shimmers at all.
Since it is so pigmented, apply with a light hand using a blush brush/angled blush brush/stippling brush.
Little goes a long way, I got this bronzer since a year ago, i still hardly made a dent in it but then, I hardly contour when I am in a hurry.
It last the whole day if you don't touch/rub your face throughout the day. Also, use a setting powder to set it.

The packaging is well, really cheap but that doesn't bother me because well what do I expect for USD1. The powder is pretty fragile. Don't ever drop it if not it is gonna turn into loose powder.

Overall, it is a very good product for USD1. I recommend it and would repurchase it.

Finally, i removed my cast. Say bye bye to smelly feet and cast.

It has been 3 weeks since I twisted my leg well it seems my casted leg lost a lot of muscles.

I could hardly support myself with the casted leg thus movement is slow, I am doing some physiotherapy myself to build back my calf muscle and well, get moving everywhere

Now I can just walk small steps by small steps. Like a baby who is learning how to walk.

My weight has been the lowest since 5-6 years ago. About 2kg or so gone.
I suspect I lost muscles but one calf muscle shouldn't weight that much?
Consider as I didn't do any diet this month, and I just had a cheese cake, a slice of cheese cake.

My diet life

Since I told anyone my weight before. I am gonna write an essay for this. hehe.

So early September I started out being 154.3 lbs. That's heavy for my height and what not.
So I cut down my portion of food and what not. I cut down on eating heavy meals for breakfast which I opted for a more healthy one. Milk and Cereal and Yogurt.
My cereal of choice is Fitness cereal because well, actually because it's one of the best tasting cereal over here. I don't like how most cereal gets soggy after being soaked in milk but this one still has the crunchyness. So I got the plus point which is low in carbs but gives me sufficient carbs to work my first half of the day.
Yogurt is expensive to eat daily but nevermind I love it and carbs are low in yogurt too.
Breakfast itself is +/- 350 cals
OMG it's so fattening. Wait, I didn't aim to eat less than 1000calories per day anyway. Not yet for now.

With the change in my diet I saw gradual weight lost. So far I am about 147lbs which is still, sadly heavy, but hey it's just one month through the diet. I don't except I wake up to 100lbs the next day I started dieting.
Well it takes a lot of motivation and endurance to go through a diet. Sometimes we give up when we don't see gradual weight lost but don't give up.
I have given up many times but this time I am not.
I keep telling to myself.
If i loose weight I will be able to fit in beautiful dresses that I always wanted to.
If I loose weight I shall look so much prettier.
If I loose weight I would feel so good about myself
If I loose weight I shall be healthier!

When I am loosing weight, I spend less money on food thus I got more money to spend on whatever clothes, cosmetics, shoes and bags I want which makes me happy.

My goal weight is 110lbs. For now.
I would be a stick if I am under 100lbs. I don't want to be an "aeroplane track"-chest stick thin girl.

Another thing.
Do I binge?
Nope. I haven't binge.

Fast food & sweet food?
I seldom eat fast food. The most I have eaten is 2-3 times per month, usually I don't eat them at all.
I seldom eat sweet food, I don't usually crave for cupcakes, cakes, tarts or macaroons. The closest thing to sweet food I always crave is hot chocolate. Even so, I don't drink it daily, maybe 2-3 cups per week when I don't have a proper lunch to eat.

If you like these type of food, it's time to cut down all the bad carbs and opt for healthier food like wholemeal bread, rice, noodles and oats( I don't really like oats)
Rice is a healthier choice compared to bread and noodles (unless it's not flour-based like rice vermicelli)

october life update

After the leg injury, I can't figure out how to exercise properly and weighing myself out.
Oh bother. There goes my diet.
I am not gonna gain weight by lying on the bed with my cast. No way!

But jumping around with one leg and some stretches on bed help a little.
Food wise, since I can't cook or anything. This is literally starving me crazy even so, I still eat 3 meals a day religiously. Lunch might not be as luxurious as before but cereal and milk shall do for now.
I don't believe in starving as it is easier to rebound.

Also, I don't believe on going lower than 1000calories per day. I just dont want my metabolism to slow down too much, then when I am old when it gets so much more slower, I am gonna gain a lot of weight then.

In the middle of my recovery period, I spent so much time online thus I have been hauling quite a lot.

This is gonna be my first time hauling clothes off TaoBao, I bought items from TaoBao before but not clothes, they are Candy Sugar bags.

Leg injury

Now I am sitting right on my bed with a leg cast posting this.

I am gonna recap my story.

Last Winter, I did had a bad fall in the snow where I sprained my knee, I am not sure about the degree of injury because silly me, didn't go to the doctor (well, not like I am bothered to face those Russian doctors and start lecturing me about not speaking Russian fluently and stuff). So I just let it heal itself.

So after a month, everything seemed fine, I am able to bend my knee as usual without straining it and I could walk as usual.
Back in my homecountry, I tripped one more time again, the same knee gave way and all i did is some massage and apply chinese ointment, it wasn't as bad as the snow fall, it was pretty minor, it healed in a week.

The next one is in the common kitchen here, apparently someone spilled oil, and didn't wipe it away, but that healed so fast, the next day i could go for a run.

This time one bad, my knee completely gave way, it dislocated for a moment and i quickly push it back to place, my ankle which supported my weight sprained. So for the first half of the day i swear I couldnt move at all. It was so painful that they had to call an ambulance to take me to the hospital.

So It seems I ended up with some ligament strained and maybe torn in my knee, a minor fracture one my fibula and I have to wear a cast for a month which is so troublesome when I wanna bath and that also means I can't go uni for a month. I can't possibly walk down the stairs from the seventh floor and walk to the bus stop. Doctor has advised me not to strain my leg and rest it well before it worsens. Well this is not good news at all, I don't like missing classes and I really have to catch up when I get back.

But I feel really lonely and all. Being without my parents care when I am injured but I am glad I have friends to stand up and help me but sometimes there's a yearning for parents to be here too.

So, hope for the best now.

Just a mini buy just because I felt like buying them.

They are really cheap, so i don't expect much from them.

A Fennel lipstick that comes in a cheap looking packaging.

Cost 13 roubles.

It is a nude pink lipstick that comes with hardly there shimmers.

The application is smooth and quite moisturizing for its price but it tends to accentuate fine lines.
It can be fixed with a lipgloss.

A swatch of it. Loving this lip colour for its price.

Another thing is a loose eyeshadow.

It comes in a cheap plastic packaging like this. I am not gonna complain.

They are not for the faint of heart, super glittery like powder glitter instead of eyeshadow. Some colours are hardly visible but some look pretty especially the gold, brown and peach shade.

Have a lot of fall out.

Overall quite a bad eyeshadow but since I got it ,shall use it ..

A long time no post EOTD.
I am really too lazy to wear contact lens and eye makeup only a daily basis as certain days I am so tired that i couldn't even move off my bed. Welcome back to uni life. The sad reality.

The circle lens I am wearing is Fynale's Y11's brown. I am learning to like this lens a lot, it's really natural.
I just used gel eyeliner and mascara.

Gel eyeliner is by Physician's Formula and Mascara is Maybelline's The Collosal.

Had sushi galore with my groupmates yesterday.

Well, I still prefer getting sushi in my homecountry, I just don't fancy the westernized version with cream cheese.

My mum just skyped me that the circle lenses that I pre-ordered few months ago arrived.
I am happy about it but I won't get to see the lenses until I go home next summer.
There's 9 pairs of them. I can't wait for next summer.
I pretty much homesick right now.

Went to Moscow Run yesterday.
Obviously I didn't run because I do not have the stamina but better than not doing anything.

The situation was crowded. There's so many people which isn't really surprising.

Since registration number was up to the 10 000.

14 seconds before the race.

The stadium we ran into.

I walked through the race for 43 minutes and 40 seconds. I know I am a slow-poke.
And I sprained my knee a day before the run.

The beauty store near my hostel had a 15% off all products yesterday. I didn't bother looking at the cosmetics as all of them are pricier than my motherland.
I just picked up things that I need. A conditioner by Herbal Essence and a makeup remover by Bourjois.

It is a dual layer makeup remover.
It contains 200ml of product and claims to remove waterproof makeup in one sweep and non oily.

Hopefully it does what it claims if not I am gonna cry for not bring over my Biore makeup remover which is able to remove the stubborn Japanese brand mascaras.

it's getting chilly

Weather has been so cold in Moscow that it is killing me softly.
I am missing the warm wind of my home country.

I found something really interesting when I was walking around the hypermarket.
Lip oils

Reminds me of the good old days.
I didn't know they still exist. The last time I encountered them was when I was in primary school.
They use to be my favourite "toy". Girls after all.

They work really good for me right now, the weather is so dry and cold.
All I do is apply it before I go to bed then I will wake up with baby soft lips.
Sometimes I do apply it randomly throughout the day also. I don't mind the oiliness, as long it helps to retain my lips moisture.
Too add on, it's affordable. 28 roubles.

I got a new coat too!

I bought it in a market. I just found out a market in Moscow.
I love it. Cheap groceries! and also spinach! I have been hunting it up and down for a year.
This coat cost 800roubles, cheapest one I found in the market.

I am still eying at a Zara coat that I fell in love with.
So pretty but so expensive!!

update on diet after a month

This is like seriously overdue.

I am kinda happy how the change of eating style enabled me to loose 1.5kg in a week or so.

I stopped taking in oily food an junk food and only eating 3 times a day. Pumped up on fiber to prevent constipation and eating more fruits and vegetables.

Every breakfast I have been eating only Fitness cereal (high in fiber and low in fat) with chocolate/coffee milk (I hate full cream/plain white milk) plus yogurt.

Lunch I am eating meat stuffs. Never cut down on meat stuffs on a diet. You still need protein, you don't want to shed muscles.

Dinner, it's soba. Lately I have just been eating soba with either gravlax and raw lettuce or grilled chicken because I am too lazy to open my packet of rice and also lazy cooking is contributing and I haven't bought much groceries.I should start cooking up my newly bought salmon. Anyway rice is a better compared to flour based noodles or bread. They don't turn into much fat compared to the latter.

and to diets that I couldn't take it.

No carbs diet - I love soba and rice too much to give it up but I can give up bread.

I never owned a branded handbag in my life and I always wanted one.

The good thing about branded handbags are that they are longer lasting. My cheaper handbags get through wear and tear really fast

So I think it is high time for me to invest in a good handbag and save some money on using it for a longer period.

I have arrived in Moscow after a very long flight journey and transit in Dubai.
Well, my room is in its worst condition and I won't be posting frequently until I settle down cleaning up my room and other personal things.

Okay, here I have an OOTD which I forgot to post. It is taken almost at the end of my holidays.

Very Liz Lisa style. Sadly I didn't bring my can can hat over here since my luggage is overweight and the hat is kinda space consuming.
I love this hat a lot.

Also, I have some photos taken at the Dubai airport.
Not many since after that I was so busy running from one duty free shop to another.

Outside of the airport, the humidity and the temperature was a killer at 7.30 am.
When I arrived at 5 + plus am, the temperature at Dubai was 36 degrees celcius.

I have plastic drawers on top of my wooden cabinet to keep some of my tiny cosmetics.

All of them are full, yes I am a makeup junkie. .____.

One can never have too many eyeshadows. My opinion, palettes are better than singles in terms of saving space.

Today I am gonna do a special post on the Japanese fashion models that inspires me.

Let me tell my story first.

I first encountered Gyaru when it was 2005/6. I still remember the first Popteen that I bought.

The one with Ai Otsuka on the cover.

I didn't buy it because I knew about gyaru and liked the gyaru fashion. Then all I knew is Japanese fashion, I categorised everything into one. The Japanese Fashion.

I bought it because Ai Otsuka was on the cover and I wanted a Japanese fashion magazine myself.

Then I have been reading Popteen till this very day.

I went through lots of style changes and model changes.

Ok let's cut the ramble now and I am gonna show my inspirations.

1. Funayama Kumiko ( Kumicky)

Her style is usually sweet and cute and clean which I like. She rocks every style she puts out!

Her makeup is always sweetly done and is simple but still very on point Gyaru. She doesn't go over the top with her makeup (ie too much black eyeliner, thick and long bottom lashes) which I like. It's also very fun to follow her blog and read about her monthly on Popteen. Her undying love for Chopper is so cute. And she has good music taste. In the September issue she recommended listening to Motohiro Hata (Those who hasn't listen to Motohiro Hata has to listen to him, he's what I call a good musician. click here) and she likes Yusuke-san.

When she raves about a makeup item or fragrance, I am sure dying to try it out because who doesn't wanna try stuffs that your style idol tried out and loving it.

She's my style idol and she's the same age as I am.

2. Kawanishi Miki (Mikipon)

She's a very hardworking gyaru on makeup kenkyuu, she's also a gamer. She often studies on famous people's makeup like Hirako Risa, Ayumi Hamasaki, KARA etc.
She's not the type of model that stands out at first sight, it takes awhile to notice her but after knowing about her. She's lovely.
Her style is very ladylike. Her makeup is girlish and simple. Nothing over the top
She also mentioned on liking RADWIMPS.

Have been eating a lot today. There goes my diet. *cries*

First I went to have Japanese cuisine for brunch.

I ate about 6 sushi and a temaki

My zaru soba.
I love cold soba, I already bought tsuyu do make my own zaru soba.

After that had a starbucks soy chocolate frappucino with less sugar but there's whipped cream, so doesn't help at all.

My parcel came. I got the highly raved by Kumicky, Missha Oriental Herbs(Cho bo yang) BB cream which I ordered a few days ago.

It comes in a traditional oriental style design paper box with Korean wording printed on it.

I can't read Hangul so can't translate it.

The tube is also really elegant with the Hangul "Missha" printed in gold on it.

It comes 50ml of product and it has SPF30PA++.

I've already rave about this BB cream. I like almost everything about it.

The texture is nice and smooth. Very easy to spread.

Coverage is too my liking, it's medium.

It doesn't leave any feeling on the face makes the skin looks so smooth.

Smells well like chinese herbs. Some may hate the scent. I am fine with it.

It's also very long lasting.

The seller included some freebies for me.

Off to try Shimino crepes again. I love crepes eventhough I know how fattening it is.

The company is from Harajuku.

I chose mine in Strawberry.

The strawberries + fresh whipped cream taste so good.
Such a guilty pleasure.

Have been lemming over a can can hat for the longest time (since last year)
I finally got it eventhough maybe I am already out of style but prices seems to have drop since when it was first hyped up.
with 2 flowers.
This one is actually the last piece but it is also the cutest one. So I bought it.

There's also lace design on it.

On the makeup side, it seems they brought in the new products for this season.

I think there's not much mentioning of this product too.

KAte jewel karat eyeshadow.

If you are lemming/lusting over the Dolly Wink cream eyeshadows.

This one is a cheaper alternative.

This cream eyeshadow comes in 1.7g of product.
Little goes a long way.

Packaging is sturdy plastic with the very typical Kate style carat cut design on it.

The colour I got is WT-01. There's 8 colours to choose from if I am not mistaken.

It's the shimmers that the gyaru girls love.

The last buy aka the buy that broke my bank.

I've got it the foundation the girls from ViVi besides RMK, more expensive than RMK in Japan atleast, but here, it's the same price.

Comes in a reflective packaging. Very elegant.

I actually thought of repurchasing my Chanel foundation but then even everything's good.
The colour wise, it's getting yellowish for my skin. I don't know my undertone changed or i got fairer?

This one is still yellow base with hints of pinks but not as yellow as Chanel's. Suits my Asian skin.

I tried the Lunasol at the counter. I like the finish and the texture, a bit watery for a cream foundation but it makes it easy to spread.

Coverage is medium and better than the iquid foundation of the same line.

Smooth and easy to spread and not cakey or streaky (Maybelline Affintone's nightmare).

It contains 60% water so it .

Now I had it for few hours, has not caked up, my face is not oily, no break out yet.

So far so good.

Gonna try it out more on the days I feel more luxurious to put on this expensive foundation.

Just an EOTD.

Bambi lenses are just too gorgeous. They really make your eyes pop!

Started using the Essence eyeshadow I bought, it's kinda hard to pick up the colour with a brush.
the shimmers in it is gorgeous though!
Bottom lashes top up with lots of mascara.

Tried the Missha Cho Bo Yang BB Cream's Sample today.

It's amazing.

The coverage is superb, I didn't need to cover my undereye circle (mine's not that dark anyway)

It's so easy to spread.

It last all day long. Oil Control is above average.

Doesn't clog my pores and cause me to break out (like the stupid Maybelline affintone, I've got one sad pimple now that refuse to go away)

It smells a bit like ginseng.

I am nabbing a bottle for myself!

Had Kimchi Ramen today with lots of chili powder. I keep topping

chili powder till I sweat.

I heard chili is good for loosing weight.

Quite a big bowl.

I don't like the camera quality for blackberry.

Off to Etude House to get more mask. So reasonable and cheap.

Collagen one is the one recommended by Matsumoto Ena.

She pretty much recommended all the collagen mask from Etude House.

I also requested this sample from the seller.

Kumicky and Rui seems to be using this BB cream and raving about it.
I wanna try first before I buy it since this BB cream is more expensive than usual.

They Korean cosmetics boom now makes me lust more for Korean cosmetics.

But, anyhow quality wise still Japanese cosmetics is much better.

Mask was on sale. 5 pieces for RM12.
Such a bargain.
I got this because Matsumoto Ena recommended this mask.
Models really have the power to make me get something =.=

The more I read what models use, the faster I go broke but this mask is cheap too, doesn't dent the wallet.

I just opened the rest of my lens today except those that I repurchased.

I am popping them in to let you all see how it looks on the eyes. Not advisable to pop them in immediately from the vial because sometimes they do hurt like a torn in the eye.

This is how the whole puffy 3 tones series looks like.

I bought the Brown and Pink ones.

Yea my eyes are red because it hurts. I think popping them straight in wasn't a good idea.
Should had let them soak in overnight in multi purpose solution.

I just popped them in straight from the vial and let me tell you, they didn't hurt at all, they are so comfortable!

Dont it look gorgeous.
Seems like every popteen model(actually it's just Kumicky and Hikari) it wearing this colour for the bambi lenses.
Colour is so vibrant and the design is love. Enlargement is excellent. Makes my eye look so huge, definitely will not wear this lens without makeup.

I did not regret buying the Kimchi Bambi series. Kimchi lenses are slightly more expensive than the rest but It's worth it.

Fynale Y17 lens.

This design I bought in 2 colours because it's really pretty, the design.

This one is the Grey series. It's tri-tone, a thing black ring at the outer lens, grey in the center and brown near the pupil.

Brown series, black ring at the outer, pink in the center and brown near the pupil.

Colour : 7/10

Definitely more vibrant than the Y11 series. The grey one stands out quite a lot.

Comfort : 5/10

ehhh.. like the Y11 series, the lens is quite thick, thus the eyes gets dry fast.

Dont like the dry feeling, it hurts the eye.

Enlargement : 1/10

It's 14mm, no enlargement at all for me.

Fynale Aurora series

Colour : 9/10

really light, stands out a lot, since it is so light, there's for sure a halo effect to it.

The design is like blue dots over the lens and a lightly tinted thin black ring on the outside

Comfort : 10/10

super soft, super comfortable, so soft that I am afraid I might accidentally tear it. Also it flattens easily since it is so soft, sometimes I am afraid I will mess up which side is which.

Enlargement : 6/10

15mm. There's an enlargement to it but not as obvious as those with a dark ring on the outer side.

Fynale Y11 lens in Brown

This is how it looks like on the model.It is 14.5mm.

This is how it looks on my eye.

Colour is not as vibrant as on the model.
It changes the eye colour though.

Enlargement wise : 2/10
There's no visible enlargement at all, it is more for changing the eye colour.

Comfort : 5/10
It gets really dry fast!! After 5 hours or so, my eyes really tired and painful. I have to keep applying wet drops.
Maybe because of the thickness, it felt thicker than my Super Barbie lenses.

Colour : 4/10
Not so visible under indoor lighting but on natural lighting, the difference and be seen.
I like the design a lot,the tri-tone, it's really pretty.

With makeup on, so sorry my fringe is half blocking it.
Gotta trim my fringe soon.

Had a fruitful haul yesterday with the mum.

I raided almost ... all the stores.

Let's start out with the ones from Forever 21.

Never can go wrong with these type of tops.

A dirty rose cardigan. Looks gray in the photo.

Needed a cardigan quite badly.

I wanna type mode style. I thought this Vintage rose loose top would go well with the style when paired with black jeans and a few accessories.

Frilly mini skirt. Super cute.

It's actually all shimmery and sparkly.

On sale too, I just like bargains.

Now on to the random brand clothes I got.

Because the girly girl/princess in me wants this frilly top to badly.

A top for mode-style experiment, I just need those like crazy print bottoms/leggings. Anyway it's really comfy as a casual top.

I saw the exact same top on a model in Happie Nuts(?) except her's is in white.

I bought it since it was just RM25 anyway~

Visit Jogoya Japanese Buffet in Starhill. Eventhough It is stated it is a Japanese buffet restaurant, it also has some Western, Thai and Chinese cuisine.

Sashimi. There's Salmon, Tuna, Squid, Talapia etc.

It's really fresh, salmon sashimi is the best!

Egg with Ebiko, Sauna Egg and Daikon Kimchi.

All the girlled/ fried stuffs. There's grilled potato, grilled salmon belly..

Some variety of Sushi and Daikon Kimchi and Chuka Wakabe.

So I am gonna start with an unflattering bare face.

Applied foundation, concealer and powder.
Also pop in circle lenses (optional) to give the eye some definition.

The circle lens I am using Super Barbie Sweet Pink.

Scaring people with big fat pale face.

A little foundation can be applied at lips to cover redness. My lips are pretty pale by itself, so no covering.

So I am gonna start off with my eye.

A light champagne colour as all over lid colour, brown at the outer to give eye definition and a little dark brown at the outer bottom lash line.

All done.

Line the eyelid and tightline with black eyeliner. Wing the end of the eye slightly downwards to give a little droppy effect.
Like this.

Done! =)

Curl the lashes.Apply a generous amount of mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

Now let's move on to the face first while letting the mascara and eyeliner to dry.

Contour the face with a shade 2-3 times darker than your skin colour.

Dark pink indicates darker blush colour
Light pink indicates lighter blush colour
White indicates highlighter.
By applying blush this way it brings out the pink glow of the blush and also dimension. I learnt this from Popteen.
If you dont two blush colours, it is okay to just apply one blush colour.

Now we move back to the false eyelashes
Ignore my disgusting thumb with those dry scaly skin and yellow nails.

To apply the false eyelashes nicely, there's only 3 parts you are suppose to apply the glue, not on the full eyelash.
If you apply it on the full falsies, when you blink, it's gonna be slightly tight and it might cause your lash to drop off/hang loose, also you save glue like this and less mess in application.

I have been using this trick for quite sometime, I flipped through Scawaii which i bought two days ago, the makeup artist also recommends to apply glue in such a way.

Since the false eyelash is slightly longer than my original eye, I am gonna apply it in a way that the ends are downwards to give a droppy eye.

There are other techniques for false eyelash application but I am gonna focus this style.

With such long eyelash it can't be left alone without bottom eyelash application, it would leave the look very unnatural.

I cut the bottom lashes into two bunch and applied it as so.

Now done with the eyes.

Let's go to the lips.

First, swipe on lipgloss as usual then apply more at the middle to give the lips shine and glossy look.

All done!!

The end look you are gonna get a Kato Miliyah-esque droppy eye look which looks like gonna burst out tears anytime.

Did some shopping.

Since I am in search for a bigger bag that fits everything, I bought a bag for RM40.

I like the design, it's classy and simple.

My favourite remover is Elianto's but since the price jackup a little. I didn't want to spend a little more for it.

Etude House was having a sale for their makeup removers. 2 for RM25 which is really reasonable for a cheapo like me.

One is lip+eye makeup remover, one is a mascara remover.

Picked up two past issue magazines.

Onee-gyaru kei magazine, Scawaii.

On the other side, I got a new phone!

It's the Blackberry Torch. Really excited right now~

I cleaned up my room today and lookie what I found.
My past fandom stuffs. Like a huge ton of it.

Kinda embarrass to say it. I used to be a Johnny's Entertainment fan. I mean I still do care about them but not as much, now it's more like a casual listen or casual watch of their variety shows and stuffs.
It's like I outgrown the fandom a little.

Look at the amount of idol magazine I have. Now it is a headache to find where to store them.

Today I did some experimenting, this FOTD is inspired by Korean artist makeup.
I am not quite a fan of this style since it involves a lot of black eyeshadow and eyeliner.

I guess it has already been discontinued.

The packaging is really cute, the picture didn't do it any justice.

On diet side. I have been "cycling" on the cycling machine for an hour today. slow though since my stamina is terrible but hopefully I am gonna see some improvement on my weight.
Since I came back from Moscow I gained 1kg but in Moscow I lost a few kgs, not much but still it's good for me. I am gonna put more effort on loosing tons of weight since i am on the chubby side right now.

Finally a FOTD and EOTD after quite awhile.

Today's look is really light. No contouring nor highlighting since I was in a hurry. A last minute call to go out. the main point of today's look is the lip colour.
Orange!
Very lovely light orange that isn't over the top. It's currently my favourite lipcolour for summer.
Also the colour is matte. I prefer creamy matte colours to glittery ones.

Very natural Taiwanese handmade false eyelashes. It's the shortest ones of the range they got.
Circle lens is Super Barbie Flower Brown.

It's the first time using Physician's Formula eyeliner( I am wearing the brown one!) today. So far I am loving it in terms of consistency and long lastingness.
I am gonna wear it a few times more and also try out the black and purple before I put up a review.

Eyeshadow wise I am using Ellefar's Glitter eyeshadow and Elianto's eyeshadow in mocha.
Always with my browns.

Just some little haul. Looks like I cannot leave the house with spending. Well it's sale season and Korean cosmetics usually are really cheap and affordable.

Nature Republic.
I got 3 nail colours. They are really pretty and also one swipe is so opaque.
Moreover, buy 2 get one free!
The bottle's design is very inspired by Paul and Joe.
Very springy and summery colours. I like light colours more compared to dark ones.
So even it's winter or autumn season my nails are still in light colours.

Etude House.
Had an off season clearance. So a lot of past collections are either sold at RM10(USD3.36) or RM12 (RM4.04).

I picked up a highlighter since I saw it and thought well , why not try it.
It comes in a packaging like this.
I got two other blush in this range.
This range the texture of blush is very smooth.

Off-white with some gold shimmers

Since I am currently addicted to orange lips, I picked up an orange lipstick

Code B Dear Darling Ultra Firming Lips in Or201.
This might be the last that carries this Etude House style lipstick packaging. I like when it was pink and cute and flirty.

I thought I could fit these into this post but It seems that I has been too overload with picture, and I pity those with slow broadband or dial-up internet speed (like me currently, takes ages just to load facebook alone).

So this one is another circle lens order.
The seller is really nice and kind, I do recommend her but sadly she doesn't do oversea orders. She wrapped my lenses nicely with polystyrene and well her communication with me is pretty good!

These are new range of lens, they are called Kimchi lens.
The bottles are tinier than normal lens bottles that I have bought.
and you can see my prescription right now. My horrible eyesight.

I wanted to the GEO Princess Mimi/Bambi's but it seems it's kinda hard to get it nowadays and when I asked the other lens seller they said they have replaced Princess Mimi lenses with Kimchi Bambi line.
Since the seller's Kimchi line prices are higher than this seller I bought from. I didn't get it from her/him.

I don't know how true is with the replacing but if anyone knows more about it, please give me a heads up on it.

This is gonna be a long somewhat haul post since I got two parcels in the mail just awhile ago and also some stuffs I am supposed to post but I didn't. I am lazy.

All these lens I didn't get them like yesterday, I actually ordered them when I was still in Russia but since I have been slow lately, I am gonna post on them now.

I haven't opened them yet since my older lenses haven't expired but they gonna soon, in a month's time. Puffy 3 tones in Pink.
I am always crazy for more subtle pink lenses.

Puffy 3 tones Brown.
I like puffy 3 tones' design that's why I got two colours in the same design. I got mesmerized by the model's eyes when I was selecting the lenses I wanna get.

Also this one is a repurchased. The Candy Pink/Sweet Pink ones that I love. The look can be refereed here.
These pink lenses blends really well with dark brown eyes and doesn't go BAM!in your face pink. The edges around the pinks is soft thus it blends softly with the eyes.

and pore strips. This one is random but I want to put this up just to tell that Biore came up with a limited edition aroma collection pore strips. Price is the same as the normal edition ones. Just the limited edition ones has a rose scent and prettier packaging.

I place an order on drugstore.com, beauty.com and also coastal scents.com through a middle man and well the order took eons to be processed and the packing by the middle man was ridiculously slow too. Disappointed but oh well, she's the only middle man I could find for now.

I didn't order much, this is all that I got.Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips Gel Liner, Nars Blush and a tapered brush from Coastal Scents.

The one I got is in Brown Eyes. I ordered this gel liner like in April/May when I need a gel liner kinda desperately since all my liners dried up on me but It never came so I proceeded and got Essence's and also Maybelline's but this came eventually.
Anyway I am excited since there's brown and also purple. It comes with a free brush too.

Nars Blush
This is my 2nd NARS blush. The other one I got is in Desire.

NARS' trademark packaging which is a dirt magnet.

The colour I chose this time around is Madly. It is described to be a seashell pink. For me it leans more to the bronze side but I do see some hint of pinks. Perfect summer blush colour.

and a swatch on my hand. So pretty. NARS blushes never disappoint.

On to the brush now. It is really soft, doesn't shed at all(already sent it for some bathing session).
Worth what I paid for and more worth it with 20% off.

This is my Pecan Butterscotch, lighter but kinda sweet.Is my favourite amongst the cake served in the shop.

I finally visited Sushi Zanmai. Tastiest Sushi Restaurant ever.I am definitely gonna visit there one more time. So tasty and also the chef preparing style is clean.

Snowflake is a Taiwanese Dessert Shop. This is my 2nd time eating there. after awhileSeriously taste so good especially the taro balls.

I picked up circle lens again. This one is just a repurchase.
It's the Super Barbie Princess Pink lenses. This one is my favourite out of the bunch of circle lenses I have tried. Another favourite of mine is the Sweet Pink/Candy Pink ones.

I have been using them for a bout a year now. So it's time to replace them.Looks like they revamped the packaging, now it comes with a nice pink box, even my envelope is pink (couldn't take a pic since I have already dumped it away)

Princess Pink blends with my colour very well.
It natural light it can look either light purple or brown but then if looked closely, it has pink hints.
Pink is like the special colour for lens.

Enlargement wise this lens are very enlarging but not too big, they are 15mm.
For tiny eyes like mine, I could not wear it out alone, some makeup work has to be done to make it work.

Comfort wise, for me they are comfortable unless you are wearing them for 8-9 hours. If it gets too dry, it can be fixed with eye moisture drips.

Colour wise, they stand out a lot in natural light and also indoor light. I have really dark eyes I think they show a lot.

Since I am back I can get in touch with more of my makeup, I am gonna do my few favourites of this month.

Elianto eyeshadow in Light Salmon
The texture is a little chalky but it's the colour that draws me to like it. it seems to just go well with the browns.
Very lovely and useful colour. I reach out to this colour a lot.

Jordana eyeshadow in Over the Taupe
gorgeous colour, not chalky stays on really long and doesn't crease with a primer and extremely affordable. I am loving it a lot!

MAC mineralize skin finishbest ever powder used. I am gonna stick using this for awhile until there's even better one.
Doesn't give the chakey feeling when applied, so natural on the skin with good coverage. It minimises the pores on my face.
Last very long too. Worth every penny I payed for.

Taiwanese handmade lashes which can be purchased from Ebay.com
I like this style since it gives a voluminous and flirty lash look since it accentuates the ends.
Makes the eye looks longer.

Essence glossy lipbalm in pink dragonfruit
I just find myself reaching for this product often. I like the scent and it taste sweet when licked.
The colour payoff is very good for this one and t does give nice glossy sheen.
Just that it doesn't last long but I don't mind reapplying.

Maybelline volum' express hypercurl cateyes mascara in feline black
Since the wand is in comb style it's really good for bottom lashes, I use it mostly for bottom lash.
It's very waterproof, doesn't flake, doesn't smudge nor budge after applied and super black.
Just removing it an be a tough job at times.

Posting this from my old grandpa pc because I had sent my poor laptop for repair since it has been wonky since 2 days ago and I am gonna get it back maximum in 2 weeks time. I am gonna cry me a river. All my data is in there. I am gonna be musicless and dramaless for 2 weeks. nooooooooo.

I am suppose to take a FOTD or EOTD for my look today but I forgot since I was in a rush. Bleh.
Nevermind I am gonna take it the next time.

Anyway let's move on to a mini haul.

I picked up this Essence mono eyeshadow in #24 because I like shiny stuffs.

It's a bling bling twinkling ling.
So shiny I like. Gonna use it as a base when I feel like I want more shimmers and glitters.

from Daiso. I got this Ellefar eyeshadow palette. I saw this in Popteen's April 2010 issue(??). I think it's that issue on a tutorial. Since it's only RM5 why not try it out, it doesn't hurt the pocket.Neutrl colours. What I like best. It comes in colours like blue and green too but those are colours I rarely touch thus It's definitely a waste if I buy them since I know I am not gonna go near them at all.

Since my mascara is running low and I had it for like few months. I know you are not suppose to keep mascara too long since bacteria could accumulate in the tube and yada yada yada.

Picked up my most trustworthy brand of mascara.

Majolica Majorca. Yeap 10% off.

I have tried lots of brands. Some worked some are pure crap.

For me, mascaras I would go for either Maybelline Asia's editions or Majolica Majorca. They work the best for Asian lashes. I had tried The Colossal that is available in European and the US. It didn't work that good. It didn't accentuate my lashes as it promise and after half of the day it flakes and hola! panda eyes.

The only down side for Majolica Majorca is it is so waterproof that i can be a pain to remove.

This time I bought Lash Expander frame plus because it's cheaper after discount. Also, from the tester It works amazing, no flakes, no clumps, it made my lashes 100 times longer.

I have tried the Lash Gorgeous Wing before and it works amazing too. No flakes, no clumps, just the lengthening effect is not so prominent. The brush. The Lash Gorgeous Wing has the normal mascara brush but the Lash expander frame plus' comes in a comb style. Comb style is very convenient for bottom lashes.
I like to use the Maybelline Volum' on Hypercurl Cat eye mascara for my bottom lashes because of the comb style, by the way this mascara is Asia limited.

EOTD of yesterday. The thing I hate about my camera is the micro function picks up every single strand of hair and pore.

So thus I look like I have disgusting skin. Anyway my skin is not flawless.

I wore some Taiwanese false lashes in criss-cross design. It fades out from short to long. Very voluminous and one of my favourite designs.

Circle lens is Super Barbie's Princess Pink.

Lately I don't feel like putting bottom lashes so I use my own lashes only.

Lighting is really bad in my room since not much natural light comes in.

Anyway I took this picture nearer to the source of light. To give a better picture of the colour

Got myself hitting down the shopping complexes around. It's so good to see changes around and a new shopping complex (although still pretty much quiet) and also Sephora around.

Didn't get anything off Sephora since I still have my things and they are not quite done yet.

Since Watsons has been bringing even more cosmetics from Japan and Europe. I have found my love with it again. Like I am never in love with Watsons. It's my favourite drugstore yo!

so, in the new shopping complex. There brought in Uniqlo.

I have been wanting this top like forever eversince I saw it either in Mina or With.

The Cath Kidston charity T-shirts. They are so cute and sweet.

The T-shirt only cost me RM39.90 since it was on sale. The normal price is RM59.90.

From Watsons I picked up a gel eyeliner which I really need and two lipglosses which I need it like I need a hole in a head.

Essense has finally arrived at Malaysia's shores. Oh yeah and they are super affordable.

My lipgloss they cost RM9.90 each.

The eyeliner comes with a brush. The only difference between it and the Europe and American version is the cap. The Asian version has a metal cap which looks so much sleeker.

So the brand name is printed on the frosted jar.

at the night market, I picked up some stuffs besides food.

most importantly is a false lashes glue definitely not an eyecream. amongst all the cheap brand this has to be the best one I used. It's super sticky and it doesn't irritate my eyes. I am not sure where this brand originates from, I guess either China or Taiwan.

but a little higher end I like to use Koji Eye Talk, yea I don't use it as a double eyelid glue.

It works very well with false lashes too.

I picked up more false lashes but these ones were cheap.

The big pink box is just RM8 and the normal singles are just RM1 each. All together I got them for RM10 (around USD3)
These are either Taiwan or China imported lashes. Eventhough they are cheap some are really nice to work with.

Definitely not MAC lashes and I don't think they are even imitation but this lashes have really nice design which I never seen around yet.

This one gives out the dolly feeling.

I picked up Playboy's new line of woman fragrance in Play it Lovely during my transit.

It comes in 30ml for USD10.

There are 3 different types of fragrance in this line. Play it Lovely, Play it Sexy and Play it Spicy.

I haven't really smelt the other lines.

For play it lovely. It has a really sweet scent which I like. It's not sweetly sickening like how I find Britney Spear's perfumes are.

I don't know how to describe the scent since I do not know much about scents and perfumes.

I chopped off about 4-5 inches of my ends since it was as dry as hay.

I also redyed it into a darker colour using Revlon's Light Golden Brown colour which didn't turn out as golden brown for me.

It can be seen that hair looks so much healthier.

I just realized Kiss Me products has arrived at our drugstores. The product range offered is pretty good.

There's quite a number of things I am gonna consider getting like their eyeliners, false lashes and mascara. I heard many good reviews about them.

I picked up only one product from the counter.

Heavy Rotation Eyebrow Mascara in Light Ash.

I have tried this product at the counter and I could say it is one of the best eyebrow mascara I ever tried.

Compare to Kate's, it is not shimmery. I don't know what's with all the shimmers for eyebrow mascara. It is pigmented and the price is not too hefty although slightly more expensive than Kate.

I am gonna redye my hair light brown again soon and yeah, black brows never go good with light hair, for some people atleast.

Here is an example with it on. It looks kinda bad close up...

It fills in the brows just with a swipe, not too much of a hassle to use.

Blue contact lens and the normal generic Taiwanese eyelashes.

Bought somemore Taiwanese eyelashes. They always come cheap and in pretty good quality.

I actually bought three pairs previously to try out for this style. I like it very much thus I am back to buy the whole box.

Bottom lashes. the most expensive out of all i got this round. Bottom lashes are usually more expensive. It gives a dolly effect.

The seller was so kind and the gave me a box free.

Karaoke, crepes and buys

Another karaoke session yesterday with my college buddies and also going with another group of friends today. I swear I am gonna lose my voice soon.

"Can you celebrate?" by Namie Amuro is my best karaoke song.

Anyway after the karaoke, we went to watch Transformers 3. It has been a long time since I stepped into the cinema.

The show was okay for me, the CG was great but storyline wise, I find it typical.

Also! Shimino crepes!

They have brought over crepes to our country.

Not a good picture but atleast you get the idea of the shop's display of the crepes.

A cute lacey dress from the store called Code Pink. Not too lacey which is a turn off.

Etude House's Lucid Darling Lipstick in #6.

I like Etude House's old packaging for lipsticks better. I find them more princessy and sweet.
This one is more classy.

#6 is a nudey orange with slight pinks. I have been always finding for a nice orange lipstick which is not too over the top.

Karaoke session was fun after so long. I never thought I missed karaoke so much

Also, I hate how the selection of Jpop is so scarce here.

Atleast I got to sing some of my favourite song, feels so satisfied.

It's really nice to catch up with old friends too. Checking up on their life and so on.

Anyway after karaoke session, I did a little shopping.

I picked up a floral maxi dress which is pretty cheap.

It only cost around RM29. Such a bargain.

The reason I like shopping in Timesquare at times.

Elianto was having sales. I picked up this sorta highlight colour that was 70% off.

The colour is called baby rose but I don't see anything rosy about it. It is a pinkish champagne colour.

I only paid RM4.50 for this which is just slightly above USD1.

I like when they have sales like this but other than this I didn't find anything interesting.

I might be going back to the place to buy somemore clothes. I saw a few that I quite like but didn't pick them up.

EOTD fails and lippies swatches

I am experimenting makeup currently to make sure how am I gonna dress up for o-bon. Want a look that is gonna match my yukata.

I tried. I tried applying like full black eyeliner all over my eyes like how most of my friend does their makeup.

Didn't look quite as good as it should be. Looks too dark on me and made my eyes look smaller (this i don't like.).

Have to retry it again next time by smudging the black outside instead of applying on the waterline.

This, worked out much better even with the red-pink eyeshadow.

It's still in an experimental process sort of look. Not something I would wear out because of the red. Quite an unsafe colour.

Ok now on to the swatches of 2 new lip colours I got from NYX. The rest is just a repurchase.

NYX megashine lipgloss in Dolly Pink.

The colour itself is super pigmented I just applied on to my lower lip and spread it all over the lip to achieve this nice bright pink that is not too pigmented.

I am loving it!

NYX megashine lipgloss in Natural

In the tube it looks a wee bit scary with the beigy colour. I thought I wasn't gonna work for me when I first saw it in the tube.

After applying, it is like one the wearable everyday colours that everyone loves. A beigy nude pink. Very flattering on fair skin.

Also, I am loving it!

NYX lipglosses are best for its price.

The Jill Stuart Blush Blossom in Romantic Sweat Pea.

Jill stuart has the cutest and most princessy packaging ever and ofcourse it comes with a hefty price tag too. One blush cost about USD58 for me.

It comes together with a pretty blush brush with a bow attached.

It is packed nicely in a pink box.

Sometimes it does looks like the Sailormoon compact thingy. lol

Part 2 of the parcel + haul post.

This one is a tinted moisturizer/foundation which I picked up in Russia to try out.

It is really really cheap.
So I have used only once, it works well on days you don't want a heavy coverage. It is light.

A simple swatch.

Too bad it comes in limited tones. Mine is in natural but it seems a little pink tone for me at first but it does blends after applying.

Here comes the continuation of stuffs I got from my parcel.

NYX Lip lacquer pot which I have been wanting to try for the longest time.

I really like NYX lip products. I think they worth every penny you pay for.

I got mine in Georgia Peach.

It is a nudy pink colour. Looks extremely gorgeous from the pot.

LA color eyeshadow palette. Cheap and works really well.

I got too many brown eyeshadow colours. It seems.

NYX Mosaic blush in Rosey. NYX blushes are love too.

Great pigmentation and colour.

hello from Malaysia + hauls and parcels!!

Just arrived in Malaysia on July 4th. It feels so good to be home with the parents and also the good food available here.
The only downside about here , it's the hot weather and also, the slow internet speed.

It just have been only the first day, I've been shopping for quite a lot. teehee.
Got two shorts, one from Max-tino (the one with the adorable ribbon) and also one from cotton on. The one from Cotton on is extremely affordable, it's only RM29.00.
Such a bargain.

The following post will be stuffs I've got from my parcels.

First up, a collection of NYX lipglosses.
They are my favourite brand of lipglosses. The consistency is smooth, the colours are pigmented and most importantly they are pretty cheap. I got mine from cherryculture.com.
From left : Dolly pink, Smokey Look, Natural, Mauve, Whipped, Sorbet.

RMK's eyeshadows.
They are used but I got them since they are cheap and I really wanted to try them but not pay the hefty price tag.
Texture is smooth, colours are pigmented and spreads like butter.

Majorlica Majorca's Puff de Cheek in PK333. This is the limited edition colour that I made my mum help me pick it up when I was in Russia.

It comes with a cute puff which I doubt I would use, I prefer using a brush to apply my blusher.

Here's a swatch of it. It is a typical bubblegum pink which goes well with fair skintones.

Previously it was exam season thus I was too busy to actually get on the blog thus sorry for the week without updates.

Now since everything is over, I am gonna update a little before returning back home in a few days.

First is a EOTD using the new Vivienne Sabo eyeshadow duo that I picked up awhile ago, I really love the colour but it is not too long lasting and it smudges without a primer.

I also visited Hard Rock cafe in Arbat Street

Food was just average, I feel amongst the American cuisine, Chili's has to be the best.

The grilled medium rare sirloin I ordered was a little bland.

After the meal, visited Red Square, sadly the square is all barred up.

St. Basil's cathedral is breathtaking.

The last colour is the one at the most right.

It is a rosey sandy pink.

A swatch of the pink up! nailpolish i bought the other day.

Love the colour but it sheerer than i thought, needs about 2 coats to achieve this.Can get a little streaky at times too.

This time I picked up a few more nail polishes. Cheap ones but this brand seems to work good for its price.

I think I am on nailpolish craze. lol

Looks like the pinks, reds, roses and purples are my colour.

Just a little things I picked up here and there for the past few weeks.

I picked up 2 nailpolishes. one from Vivienne Sabo and one from Pink up!

I never heard of the brand Pink up! before, but hopefully it does good since it is not really cheap.

Also, picked up a lipgloss from essence in pink dragonfruit. It is more of a reddish pink with silver shimmers.

Isn't it pretty? It gives an instant plump and juicy lip effect.

Ofcourse not as plump as after applying lip plumper.

It is not sticky at all and the colour payoff is good for me.

More random skincare and bath stuffs i got.

Right : Eye cream from some Russian brand. I am always off to try more eyecreams.

Left : Russian brand conditioner. My friend told me it is a good brand, so i bought it to try, i mean why not, it is really cheap too.

Right :Got a Joanna conditioner in Vanilla. The Vanilla scent totally got me into getting this because I love Vanilla scent. Anything vanilla is a plus for me.

Left : Natura Siberica body wash. It is stated it is all natural and organic and I like their shampoo really much. , so am excited to try it out.

Yesterday,

I went to H&M to get some new summer clothes.

A pretty pink summer dress. I dont have a summer dress.

I love this coordinate very very much!!

Eventhough the top is see through but it is so gorgeous.

The top is 699 roubles and the skirt is 499 roubles.

and also this makeup store, Cherie ma Cherie was having a 50% discount storewide.

I picked up some items.

4 eyeshadows and a highlight.

There's one eyeshadow is for my mum.

The colours are Charming Peach, Chocolate Kiss and Plum Punch.

Don't they look exactly like MAC's packaging. ^^;

Drunkards and Chili's

On Friday, after all our credits, we headed for a meal in Chili's in Arbat Street.

It's the first Chili's in Russia.

Before that we had a stroll at the streets of New Arbat.

It feels more lively than when it was Winter. More street vendors and performance and activities.

It was 9pm when I took this picture, still look like it was evening.

Vivienne Sabo Summer collection gets

I went to the beauty shop beside my uni and I saw a new collection display for this brand Vivienne Sabo. There was not much in the new collection, about 3 items only, 3 colours of lipglosses, a bronzer and a mascara, but they were so cute that I couldnt resist them. So i picked a few items. Hauling this is what i do best!

Vivienne Sabo Voyage Poudre Bronzante.

Actually this is the first "drugstore" bronzer I saw in Russia. That's why I had to pick it up.

I swatched it in the store, the colour is perfect for my skintone and it is smooth. It contains some shimmers so some people might hate it.

There's a nice "beach sand"-like design on the powder. I am sure you can see the shimmers from this picture.

Vivienne Sabo Voyage Vinyl Lipgloss

How could I not pick them up, look at the cute charm dangling on it.

I know I need another lipgloss like I need a hole in my head.

I picked up a pink lipgloss and a hot red lipgloss. I know I do not need a pink lipgloss because I have bazillions of it but I just have to had pink because it's pink.

This is my first hot red lipgloss and I am excited about it!

And something new from Essence cosmetics. A gel eyeliner.

Not a want because I really need an eyeliner. All my gel/cream eyeliners dried up. Like completely dried up.

I am gonna see how this works.

This is what I have been having for my breakfast daily.

Chocolate milk and cereal. I hate plain milk.

A lovely cheap perfume by for June, well Summer.

Just for me to spray it around everywhere...

I like the fact it smells very sweet. A sweet floral smell that is not too overbearing.

Since it is cheap, i dont mind spraying more and everywhere.

It was only 78roubles.

Since it has been so sunny that I could hardly open my eyes outdoors.

I got myself a pair of singlasses.

Just a normal sunglasses with big frames. I realize this type of sunglasses suit me the most.

The Ray Ban style ones look really off on me.

I will busy for this week till either mid or end of Junes due to clearing all my credits and my upcoming finals. Thus, the posting in this blog will simmer down a little.

I have been also hunting circle lenses up and down (which made me part busy, lol). The ones that I really really love are all out of stock which makes me a really really sad girl.

So, currently I am joining a pre-order for the lens and went crazy because there's a lot of new designs out . When it comes then you would know how many lenses I got. I live by circle lenses. Hopefully there's no out of stock from the manufacturer too. *Crosses fingers*

A NOTD post : Purple nailpolish with gold glitters.

I know the nailpolish is cheap but I didn't like the formulation at all. It dries super slow and the colour is super sheer, takes 2-3 coats to achieve the colour I desire.

NYX in L'etoile Russia

Yesterday I was walking around this Russian chain beauty store. You could say it is like Russian's ULTA. L'etoile.

What surprised me is there's a collection of NYX there.

There's didn't have a huge selection though, there's the powder blushes, mosaic blush, twin powder cake, mega lip shine lipgloss, round lipgloss, round lipstick, black label lipstick etc.

but. they are way overpriced. For a round lipstick it is around 300+ roubles (USD11) where you could get it in America for USD2. See the extreme price hike.

Most are hiked more than double their actual price. Which is too much for me.

Anyway, I picked up a lipbalm from L'etoile because I needed one. I didn't know where I misplaced my Nivea lipbalm.

Being able to paint my nails again makes me a happy girl.

Finally I found cheap nail polishes in Russia. Yes. I am not willing to pay around 100+ roubles for a Maybelline nailpolish when I know I could get it much cheaper in my country. So stingy of me.

A rose colour with gold glitters. So pretty.

Yes. I picked up a few more bottles of nail polishes to experiment around.

They are cheap so I don't expect them to have the best quality but I did pay a lot more for the top coat. I am gonna see how the top coat is gonna work.

Review : Vivienne Sabo Couleurs De Luxe Luxury Lipgloss

I am gonna on this new lipglosses I purchased a few days ago. I only wore them for 3 days but I think that enough tries to give them a review.

This is how they look like.

They come in a classy gold lid imprinted with the name of the gloss in gold.

I actually took pictures of the actual product in my May Haul post.

It comes with 8ml and cost around 140roubles. It is very afforable.

The gloss comes in a thick texture thus I find it hard to spread it and it can be really gloopy if applied too much. Texture is a wee bit sticky but it doesn't bother me.

It is so pigmented that a little is needed for apply on the lips. Usually I just dab the sponge tip applicator on my lips and spread it out my lips.It gives a lot of colour even applying as so.

For me, it feels like a lip cream than a lipgloss due to the thick consistency.

I am wearing the lipgloss in the number 81.

It is a baby pink on the lips. Very flattering baby pink.

The lasting effect is pretty average. Last about 4-5 hours if you don't eat or drink.

I am one those type who do not mind reapplying lip products as long as the colour is pretty unless I paid a lot for that particular lip product. So this doesn't bother me.

This lipgloss is neither too dry nor too moisturizing thus it is advisable to exfoliate the lips before applying the lipgloss or apply intensive lip balm the night before applying this lipgloss.

It does set into fine lines so people with horribly chapped lips. Exfoliate and moisturize before applying it.

Overall, a lovely lipgloss. I love it.
